I had a HORRIBLE experience dealing with the owner Francine. Long story short she stole items I had consigned, claimed they were always hers, and refused to return them to me. Here are the details: When I went in to consign a number of items she did not issue a complete receipt showing the full list of items I had dropped off. She had a number of reasons and delays, but unfortunately I was not persistent enough to demand one. When I later went back to retrieve my items, a large number were missing!! I looked around the store and saw that they were still displayed and for sale at higher prices than Francine had originally quoted. I questioned her as to why she still had my belongings but she then claimed they had always been hers. The most ridiculous thing is, among the items that she had taken and was trying to sell were a set of 7 antique linen place settings. I still had the matching missing 8th back home in a bin I had not brought in!! She claimed they were hers and that I must have a duplicate set... from 1950!! Needless to say, a police report was filed and I highly recommend avoiding this store at all costs. There are many great antique stores in the area, but this is definitely NOT one of them!!
