Description of Work: I hired East Coast Pools in July 2012 to install a saltwater above ground pool that was buried halfway in the ground (you have to purchase a particular heavy duty and more expensive pool to handle the weight of being buried). I was not an Angie's List member yet so I had to just pick a company based on free reviews on yahoo, etc. East Coast Pools seemed to get the best reviews for pool companies in Wilmington. I've been so pleased with them that I thought they deserved to be added to Angie's List since I'm now a member. From the time I went into their store to learn about what pool I wanted to purchase, to completely installing the pool only took 2 weeks!!! They brought in heavy equipment to dig the hole, worked hard and efficiently and were very professional. Based on research and a couple of quotes from companies I decided not to use, I thought their prices were very reasonable. I have spent about $14,000 for the pool and tons of accessories (ladders, toys, lights, salt, maintenance chemicals, pool equipment and a high quality safety cover). They also will let you bring in your pool water sample and they will computer test it for free with a print out of what your pool needs! (They provide pool cleaning services but I prefer to do it myself) I did have them come and install the cover and winterize my pool though. There have been many times that I've had a concern about something because I'm a new pool owner and not experienced yet. You can call Jake anytime at the store and he will walk you through the steps of what to do and when I've needed more than you can do on the phone, the owner, Mike, stops by the house to help me. The employees are very experienced and Mike said he's been working with pools for 30 years.
