Hurray for Carolina Custom Exterior Inc.! I can't sing their praises enough! This company was soooooo professional and perfect! We have a 100 year old two story house in Midtown Wilmington. We wanted to replace the old clapboard exterior with James Hardie Board Siding. We also have the original windows that needed some love due to some missing trim work/sills and drip caps.CCE was subcontracted by my general contractor. When Adam Gaddy and his crew came in, we knew we had hit the jackpot. Adam asked me questions about many things and understood what we wanted to achieve. He brought up things we haven't even noticed and he said "no extra charge, we will do it." His crew carefully measuring and working at lighting speed while gently pulling off old wood to reuse for another job! Adam remembers everything you say and he was on site everyday. We also wanted to replace a boring gable vent with another vintage vent. No problem! He even took the provided replacement vent and had copper flashing put on it. Beautiful! Then fish scale Hardie siding went up around it with precision thanks to crew members Fran and Nick. BEST WORK EVER- Thanks guys!
Description of Work: Replaced around 2300 square feet of clapboard siding with James Hardie board Siding. Tarpaper. Trimmed out several windows and added missing detail to other windows. Replaced gable vent ( we supplied the vent). Replaced missing or damaged house trim. All trim was wood. Salvaged old wood for another job. Custom Carolina Exterior Inc.
