A & I Fire & Water Restoration

Description of Work: We had a broken pipe within our bathroom wall that leaked under the bathroom vanity and the bedroom carpet. After firing Service Master for lack of service, A&I came out promptly and set up their equipment without so much as a question about insurance coverage. They came out a few times daily to check the progress of the drying blowers and were very professional

Description of Work: Wanted to get an estimate for water damage. By the end of the meeting he wanted to replace all the carpet in the bed room and walk in closet, replace all the hardwood throughout the house, replace the carpet in the living room and replace all the tile in master bath. When checking for water damage the tech "pushed down" on the "tester" when checking for water. The other guy didn't do that. Also as it was explained by another contractor that the device they use for identifying water damage can not be used of wood, and concrete and sheet rock ect. The densities are different and the machine are set to a very sensitive setting. When the guy from A and I "pushed" down on the machine and "all the carpet" needed to be replaced should have been my first clue that the contractor was fishy at best. What really set of alarms about this contractor was from a friend of mine that warned me about them as I told him my issue. I never mentioned A and I to him, he just told me to stay away. So I did.
