Outstanding job!! After requesting an estimate, my phone rang less than five minutes later and Solomon arrived to my home less than an hour after that. After providing a very reasonable estimate we agreed on the day the work should be completed. They arrived on time and completed the work in less time than estimated. They cut down three large trees on my property that posed and immediate threat to my home. I will be calling them back to handle more trees. Would definitely recommend.

I hired A&J Segovia Tree Services to remove a few trees, limb up a few others, and pull up a few bushes. They handled it all in about five hours. I've used A&J Segovia Tree Services multiple times now, and I've been happy every time. Salomon is easy to communicate and work with, they do good work, they take care around other structures, and they clean up well after the job is done. I'll use them again in the future, no question.

Segovia Tree Service did a great job removing trees from my yard. They showed up as scheduled and completed the work in one day. Highly recommend them for anyone needing tree removal service. Mr. Segovia was very friendly and professional.

We had contacted numerous companies about having trees removed from around the house because the root systems were tearing up our foundation. Mr. Segovia answered the call, came right out to provide an estimate, and started within 2 weeks. They not only removed and ground the stumps of 15 trees, but they cleaned up so well afterward that you couldn't tell they had been here (except for the missing trees! They provided an estimate to removed the roots, plant grass seed, and mulch around the house. However, we had decided that we could do that ourselves. That is, until we tried it! We called them back and took their offer to do the front yard for us. They arrived on time on our scheduled day, reviewed what we wanted done, and set to work. They spent all day and when they finished, the yard looked amazing, and they cleaned up so well that even the street where the mulch had originally been dumped was clean! We highly recommend A & J Segovia for tree removal and for subsequent lawn replacement!

Removed a tree that had spilt in half. The other half fell on my house and my insurance company sent someone else out to remove it from the house. That company left it sitting in the yard When it came time to his someone to take down the tree I checked Arbormax who quoted us a price that seemed agreeable. I returned their email and said that I was interested in having them do the work. Never received a response, so I emailed a second time.... Then a third. No responses. I eventually got a phone call from them. They said that my emails sent to their junk folder. So that brought us to Segovia Tree Service. They were amazing. Took them about 2 hours. They grinded the stump down and everything. They cleaned up everything, made our yard look 10x better than it did before they got there. True professionals who were super responsive, showed up when they said they would. Did the work that they said they were going to do. Truly a joy to work with. I will use them again in the future!

It did not go well. Approximately a day and a half was estimated for the job. It was agreed that work would commence on a Friday when someone would be available to oversee the implementation of the project; at the last moment Mr. Segovia wanted to start a day earlier (Thursday) which was certainly inconvenient ? we are working professionals. However, we agreed since he would start on the front yard and driveway where a tree had fallen earlier and needed to be cleared. On day one (Thursday) he and his crew did indeed start on the front yard and succeeded in removing a number of trees including two or three large ones that were not scheduled for removal, plus almost totally destroying our gravel driveway with his trucks and heavy equipment with caterpillar tracks (they did spread some new gravel at our request but it was not enough and our driveway still requires repaving). In addition they damaged two trees that were not on his list for removal. On day three ? now Saturday - Mr. Segovia came to our home and requested payment for the work already done in the front yard even though the contract specified that payment would be made upon completion of the project, including clean up. He was adamant that we pay $2000 immediately if we wanted him to remove the trees in the back yard. We reluctantly acceded to his demand and arranged for a date to return. They returned later to complete the signed contract in order to remove three large trees in our back yard that were diseased and in danger of falling, plus some smaller trees that needed trimming or removal. It turned out that there was rain during the night that precluded them working on that day. We agreed that they would return when dryer conditions prevailed. Due to mutual conflicts and wet weather in our area, nothing was possible until Friday July 31 when we had scheduled completion of the tree removals. He did not show up. There was no phone call from him to cancel. When finally contacted there was no apology for the inconvenience and he followed with a series of lame excuses that he ?wasn?t able to make it today? (not saying why!) and then he ?had lost our phone numbers? ? and finally that he wanted paying the total remaining contracted fee upfront before proceeding with the work. The contract explicitly says that the full amount shall be paid upon completion of the work and cleanup. Nevertheless we have not, and will not proceed with any further dealings with this company and certainly will not recommend them to anyone, especially Angies List members.

He is very good and is supposed He does not try to sell me anything. He listens to me and gives me advice on what my concerns are. He tells me what he would do if he owned the house himself and he gives me several different scenarios so that I can pick a scenario that fits my budget. I am looking for someone to look around my house and give me advice. He is the first guy I have used who is not trashing me for estimates and gives me advice on what will happen if I do certain things. That is why I like this guy. This guy is great.

I saw A & J Segovia Trees Services taking trees out for my neighbor across the street. The Team was working together and helping each other. They raked the lawn and sweep the drive way and street. I approached Salomon and he gave me a quote on the spot, I didn't have to wait. We scheduled a time right then. I checked Angie's List to see if others had done a review of the company. Watching these guys work as a team was great. A few neighbors joined in and watch and we comment they should charge admissions. How they went up the trees with ease, was like walking for you and me. When the tree topper (the one that climbed the tree this time). Started cutting branched they didn't fall like you would expect them to fall it was more like gliding down. They had full control. Then the hard part or so I thought cutting small section of the truck and dropping them in the area as to do no damage to the area. These guys know what they are doing. Nobody was at risk and cleaned the area as they worked. The only regret I have is I didn?t think of recording the work they did. GREAT JOB Salomon Segovia, I look forward to the next time I need trees trimmed or removed. A little note about me, I don?t give recommendations very often. If you don?t use guy?s, it is your loss. How they do such a wonderful job in such a timely manner is remarkable. I was worried about my roof, since most of the large limbs were above it. They had no mishaps, and cleaned and hauled everthing away. You cannot even tell they have been there. You can probably get many estamates. But I do NOT believe you will get one lower than Salomon Segovia's. I would highly recommend them to everyone. Ronald C. Bell

This is a highly professional team of tree experts. Their work is acrobatic and professional. Before they depart, they clean up the area impeccably. They arrive on time and are consistently pleasant.

I have used A&J Segovia in the past and they continue to impress me with their strong work ethic, efficiency, skill, and 'get it done' attitude. Soloman came by on Wednesday to quote the work, and he said that they could likely start Friday afternoon. On Friday, they pulled up around 1pm and finished up around 4:30pm. 3 guys were working the job most of the time. The crew are all very courteous, and they take great pains to not disturb your grass areas any more than possible. They are VERY skilled with the use of the bobcat and they minimize the time on job and time spent cleaning up by using it so efficiently. Another great job by Soloman and team. I am really suprised that I don't see them written up more here on AL.

I was VERY happy with the work from this company. They came recommended from a neighbor and I am more than pleased with their work. One of my pine trees was about 60' high and had broken off and hung up in a tulip poplar. This tree was very close to the house and I was concerned about getting it down with no damage to the house since it was dead and somewhat brittle (unpredictable). The company tied the tree off in two places and cut it down in sections in a very precision manner. My other concern was that they not damage my lawn since I have a good stand of fescue growing right now. Once again, they came through with flying colors! The precision work that they did resulted in only a few limbs landing on the lawn which were removed by hand. All the big stuff (trunks, etc) was felled either in the natural area or lowered slowly by rope during cutting and picked up by their Bobcat before it hit the lawn. Great work and I have already contracted them for a second job!
