"Deceiving Prices & Service. Do not trust them for the job and for an Estimate. They are the biggest plumbing company in US & Canada and they use this to charge Outrageous estimates. Do NOT consider Roto Rooter. For a simple install of a new Water pressure reduc valve, the plumber asked me to sign a contract to agree on the the $440 estimate BEFORE he did the job. After thinking back this is PURE WRONG. U should never sign a contract for a price before the work is done especially if it is going to just take a few minutes. If the price is too high, there is something wrong. and if something seems wrong, do NOT pay them until u get an explanation. Even if this means paying them later. You will see they were trying to overcharge u by 2x normal amount. Roto will charge the most they can if they think they can get away with it. And for me, they did. I have a decent income, own my own business and would never complain about a few dollars. But we know scam and deception when we see one. Mike Wilson the manager did nothing to give customers satisfaction, and justice, especially when Bobby overcharged us $440 for a $200 job at the most. There are many small claims and lawsuits against this company its uncountable. Even a Class Action Lawsuit against Roto Rooter back in the 2000s because this company consistently charged Americans for unknown fees/parts. Now they are doing the same thing, except for service. They're excuse: If u signed the contract, you agree and have to pay that amount. But do not pay. U can still go into legal action if u do not pay and can prove they overcharged. Neither Mike or technician bobby could explain to me what the charges was for. Mike via email was able to tell me what $100 of the $440 was for, and nothing else... Ridiculous. Obscene price for the work done. Roto, this is why I will never recommend you guys: u charge whatever you want to get the most out of customers who do not know plumbing. You guys charged me $440 for 30 minutes of labor and a part that cost less than $70. Being young and a minority, you guys took advantage and cheated us. Technician Bobby charged us $440 dollars to simply replace an Old pressure reducing valve that took no more than 30 min, parts and fees/parts being less than $100. That could only mean we were charged over $300 for 30 min labor?? Mike tried to get me to accept this fact by telling me it was "quality 30 minutes of labor" Laughable. and again ridiculous. Before he left Bobby also lied in our faces when he told us we were charged $150/hour since the moment he arrived to when he left was 2 hours, he used this as his excuse before he left our home. But i later found out Roto doesn't charge by the hour. There was SO MANY things wrong with this company a& what they did. I didn't even mention that they delayed and were late to our home appt by more than 2+hours.There were No itemization on the receipt, no explanation from Bobby the technician on how he pulled out his estimate and his price. Neither response or help from Manager Mike as well. I later found that the manager's name is actually some guy name Shockley who I never even spoke with. Just too many things wrong with this company, what they do and say. And not even the worse part is all their techs are not even licensed plumbers. Sad."

"I would say when the quote was done the guy was very impatient BUT seemed very knowledgeable… Until he calls back that afternoon with the contracts and at this point he has no clue what anything means doesn’t know what the extra charge is he decided to add on for the 3 properties and tried to pass it off for us to just call his office number so we can make payment to avoid having to talk about it especially when $600+ is involved I’d like for you to answer a few questions.. not unreasonable.. So finally after we get our answers, we call the office to make a payment the girl originally seemed nice took our payment And then a week later we get a call and they say we never paid anything… So we check our bank account and it looks like she mischarged us only paid $200 when it should’ve been way more but would not own her mistake and told us that we should’ve told her there were three properties but what’s weird is all three properties are on the same contract and if you had a computer system you would’ve seen this and you said you had the contract in front of you so you would need to add the totals DUHHHHHH… but it’s OK you know a good customer support representative would’ve owned their mistake, apologized, and corrected the issue… you should not keep pointing the finger at the customer as it is never their problem for system flaws!!! I would not recommend these people if you guys want good service these people just want your money they don’t give a crap about you nor do they have good workmanship they charge you up the butt for nothing and do not warrantee any of it either"

Different pest control methods exist to help mitigate an infestation. Not every technique will work with every pest, which is why speaking with a pest control expert is crucial to taming your problem. Different methods of pest removal include:
Heat treatments
Freezing treatments
Traps
Barriers
Chemical pesticides
Fumigation
Rodenticides
Mechanical devices
Repellants
The cost of pest control is $175 for the average homeowner. However, you could spend as little as $100 or as much as $500 or more, depending on the infestation size, the number of visits you need, and the pest you’re exterminating.
For example, if you need to rid your home of spiders, you’ll likely be spending between $100 and $300. However, if you have a termite problem, you can expect a bill of $230 to $2,500 or more, depending on the infestation size and damage caused.
There are specific methods for pest removal that you can DIY without hiring an expert. If you are preventing pests from making an appearance or clearing out a small infestation of harmless insects, you will likely have success on your own. However, if you’re dealing with pests that eat wood, bedbugs, or other pests that carry a disease risk, like rodents, it’s always worth it to call a pest professional to help you.
Even if you’re not immediately showing signs of pests, it’s a good idea to get into the habit of routine pest control. This should be done yearly, quarterly, bi-monthly, or monthly, depending on your location and if any signs of infestation are already present. For example, if you live by water, you might experience more pests in the spring and summer than someone who lives in a dry climate. Discuss treatment options with your pest professional to determine a suitable schedule for you and your home.
While not every infestation is preventable, there are some actions you can take to minimize the risk of running into these pests in your home. These actions include:
Keeping your home tidy. This includes vacuuming regularly, sanitizing your kitchen, storing food in airtight containers, disposing garbage regularly, and keeping your home clutter-free.
Deep clean at least twice a year. Deep cleaning neglected crevices and corners of your home can help prevent breeding grounds from forming.
Repairing your home when needed. If your home has cracks or holes, you have an open invitation for pests to come in. Remove any standing water and seal any gaps in your floors, walls, and foundation.
Cleaning up your yard. Keep shrubbery and branches well-trimmed and away from your home. Remove fallen leaves and other debris.
Be smart with storage. If you use firewood, store it away from the home (at least 20 feet away if possible) and off of the ground.
