They never showed up! I spoke with Ginger who scheduled an appointment for herself to come to our home and review our needs, write a proposal / quote / estimate. I had to wait two weeks for the appointment as they were so busy. When the day and time came... I waited and waited. When no one showed I called (the next day) to ask what had happened. Ginger told me she had gotten tied up with another job. When I asked why no one called me to cancel the appointment, Ginger bristled and repeated that they were just too busy. Folks, if you are too busy to keep appointments then you call to cancel... that would be acceptable. But if you are too busy to call to cancel, then you are just WAY too busy. Too busy to care about your customers, too busy to conduct yourselves in a professional manner. I recommend we help American Patio Drive & Walk not be so busy by not doing business with a company that thinks how busy they are is an excuse to treat their customers with such disdain. I will NEVER call them again.

No one ever called me back

Would not use again. The initial sales person was pleasant and seemed knowledgable. Although the service area was clearly marked by NC811 our internet/cable line was cut. American patio did not seem concerned with the disruption in service and the inconvenience caused. We waited 24 hours for cable/internet service to be restored and another 2 weeks (with a cable strewn across the yard) before the cable service contractor was able to come back and dig up our yard to bury the new cable.

They said it would be about 3 weeks but ended up getting it done less than a week after paying a deposit, very fast! The work looked great when they were finished.

They were easy to work with and did an amazing job!! Very professional and I would use them again.

I couldn't have been happier with how the project went. Our job foreman was an elderly gentleman who listened to what I was hoping to achieve and he made is a reality. We now have a curvy aesthetically pleasing driveway and sidewalk that has increased the curb appeal of our house by 100 fold.

It looks great! The foreman was very meticulous and pleasant.

I called the lady Ginger that came out after a week and a half, she said she was sorry she had been very busy and would get back with me the next week. I never heard from her, I texted her the next week. She never responded. I called her the next day she said she was wrapping up a big job with another client that day and she was sorry she would get back with me the next week. Never heard from her again. Don't waste your time. She lost a big job...$13,000.00

The entire process was quick and easy. I called them to come out and give an estimate. They were at my home within two days, and I had the estimate back to me the same day. I ended up added a cure and seal to the finished patio and there was no additional waiting period for it. They were able to work me in before a big job and my patio was completed in about a week. It would have been sooner, but unfortunately rain kept delaying the process. However, even with the rain, they worked around it and it only took them a few days to actually do the job. Karen was very nice and the guys that came out and poured the concrete were nice and very professional. American Patio quoted several hundred dollars less than a couple of other companies and the patio looks great!

A great company from the very start of this project. We explained what we wanted and they were able give us just that. The driveway now looks like it should have all along, they went above and beyond and dug out my hedge, moved and replanted it along the new portion of the driveway, brought in fertilizer for my hedge and watered it for me each morning they were here. Very friendly people, I could not have asked for a better group. It's beautiful and I would have them back in a heart beat.

After reading the reviews posted on Angie's List, I had no intention of calling American Patio Drive & Walk for a quote on a driveway/walkway project I am starting. I meant to cross them off my list, but I did not and inadvertently called their office. Ginger answered the phone and I remembered her name from the Angie's List report, got flustered, and asked to schedule an appointment for a quote. She transferred me to a man, I do not recall his name, and we scheduled for 10am the next morning. I should have just hung up, but I was a bit curious after reading the other reports. True to form as reported on Angie's List, no one from America Patio Drive & Walk ever came to my home at 10am, 11am, or 12 noon, nor was a telephone call ever received acknowledging the delay or apologizing for the no-show. I find this to be extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. I am glad that in these difficult economic times for everyone else, the folks over at American Patio Drive & Walk have SO much business that they are able to throw away potential current and future business and referrals, the usual life-blood of every other business I know. Bottom Line: Don't waste your time; not even to make the phone call. They are good at making appointments, but they are lousy at keeping them.

I threw away their card because I knew I would never use them again. Someone just asked me today who did the drive way, and I told them I would not recommend the company that did the work.

The American Patio people were great to work with. I was called if there was going to be even a minor delay in their arrival to do the estimate and the actual repair work. The men who did the work were polite and professional. Ginger, who came to do the estimate, was very knowledgable and did not try to talk me into doing any more to the driveway than I initially requested.
