Tony is a very nice and personable guy. He did two jobs well for me several years ago. But, the third job last year, for which I paid top dollar, went poorly in many ways. The situation: For Tony’s convenience, I rescheduled the job one day earlier, even though I had a schedule conflict and knew I would have to leave before he finished. I trusted him enough, based on past experience, to pay in full when I left early. He looked me in the eye and promised “he wouldn’t leave me hanging” as I handed him a check. Well, he did (read on). When I returned, I found a butchered pine tree and many trimmings not cut to length and properly stacked on the roadside as he had agreed. Also, several agreed-to trees were not trimmed at all. I called Tony, who came back a few days later. He listened to my concerns, then agreed to return and finish the untrimmed trees when weather permitted and he could work this into his schedule. Weeks passed, with my calling him every week, only to be given reasons for the delays and a promise of “soon.” I finally realized it was never going to happen and stopped wasting my time. I left a final message to this effect. Tony is hard working and will do his best to please you and follow your wishes. That said, I suggest you be with him until the entire job is finished, and make full payment only when the agreed-to work has been completed to your satisfaction.

Tony came the day we called him. He felled several trees for us by himself. It took him less than two hours to complete the job. He does not haul off the trees, but does cut them into smaller pieces to cut up or dispose of yourself. He is highly skilled and knows what he's doing.
Description of Work: Tony examined the trees that needed to be felled. He climbed up each tree and chopped it down by top branches first and then the trunk by smaller pieces. If needed, he cut them into smaller pieces while on the ground.
