I called the number provided on Angie's list at about 2:45pm. My call was returned at 3:00pm. She had someone there at 3:30pm. The plumber was friendly and professional. He came in, quickly diagnosed the problem and resolved it. Toilet is working just fine. I would use them again and definitely recommend them to someone else.

Plumbers and electrician subs team worked like a clock! Both plumber and electrician had assistants so work went quickly and efficiently. Drained and moved 80 gallon water heater from attic through the house to the garage (not a direct route available) with no problems--very careful of walls. Electrician moved 220 circuit easily and install was very clean. Heater was properly mounted on a stand and piping routed through walls perfectly. They also moved the point where hot water links into system so we now get hot water to kitchen much faster. We discussed water pressure and decided to uninstall water softener and that did vastly improve pressure---this was not discussed in initial visit and the guys did it quickly. DB came out and inspected job site midway through which made me feel good, and let us discuss changes as we went. Clean up was done as they went--very efficient. County/City Inspector came out the next day and the work passed easily. This was a great, quick, thorough and professional job! A+

1. they came first thing the next morning, after calling them about 1 PM the day before 2. repair was made quickly and easily (well, easy for them) 3. 15 minutes after they left, another leak was found in the outflow pipe from the same softener. (The two leaks seemed to be unrelated, other than their proximity to each other, about 2.5 feet from each other and on opposite sides of an exterior wall. Its possible that the second leak developed as a result of sudden pressure changes as the main supply valve was closed and then opened.) 4. I called them back before they had a chance to travel too far - they returned immediately and repaired the second leak at no additional charge.

We called DB Plumbing at 4:25pm Mon 2/28/2011. They returned the call at 4:35pm. They came to the house at 5:30pm to check out the situation (water heater needed to be replaced). They spoke with the Warranty company a couple of times early on Tue 3/1. They set up an appointment to replace the tank at 1pm. They dropped off the new tank at 10am, and told us a crew would be here at 1pm to install it. The crew showed up at 1pm, and removed the old tank and installed the new tank by about 3pm. Total bill, including the cost of the new tank and miscellaneous materials, was $570. Quick, inexpensive, and easy to work with. One quibble: the workmen left the power off to the new water heater. Once we discovered this and turned on the power, the new heater worked fine.

They were able to replace the fixtures and fix the commodes without issue. DB did a great job overall!

I hired DB Plumbing because of their ratings on Angie's List. I was not disappointed! I love these two guys. (Don, Danny and Dave -- but I can't remember the exact two who came at the moment). I remember only that they were smart, kind and proficient. We called because our first water bill in the home we just purchaed was over $200. We had only lived in the home a couple of weeks. DB Plumbing came out within two days of our call, diagnosed the problems, and fixed what they could immediately take care of. The toilets are 12-year old, high end, one piece toilets (difficult to work on) and the parts are special order. When the parts arrived, they returned and took care of all the work. They were professional,obviously had years of experience, and inspired immediate trust. As they were leaving, we mentioned a terrible noise when we used the outdoor hose and they told us exactly what the problem was. Though they could not fix it (as there is builder's code to consider) they showed us how some homeowerns take care of the issue if we decided to do so. This is a high-integrity, ethical company. We'll not be hiring anyone but DB Plumbing in the future!

They arrived early enough to accommodate my schedule, and did a great job!

I was so pleased with quickly and efficiently they repaired my main water line leak that I called DB Plumbing back out to my house to help me with my kitchen sink which had not been plumbed properly by another contractor. I needed a new garbage disposal installed and also drain lines reworked. This was a slightly more involved job. They were about an hour later than they said they would arrive, but once Don saw the problem he knew exactly what to do. It cost almost $200 to replace all the kitchen sink service and drain lines and install a new garbage disposal and run plumbing for an exterior sink on the opposite side of the wall. so far no problems! I will definitely call DB plumbing next time I need a plumber. They really know their stuff and are very professional and courteous

So I called DB Plumbing and told them I wanted those toilets replaced. They helped me over the phone order what I wanted and set up a time for installation the following day. Two men arrived promptly on time and immediately unhung the disposal and went to work on the toilets. Unfortunately one of the ones I ordered by phone was not the right size (my second bath apparently had a non-standard toilet) and the workmen had to return to the supplier and trade out one of the toilets for the right size for that bathroom. They explained what happened, apologized (not their fault), and when they would return. They came back at the time they predicted, finished the job quickly, and now everything is working great!

I have a brick ranch with a crawl space and Danny and Dave came out and had to crawl under the house to replace the faucet. The copper pipe was butted against the wall of the house and they moved the pipe back and reconnected it. I supplied the copper pipe (not required, but I had the parts) and faucet they supplied $11 in parts and $50 for service call and $75 per hour. The project took one hour to complete. I had previously had an estimate from stricklands plumbing for $200 to replace both faucets in the front and back. I called DB Plumbing tuesday and they were out wednesday to fix the problem. I wish I had called months ago. Thank you Danny and Dave.

Shower faucet issue problem diagnosed quickly and repairs done expediently and with no problems. I would definitely use their services again.

The two servicemen arrived on time and promptly went to work. The old hoses were corroded and very difficult to remove from the water faucets. I was thankful that I had decided not to attempt to do the job myself. It would have been impossible for me to do it. They replaced the old hoses with new metal braided hoses that offer more protection from rupturing. The exhaust hose from the dryer had been poorly connected and moisture and dust had been escaping into the washer /dryer area. They found this problem and fixed it as well. I have used this company before with the same two servicemen, and they are fantastic.

Called late yesterday afternoon. Job completed by 10:30 today

I called on Wednesday and spoke to co-owner Jo Barnhouse. She scheduled an appointment at my convenience on Friday. Owners Jo and Donald Barnhouse both arrived at the condo on time to assess the situation and recommend the type of water heater I should purchase. I had a question about replacing the cutoff valve, but Donald said it did not need to be replaced. (It would be an unnecessary expense.)They said the work could be done later that day. They indicated they could install a larger unit and actually save me money on the cost of the unit. Servicemen Danny and David arrived promptly as scheduled and completed the job in a timely manner. They were courteous, professional and meticulous about cleaning up everything when finished. They were patient and answered all my questions. They seemed to take pride in doing a good job.

I was please to find someone who would take a small job. David came once and determined what was needed and returned a second time to do the work. I was please with the service.

Unfortunately for DB they evidently had a bad batch of thermostats which required them to come back out and replace the ones they had put in earlier. However there was absolutely no charge and no hassle with getting them to come back out and redo the job. When they say they guarantee their work they mean it.
