+ -1 moreRG roofing surpassed my expectations. He showed up for the estimate when he said he would and gave me a written estimate within 24 hours. It rained on the day that the work was to be done, so he came the next day with a larger crew who worked for over 12 hours to get it done that day. It was originally going to be a two day job, but they got it done on schedule even though we lost a day to rain. The workmen were responsive, respectful and did everything they could to make the job go smoothly. Overall they did great!!!

Description of Work: Perfection -- that's what I received in this home re-roofing job. RG Roofing Specialist is superb. Rudy and his Team do outstanding work and they do not take "shortcuts" to make more profit. I've done roofing jobs before but this was too large a task for me to handle and I'm happy I hired RG Roofing Specialist. Based on my observation of the entire job that took a little more than 1 and 1/2 days, they are driven by the traits of honor, integrity, hard work, professionalism in customer interaction and in the performance of the work. They removed the old shingles and roofing underlayment, repaired or replaced any wood that needed replacing, installed new roofing underlayment, installed new drip edge where I never had that before, new 30 year shingles, new soffit vents under the eaves, new chimney flashing, and new ridge vents. I also had them to replace all gutter downspouts with a larger size than I had so rain will flow more quickly from my gutters. They also nailed the new shingles using roofing hammers and not by using air driven nail guns, which was important to me. I have some sheds that I shingled years ago. When they need re-roofing, I'm calling RG Roofing Specialist.

+ -1 moreRodolfo was able to give me an estimate over the phone based on my text photo and description. He was able to come within 24 hrs. His crew did beautiful work! Since my shingles were no longer manufactured, they 'transplanted" some from the back side of my roof to cover the hole. This ensured the the slightly different shade shingles were on the back of the house and not visible. The repair looks flawless and is water tight. The price was very reasonable. Rodolfo came out to inspect the job as his crew was finishing up. Very detailed oriented and great contractors! Highly recommended!!!!!

Small job but very responsive in assisting us. Came out several weeks later, fixed roof, job completed. No additional problems. Most impressive part he generally does large jobs, new roofs, but he took time out of his schedule to assist. We will keep him in mind for a new roof replacement in the future!

Description of Work: An 85ft Pine tree crashed on the ridge of my roof. So there was a large hole there and another on lower part of roof. This was repaired BEAUTIFUL Textured shingles in a Slate Grey were installed, just makes house POP!! Also he put on Gutters and only charged me half Price !!! Also cleaned up all old removed shingles not a nail to be found .Very Polite group of workers..After such a Messy experience to come home to a Beautiful Roof all cleaned up I'm a VERY HAPPY CONSUMER...PSSSS about a month latter a lg branch fell on my new gutter I called Rudolpho and he came that morning repaired at "NO CHARGE" WOO HOOO

They did such a great job on this roof, that we got them to replace another asphalt shingle roof on another house in October. Both roofs are leak-free and looking fantastic. We highly recommend both a metal roof, and RG Roofing Specialists to install it.
Description of Work: Two layers of asphalt shingles were removed (the original roof that was 34 years old, and another layer that was probably 20 years old) and a new 24 gauge metal standing seam roof was installed. The roof is just under 2100 sqft. The underlayment, flashing, vents, etc were also replaced with new metal-compliant versions.

+ -1 moreRG Roofing installed a new shingles on a new roof that tied in to an old roof line. They also applied aluminum to a round/conical roof as well as a few shed dormers. The conical roof was a challenge and the men did a fabulous job on it. We also have a couple of old unique flat roof situations that they addressed with rubber membrane. My experience with Rodolfo (owner) has been very pleasant. He and his men are professional, respectful, and prompt. As mentioned, we have a couple of old unique roof situations that have had water intrusion issues. I have called on Rodolfo to help me and his response time has been immediate. As we have learned, the water problem is not his roofing, but another contractors mistake. Regardless, RG Roofing has gone beyond their duty, and scope of responsibility to assist the rectification of the underlying problem. I highly recommend RG Roofing as a competitively priced, and extremely professional and knowledgeable company. You cannot go wrong with RG Roofing.

He was able to give us a great price because he has his own fabrication machine and can custom make the metal panels on-site. The finished job looks wonderful. After working with two other roofing companies in Raleigh in the past, we've found our new go-to guy for roofing. Our overall experience was very good and we'd highly recommend him to others.
