All American Overhead Garage Door

Well. He was prompt, courteous and professional.

Was mostly a sales pitch for new springs. Dire warnings that if I didn't replace them... Door doesn't seem any quieter or smoother that before he worked with it.

Brian was very helpful to inspect and do maintenance on an old door that came with my house purchase less than a year ago. He made suggestions for the 20 year old door. It needs an overhaul, as some parts were worn and the shaft was bent due to past installation and repairs. He gave me several options and estimates from overhaul to full replacement. In the mean time, his maintenance has the door operating better and buys me some time with the knowledge that I need to do something in the near future.

Perfect! Fast, efficient. He even taught me how to maintain the door for routine upkeep.

It went great! Brian called to let me know when he'd be here. We looked at the garage door and all its problems. He said it would easily cost $1200 due to its age and the things that were wrong. He suggested that a new door would be the best investment since that would cost around $2000. I actually was thinking of replacing the door, so we priced it out. The next week his worker was early and on his own took down the old door and put up the new one. It is beautiful, works great, is so much more quiet, and is insulated too. I'm very happy!

Thee was one work that came out and pointed out all that was needed. The repairs took about 2 1/2 day and he left my garage very clean. He even cleaned up areas of the garage that he did not mess up. He was very polite and showed up with all the equipment he needed to do the job quickly.

Everything was great; we have regular maintenance done with them each year.

Brian's inspection of the garage doors found damaged and worn parts (he always showed us the damaged/worn part compared to a new part) and he replaced those parts. There was an additional charge for the new parts but now we will not be caught with an inoperable garage door and a service call charge.

I read about Brian on Next Door and looked them up here to read reviews. I contacted them on a Sunday morning through Angie's list messaging and Brian replied within a half hour. I didn't expect such a prompt response so I didn't log back in until Monday morning. I called Brian immediately since he had needed to know by a certain time frame if a visit on Monday was okay. He was still able to schedule a technician even though it was short notice. Kenneth came, inspected the seal which indeed had been mashed flat. He couldn't guarantee that the seal was the culprit since my garage is on an incline, but thought it was a good measure to try. While he was here, I went ahead with the 25-point inspection. Since I was paying a service call fee, I decided to be proactive about the rollers and the steel spring that would need attention in the future. He never tried to up-sell me, just let me know that they would need to be considered in the future so avoid strain on the motor of my opener. It's much quieter than before servicing and it no longer slams down. We'll see what happens in the rain, but it's already a tighter seal. I have never had a garage before, so I don't know how competitive the pricing is, therefore a N/A for review. Photos below show the before and after of the roller and seal replacement.

Although I had to call when technician was late, the owner apologized and came immediately and personally did the job. He did my second door and replaced some parts not normally replaced with a tune-up, all at no cost. He was very professional and the doors are working great. I have been planning on replacing my 35+ year old doors soon and will definitely be calling them first.

I was able to choose the repairs I felt I could afford, the repairs which were most important, without being pressured into repairing and upgrading both doors fully. Refreshing !!

Kenneth was on time, professional and immedicately went to work. One of the rollers on my door was damaged and possibly others were not "rolling right". He replaced all the rollers with ones that had bearings for a smoother motion. He also lubricated everything, adjusted the downward pressure and worked on getting my car to link up with Home Link. Kenneth spent approx. an hour diagnosing the problem, installing rollers, adjusting, lubricating and making sure everything was working well. I was very pleased with the service he provided.

I got talked into replacing the rollers and the springs for one of the two doors. The door still bounces back up now and then.

The team provided exceptional service and a prompt response. The very best thing about it was (A) their super prompt response on a weekend and (B) their willingness to come out on the weekend and fix everything. They also had all of the tools and parts on hand so I was able to get additional things done that I didn't plan on. I would both recommend them and use them again.
