Kenneth showed up on time and checked out my garage door and switch. He was able to tell that the switch had a nick in the wire and was able to replace it with another from his truck. This seemed to fix my immediate problem. He also identified that some of the rollers were very worn (I have no idea how old the current rollers were), so I replaced those as well. He told me that my opener is old and will need replacing at some point, but didn't put any pressure on me to do that immediately. He also noted some signs of wear on the cables that I should keep an eye on. Overall, I felt that I got a good evaluation of my garage door system (and a fix for my problem) without feeling pushed into doing unnecessary repairs or replacement. I will definitely be contacting this company again when the system (probably most or all of it is 20+ years old) starts to have more problems.

The person who came was prompt, polite and professional. When he told me my garage opener was so old it worked via springs, it was decided to just replace it. He had the new one with him and replaced it for $980.

I called them at 11:00 on a Sunday night and they showed up promptly early Monday morning. Repair work was completed quickly in two hours. He replaced both springs, bearings, central shaft, installed nylon rollers (door operated much quieter now) and lubricated all the joints. So far the door works like a charm.

Brian at All American Door did a great job and explained the new expenses I was going to incur above and beyond the $199 Angie's list deal I purchased. Unfortunately, the $199 "torsion" spring replacement was not what we needed. The spring on our garage door was a Wayne Dalton "TorqueMaster" system -- so Brian had to completely uninstall the TorqueMaster system and install a new torsion system -- which cost an additional $300, on top of the $199 Angie's list deal. So just a word of caution -- if you're garage door has a Wayne Dalton TorqueMaster spring system, you'll need to dish out extra cash to fix or replace a broken spring. I believe having Wayne Dalton repair the Torquemaster system would have been just as costly as having the system replaced with a torsion system. On the bright side -- if the springs do break in the future, it won't be as costly to repair :)

Work was done well, but Angie's member discount was not deducted from the repair service. Instead, "Angie's tune-up" was added without my consent, and that's where the Angie's discount was applied. I already had the tune-up done by the same company exactly one year ago.

It went very well, as the contractor identified some repairs my garage door needed that he could perform very quickly.

It went very well. They were on time and did a great job. Came back the next day to help me 2 problems. On was a design prolem of my trucks communication with the opener the other was a problem that was preexisting on the door. They helped me out without a charge.

He also took the time to educate me about some of the key components of the door, and told me some of the signs to watch for trouble in the future, which was really helpful. Brian was vert prompt and polite. He showed up the same day even 10 minutes before the appointment, he replaced our opener with a brand new and quiet system in half an hour. He is very professional. He also said to give him a call if we see any problem with our door opener and to come to fix if anything is wrong with the part or installation in near future.

Brian adjusted the spring, replaced the bushing rollers with bearing rollers, lubed all hinges, installed a brace for strength, and swapped the lock to the other side of the door. I can't ever recall the door being this smooth and quiet. Nice to see someone that knows what they're doing. Very cordial and professional. Highly recommended and reasonable.

It was great, he arrived on time and a little early actually, explained hte whole situation and what he was going to do and he got right to work, it took him a total of 40 minutes to get he job done. This is the second time he has done services for me.
