See above. The only item we should have included was carpet padding. The home improvement store were we purchased the indoor/outdoor carpet told us that padding was not necessary.

We would highly recommend Darrick for your home improvement project. He is a very personable guy and he did thorough job finishing up our porch on schedule. His bid was very competitive and the quality of work was top notch. We love our new porch and plan to hire this company again for future home improvement projects.

Very disappointed in this and other contractors that never bothered to contact me for an estimate. I know it is a hassle and no one wants to feel like they are wasting their time, but just because they may not get the contract is no reason to not give the estimate. I am sure the company is a good one, but without the estimate, I'll never know.

After calling Darrick to request an emergency estimate for damage inflicted to our screen porch by another company, he was out looking at the issue the next day. In person, and by phone, he was pleasant, professional, and clearly an expert. I had 8 estimates to fix this particular problem. Not only was he the most impressive in person, his estimate was also the lowest. I had one other estimate just a bit higher than his, and everyone else was $1000 - $2000 higher. He was also one of the few contractors to always follow-up quickly and without fail to inquiries. In the end, he wasn't able to do the work for us, because the company who damaged the porch insisted on bringing in a contractor associated with them to repair the damage, but given the choice we would've chosen Darrick and A + M construction. And we plan to call him first the next time we need a contractor.

We use their service because they have a really great grasp of the expertise to do really quality HVAC type of stuff. They have got great attention to detail. They take a little bit longer than everyone else but they are really good at what they do. They give a really quality product.

I just talk to them over the phone I didn’t really deal with them. They were nice and helpful. No problem. I didn’t like anything about them we just decided to do it ourselves. They return your calls is definitely good. They were nice.

Over all it went well. They did a good job. We worked with Art and Ken. Both were very friendly and responsive to any concerns or questions we had about the project. The work was only able to get done in spurts but that was due to weather. The finished project was great.

Derek was straightforward and honest about time, cost, and materials. Would highly recommend him

It was a great experience over all. The weather seemed to NOT cooperate with us though, but there is nothing you can do about that. What was supposed to be about two to three week job turned into a little over a month, it just kept on raining. At any rate Darrick and his workers were very friendly and professional. The deck was the first thing to get done, we were very happy with the results; it turned out better than we imagined. Darrick walked us through every step he made; showing us the wood he was using, and decking screws as well. He would stop work and have us check what he was doing to make sure it was what we were looking for. The back splash turned out wonderful as well. Jason, I believe his name was, was very clean and made sure that there was plastic on the floor and counter to protect from dirt and scratching. Jason cut all the tiles outside to keep the dust out of the house. The tile work is great! The concrete is what took the longest. As soon as we would be ready to pour, there would be rain in the forecast. He did not want to pour in the rain and Mike and I agreed. About two weeks after the original concrete pouring date it was poured and done. I have to say it looks beautiful. It is stamped and stained and looks perfect! My husbands grill and smoker look sharp on it. The fence was the last thing to get done, and that only took two days. Had it not rained everything would have been done sooner. However, Darrick called, or e-mailed me to keep me in the know and I would hire A & M General Contracting again in a heart beat!!!

Project went very well....please see above. Contractor was very patient with us and the engineer. He was also very easy to talk with and explained everything. He also provided pros and cons to all of our ideas.

Darrick and his crew were very professional and punctual. Darrick kept me informed during the entire process from estimate to final inspection. The price was very competitive. I'm well pleased with the screened porch and I will use Darrick and his crew for future construction jobs.

Contacted them to get estimate and outline of what they suggested would be the best application..as mentioned, worked around my schedule to get the work done....showing up at 5:30 am to do they job before my business opened. They also fixed coolers and refrigeration units in my business.

A supposed contractor was building an addition and new deck onto our home. He took the money and left us with an addition that was only ~25% completed. I called A&M hoping for an estimate to get the job finished. Darrick happened to be in the area and came over immediately to look at the job. He listened to my concerns, took measurements and photos, made notes, and provided a prompt, reasonable estimate. He also said they could begin work within the next couple of weeks. My husband decided to do most of the leftover work himself in order to try to recoup some of our lost money, but had he not, we certainly would have hired A&M.

We were very, very pleased and would recommend Darrick and his staff to everyone. They were very punctual, very professional, very easy to talk to and their work is impeccable. I can't wait for our next project and working with them again

He started on time, was on the job early to late, had friendly, and professional crew, was very open to our requests and helpful when any issues arose. Finished job in a timely manner.
