Excellent. He returned my call the same day. Then he came out to give an estimate the following Monday, and then did the work that week. He was clear about our cost options--we opted for the pricier steel door with better insulation. We'd already purchased the garage door opener; he did a nice installation job. He was informative and patient and really was a pleasure to work with.

I sent Brian an email through Angie's List and he promptly called and scheduled to come by a few hours later. He explained the system I had and my options for repair and/or replacement. I chose to replace and he promptly completed the installation. He was very professional and cleaned up behind himself. He showed me how to work the new unit, helped me program my remotes and keypad. He made sure to let me know that if I had any questions after he left, I could call him. I will certainly recommend him to anyone who needs garage door repair or replacement.

I'll never have to worry about choosing a garage door company. I had used 2 others before, but the responsiveness and quality of service was lacking. Brian was completely different. He returned phone calls and texts very quickly, even nights and weekends. When I told him I was considering replacing the current openers because they were loud and we had a baby on the way....he completely understood as he had gone through the same experience! He gave me very good recommendations on what I needed and didn't need. He didn't try to oversell and, in fact, told me a less expensive unit would in fact be better for what we needed. At the time Brian didn't have many recommendations on Angie's List, and I rely almost exclusively on Angie's List to have anything done around the house, but the few reviews he had were positive. I rarely write extensive reviews but feel very strongly about the quality and professionalism Brian exhibited. When I decided what I wanted to do on a Sunday afternoon about 4pm....Brian was there at 5pm and stayed until at least 8pm getting everything done so that we could get it done when we were home. I can't imagine a more thorough or professional garage door company than Brian's. Just call him and see for yourself.

Did a great job of explaining as well as showing what the issues were with the door. Fast and thorough service.

It went very well. When I called him he happened to be in Raleigh between jobs so he came right over. It was a bit difficult to get the lock in the door so that the lock was stable (because of the material that the door is made of) but he did a bit of improvising and got the job done. He would not accept a payment until I was completely satisfied with the lock. Brian is polite and really wants to make sure that the customer is satisfied which I was. I would definitely use him again.

Informative and nice gentleman, but was a little too pushy in trying to sell us a whole new system (excluding door). He showed us that he had all the materials on his truck at the time and could do it immediately, but we declined. He did call ahead and ask to come early, which was really more convenient for us, so it worked out well in that regard.

I had just recently moved in to my house and noticed that the garage door was not running smoothly and I wanted to have someone look at it to see if there was an issue or if it needed adjusting. The technician evaluated the door and immediately noticed several problems...the biggest was that the way the existing opener was connected to my door was creating a crack in the door. Also the Wayne Dalton unit I had was jerking the door up and not pulling smoothly. Finally the springs were shot and the door was out of balance as it would slam to the ground when unhooked from the opener. Decided to replace the unit and springs with a Liftmaster which is amazingly quiet and features an app so that the door can be controlled remotely...Love it. I found my experience with All American Overhead Door to be awesome. There was absolutely no pressure to upsell me...he was very willing to repair if that is what I wanted...I decided to go with a new unit. It took about 90 minutes to do the job...super quick.

Owner promptly notified me following purchase of Angie's List deal and was flexible with scheduling an appointment. He called prior to arrival and was on time. He pointed out a frayed cable and recommended replacing the cable. He pointed out condition of bottom corners of door and explained implications of poor condition and shared pictures of potential outcome. We discussed purchase and pricing of a new door. Owner performed services as advertised and was respectful and knowledgeable. I would recommend and use this company again.
