+ -1 moreHe inspected it but it couldn't be repaired so he took out the hard drive and he put it into a hard drive enclosure, that way when I got the replacement computer, I was able to put everything to the new computer. The price was reasonable.

+ -1 moreI called Tom on Monday morning and he called me back just a few hours later. We had a conversation about my problem and he told me he had some time right away. I took my tower for him to look over at his home-shop. He identified the problem rather quickly and said he could probably have it done before days end and would bring it back over to my home. He also cleaned up my computer and showed me how to do some simple things to clean it up myself. He brought it back, hooked it up and made sure everything worked correctly. He was courteous, informative and very patient with all my questions. I would recommend Tom (Mac Doctor) to anyone who is having any computer issues.
Description of Work: The Mac Doctor himself, Tom, diagnosed the cause of my computer problems which included slower speed and the inability to "wake up" from sleep mode.
