All American Overhead Garage Door

We have had our garage door for 5 years. No problems/no maintenance. We took advantage of the Angie's List deal to have it checked out. The appt was at 10 am. Brian, the owner, called at 9am to find out if they could come earlier. We had to decline that offer. No problem. They showed up promptly at 10am. Since we had received such a 'deal', we fully expected a sales pitch. That didn't happen. Brian and his assistant performed the requested service. The garage door is much quieter now as it hadn't had any maintenance in five years and was very squeaky. Brian suggested we might want to have the plastic rollers replaced with ball-bearing rollers in order to not put undue stress on the motor and suggested we might want to replace the springs. The only negative was that we agreed they could put a company 'sticker' beside the garage door opener. It shouldn't have been put on a painted wall. When I tried to move it, the paint went with it. We will likely have the rollers and springs replaced in the near future and will have All American Overhead Garage Door do the work. They might need to do some painting repair as well! :-)

Brian called 30 minutes prior to arriving, arrived on time and was very friendly. He explained the process and performed the tasks in a timely manner. Brian also replaced a non-working keypad for me and gave me tips that I could do myself to keep my garage doors operating smoothly. Great experience overall!

I was told that Brian would be at my house between 12:00 and 2:00. I was very happy that he arrived before 12:30 and completed the work within the hour. During the tuneup/inspection, he discovered the reason for the cracking sound that we were hearing and replaced the spring. Brian was very personable. Brian showed up right on time and did a great job fixing our garage door opener (which was not closing consistently). While there, he pointed out problems with the mechanical parts of the door (over 20 years old) and convinced us to replace and upgrade the mechanical parts. The garage door is now working much better than it has in a long time.

Our garage door would only open a few feet before shutting. It was about 6 pm on a Thursday night and he came over around 7 pm. He quickly diagnosed the problem and said we needed to get the springs replaced, which we did. He had additional recommendations on how to fix our 20 year old garage door but we chose not to do it. We appreciate how quick, friendly, and professional he was. I hope the garage door does not break again, but if it does, we are calling him again.

Brian was very professional. Was actually going to come out Friday night when door failed , just to get my wife's car out of garage. Not sure many would offer to do this.

Brian was absolutely fantastic. Very informative and thorough, as well as prompt, communicative, professional, and incredibly friendly and nice. I highly recommend All American and will definitely be having them back to replace our garage door soon.

Brian arrived on time and was very professional and friendly. He checked the overall function of the door and made recommendations to prevent future damage. Lubricated the hinges and rollers and springs. Checked the balance of the door and recommended larger springs to better balance the door - basically the motor is working harder at the beginning of the lift since the door was not properly balance when initially installed. Door was only 5 years old. Good visit overall.

Brian was prompt, courteous, neat, and friendly. He had a helpful attitude and was patient in explaining the door mechanisms. He pointed out what we could do in the future to upgrade our system, then performed the tune-ups and replaced the sensors that were not working properly on one door. We felt very satisfied with his service.

I was very impressed. Brian had an opening the same week I called for service. He was on-time and was not pushy to sell lots of unneeded parts or services. He took the time to explain a lot of things including why 2 springs are needed for a 2 car garage door (needed for the extra weight so that motor does not work too hard). The door is very quiet now and has no problem shutting since the service. I would recommend Brian for anyone needing garage door install or repair.

Brian is great! I wish everyone that I worked with was as friendly, punctual, and professional as he is. He scheduled the service the next day, provided an arrival window, and actually called ahead to let me know he could come early if that worked for me. He was super friendly, trust worthy, and very knowledgeable about the garage doors, repairs, best practices, etc. I would use him again without question and want to shout his praises from the roof tops after recently working with other non professionals. Nice and on time. Tune up as promised. Garage door runs much, much quieter and hast not "ghost stopped" since tune up

Very pleasant young gentleman. I wanted a tuneup, bought a tuneup, and he provided a tuneup. Absolutely no pressure to purchase additional services, which I very much appreciated. But I did inquire about, and he happily provided, information re: the cost of spring/roller replacement, since all garage doors eventually need it. I will definitely be calling him when that time comes for me.

Brian was right on time. He educated me about the features of my garage door and what will need to be repaired in the future (how to recognize problems, what will need to be done to repair and cost of potential repairs). He adjusted and lubricated the door and left me reassured about its current condition.

I purchased this as a "deal saver" through Angie's List and was very pleased. I would hire All American in the future for any needed garage door/door opener work I need done.

Very responsive in setting up an appointment, I was pleased to find they could come on MLK day since I was already off. They called about 15 minutes prior to arrival to let me know they were on their way, and showed up at the beginning of the service window. They did review of everything, lubricated what needed it, pointed out a couple of minor things to consider addressing, but there was no pressure that it had to be done right then, nor pressure that it had to be done by them. Very nice and refreshing. Explained everything they did, and if/when we address the issues pointed out we will most likely use them.

It went perfectly. He was very punctual, even early. Called to let me know he was on his way. Performed the entire service and explanation in less than one hour. He gave me lots of helpful hints, too. I will definitely use his service again.

He didn't really do a lot of work. All he did was spray some lubricant on the tracks and it made the garage door quieter. Next time I purchase a deal on Angie's List, I am going to be more specific with what I am asking for. He was very polite and punctual, but I feel like he spent more time trying to upsell me than actually giving my garage door a tune up.
