He did an excellent and I would recommend him.

Got a groupon voucher for whole house carpet cleaning. When I called he kept referring me to another voucher that covered a much smaller area. When he came out (several hours late) I showed him the voucher I had and he said, "I guess I'll honor it." It wasn't expired, there was no reason he shouldn't have honored it and I shouldn't have had to convince him that he should. When he arrived, at 6 pm, several hours later than scheduled, he didn't introduce himself, he had no paperwork, he just said where's the front door. Then he tried to upsell me every single service he could possibly offer after I had said no to everything and that I just wanted what the voucher covered. He talked me into cleaning my stairs, which I now regret because every bit of carpet he cleaned now reeks like mildew. He "cleaned" 3 rooms and my stairs and when he left I asked him how long it would be until it dried and he said "I dunno?" Really?! Well, it took so long to dry that my carpet smells like a locker room - it took 2 weeks for the smell to go away. All of the areas he spot cleaned now look even worse than before because they all dried into dark patches on my carpet and STILL smell over a month later. Probably the most charming part of the experience was when he came out of my bedroom and told me that it smelled like "p***" - really professional. When he finally left around 8:00, well after my 2 year old's bedtime, there were no instructions about when to put the furniture back in place, clearly he had no idea when it would dry. Now that it has dried, there is a gross residue all over the carpet, it feels aweful. We have already hired another company to come out an re-clean our carpets. I wish I had never hired Diamond Clean, my carpets are in worse shape than before they "cleaned" them. There's no way I would have them back here to fix it, I don't want them in my house again.

Before buying the voucher, I went to their website to make sure they serviced my area, I sent an email to confirm and got back a reply from Robert to call the office and book it through Keith. I played phone tag a couple of times, then finally spoke live with a representative. I assume this was Keith. When he first answered the phone, he was mumbling about some "b****" that he had just dealt with who couldn't understand why they charged a gas fee, "doesn't she know that we have to drive to her house"? At first I thought he was talking to someone in the same room with him, but now I think he was talking to me. I told him I wanted to book my carpet cleaning, but do they come to Youngsville, he said YES for a $25 fee. FIne......understood. I said I wanted to make an appointment for Aug 4, which was the first Saturday I would be available. He called me by the wrong name 2 times in the conversation, asked me what city I lived in 3 times. Right before we ended the conversation, he said "see you on the 28th". I told him that I was very concerned, he hadn't listened to anything I had said..... and told him that I wanted it on Aug 4, not July 28. He huffed some and said "I'm a little busy here, you have no idea" and acted like he was mad that he had to rewrite it in the appointment book. I asked him to read it back to me, including my name, date, address, etc. He said "i've got it down, don't worry". I hung up thinking some very nasty thoughts about Diamond Clean. I emailed through the website again (hoping to hear from Robert) and said that i had just made an appointment and the guy was confused and asked someone to confirm the information, never have gotten a response to this date. Yesterday (7/27) I called to confirm my appointment on 8/4........Keith answered. I said "I want to confirm my appointment", he said "If i booked it for you, then it's confirmed" and he gave me the "irritated laugh" and I'm sure an eye roll was thrown in. I asked him to please confirm it, he said he wasn't near his appointment book. Didn't offer to check and call back, didn't even ask who was on the phone, anything. I will just chalk this up as an expensive lesson. I sent in another email today through their website and expressed my feelings and said that no one from Diamond Clean had better show up at my house on Aug 4............. of course I'm pretty confident that they don't have me on file anyway. Do yourself a favor, don't call them. There are plenty of other companies that provide excellent service in this area.

I bought the service through a ZSpotDeal. He had problems with his carpet cleaning van, so he had to re-schedule my appointment to another day. When he arrived, he insisted on measuring every room, only to have it come out with less square footage than the certificate maximum. The visit seemed okay at first, then he upsold me on some spot remover chemicals that didn't end up removing the spots because he didn't end up doing all of the work. He left me samples to do the rest of the job myself. After he left, I realized that he drug his tubes across my stairwell, and my white paint now has black marks all over it, and my black paint has been rubbed all the way down to the wood from him yanking the hoses over and around my stairwell/banisters. He was the last contractor to come in my house (after multiple plumbers, painters, and a general contractor), and he left a mess behind when he was supposed to clean the carpets. So overall, 90% of my carpets got clean, but I wasn't happy about the stairwell and the stains. I didn't end up calling him back because I thought it was going to be more hassle than it was really worth.
