Scott Burge of Coastline Carpets was recommended by my realtor, Intracoastal Realty, when I purchased a new condo. Scott gave me samples of flooring for me to choose from. Then he installed the product. It made crackling sounds, like a cross between tin foil, egg shells, and bubble wrap. In 16 months, we have had inspectors come who say it is the installation done improperly that is causing the noise. Scott has left a section of floor without product, and will not return emails, texts, or phone calls, to either complete the work or return my money. I either walk on crackling floors or step on subfloor. He told the store where he bought the material that if they refunded their cost, he would reinstall different flooring without charging me additional money, because even though the independent inspectors say it is his installation that is at fault, he swears it's the Kaindl product. So now the store refunded the money, but Scott will not come and finish the job at my house. Do not use this company!!!
