Bob and Brandon did an EXCELLENT job installing the requested trim work. They worked very closely with me to ensure the installation met my expectations. The work was meticulously Very nice guys to work with. We ran into one snag about the cost but resolved immediately.

I put the job out to bid to 3 contractors. Brandon?s was the lowest bid. It was not a fixed bid but time and materials. Brandon estimated the labor. He did not use allowances for the fixtures in his estimates instead saying that I should select what I wanted and control that cost. (I liked that as the other contractors' allowances were not transparent.) Brandon buys the fixtures using his discount. So together we created the final estimate. He asked that I select all the fixtures and the materials all be ready before he started work so that the project could be as short as possible. The final cost was close to original estimate. Most of the increase came from selection of fixtures. The labor increases were all understandable?some from the tile ?matching? process and some from the electrical repairs. I was introduced to Brandon by a decorator that had worked with him for many years. One of the reasons I chose them was the decorator and Brandon?s references (which were excellent) said that they would complete the job to my satisfaction. Brandon?s subcontractors were excellent and they were very nice folks. The tile installer was very meticulous and ?matched? the grain of the pattern in the tile as I asked him. Everyone came as scheduled. The work proceeded straight through until we hit a snag with the granite. The granite guy cut the granite without allowing us to lay a template. Brandon found a new granite supplier within 2 days and we started over on the granite at no extra cost to me. If we had not had this interruption the work would have been completed in about 4 weeks. All workers came when they were scheduled. Since I work from home they honored my request to be quiet. Dropcloths were put down to cover the floors to the bathroom and each day they were taken up and the path was swept clean. In the entire project I never heard one curse word from anyone. Brandon was very likeable and easy to work with. When there were choices or problems he would explain my options and the costs so I could make an informed choice. He is also very kind and honest and said he worked with subs that he could trust to be in your home. I would highly recommend working with Brandon?s Carpentry for a renovation. This was my first renovation and the project went very smoothly.
Description of Work: Brandon’s Carpentry renovated my master bathroom. The work that was done was: repairing the leak in the master shower and replacing the rotten wood, replacing all the tile in the bathroom (shower, tub face, floor), replacing the whirlpool tub with a new one, installing granite countertops and vessels sinks, installing all new plumbing fixtures (faucets, etc.), installing a new shower door and seat and ledge, replacing the cabinet hardware, painting the cabinets and walls, installing LED can lights and a bathroom fan. There was non-bathroom work that included replacing light fixtures inside and outside the house and performing many electrical repairs that had accumulated.

We had Brandon replace several balusters and add decorative trim to our deck. He was quick to reply to our request for a quote, and performed the work shortly thereafter. We are very pleased with his work and will certainly call upon him for future projects!

Rather than building the support brackets for the side entrance roof, Brandon recommended that I purchase wooden brackets for supporting the roof. He recommended a manufacturer on line and I purchased brackets from them. They were not overly expensive and look very nice. Brandon removed and disposed of the old wood and when finished with all of the work, cleaned up the work area. Since the work was done in the Autumn, there were some weather delays but the work was completed in a timely manner. The labor and materiel charges were very reasonable and fit into my budget. Brandon is honest and doesn't cut corners but does quality work. The only thing you need to be aware of is that he does not do painting. You will need to hire a painter or do the painting yourself. This is the second time he has done work for me and I would hire him again.
Description of Work: I own a historic 109 year old home. There were three areas which needed repairs. The first was a small roof protecting a side entrance to the house which had a lot of rotted wood and was in danger of falling down. Brandon disassembled the old roof and built a new one over the side entrance. Also, there were several areas around the exterior base of the house that had rotted wood. Brandon cut away the rotted wood and installed new wood. And some of the exterior window sills were loose and out of position. Brandon reinforced the loose sills.

There were a few delays but it was not his fault. The lumber supplier did not order the lumber on time so he got a late start and since it was late in the year the weather did not cooperate. He did the work in a timely manner and I felt it was well worth the price that I paid. He did quality work and was very knowledgeable. Brandon was friendly and cordially treated me as an equal. I thought his price was a little expensive but I have not had to hire a carpenter before. He also had a couple of other things going on but he was here almost every day on time so he was very timely and professional. I will use him again in the future.
Description of Work: I used Brandon's Carpentry Service to build a wraparound porch.

He completed the work recently. He tore down the whole chimney of our two-story house. Then, he rebuilt it to the first level to accommodate a direct vent fireplace. Later, he resided the house. He built out a new chimney half way up with a roof to accommodate a direct vent fireplace. We spent $6000 on the job. We had received 3-4 bids, but his price was the best. He did a really good job. The quality of his work was excellent. He was very conscientious. He was on time and professional. We were really pleased with his work. We will definitely hire him again in the future.
Description of Work: We used Brandon Earp’s Carpentry, recently. He rebuilt our fireplace. He also worked with our mantel, so that it would fit our fireplace.
