A/C CYCLE HEATING & COOLING

We hired Jason / AC Cycles based on our Realtor's recommendation, to repair the air conditioning unit on our mothers home. The property was being sold and several AC related issues were discovered by the home inspector. Jason was prompt, repaired the unit quickly, charged less than we expected and the unit passed the buyer's re-inspection. I understand that Jason only services the Porters Neck area, Figure 8, and that he is well regarded by his clients. We are lucky to have him.

This company originally installed a heat pump but had several problems over the years with it. They did honor the warrantee but took a long time for parts to arrive. After a few years the unit began making too much noise and I was told one of those tiny geko's(?) got stuck in the unit and was making the noise (not possible for a little insect to do that). I called again about 6 months ago and was told the owner had an emergency and was out of the country. I ended up buying a new unit from the company filling in for him and it is much more efficient and very quiet.

I have been using this company since I moved to Wilmington 11 years ago. I have had excellent service from the beginning. They service my unit every year and I have no complaints whatsoever. When we first moved to Wilmington, it was January and our heater went out. I chose this company beccause they were the first listing. When I talked to him, I told him we could wait until the next morning becuase it was after 5:00. He asked if we had any small children. When I infomed him we had an infant, he said he was not comfortable waiting until the next morning as the temp was predicted to be below 40. He came over and we had a heat for the night. They have extremely good price, excellent service, and great followup. They did a super job.
