The work went great -- very quick and professional crew, just as before! Richards Construction replaced our roof a couple of years ago and they did such a great job we wanted them to do the repair when a tree fell on it in late December, also damaging our deck. Jeremiah provided an estimate and the crew showed up within the projected time range he had given us to do the work. They arrived early and worked efficiently through very cold weather to complete the repair work just as we requested it. We will definitely call Richards Construction again for roofing and other projects.

i paid this company for a brand new metal roof and my bathroom started leaking water through the roof about a year later. i tried several times to get them back out here to fix the issue but no success .i was told i have a 5 year warranty on the work that they do . they even had me buy the materials to fix the issue and told me they would be here to do the work , and they still did not show up. i am getting quotes from other roofers for over 1000 dollars to fix the leak that should have been taken care of when the roof was put on.

Caulked area around vent pipe. Said that roof was in bad shape and needed replacement or expensive repair. Other roofer came and said that further work was not needed for 5-10 years

like a well oiled machine, top crew and the owner checked in on the work each day until completed. I'm Retired and had the time to watch the work being done. There were no short cuts with these men!

Our old roof was leaking and had moss growing on it. Richard's construction did a fantastic job sealing areas that were leaking and corrected a builder errors in the original construction which created risk for water damage inside the house. The also vented the roof which was not done in the original construction of the house. The team from start to finish were incredibly respectful and accommodating. They were the best price as others wanted $8-10K more for the same work. We plan on using this company again in the future for deck and other remodeling and highly recommend them to others.

He showed up on time. He estimated the work would take 2.5 days and he was finished in 2 days. He cleared the area of any debris and nails. Overall the experience was an excellent one and the roof looks very good. I would use the company again. Plus I like the fact that they are local (here in Weaverville, NC).

They did a fine job on the roof. However, they left hundreds of nails which I have been continually cleaning up. Every time it rains, I get a pile of nails in my driveway. and walkways around the house. I have stepped on them and pulled a couple out of my truck tire after pulling into my driveway just in time to prevent it from puncturing the tire by driving on it. I have told visitors to park in the street so they don't risk getting a flat. I am constantly on "nail watch" every time I go out. This is still happening two months after the job was done. Today, I discovered a flat tire from one of their nails from pulling my car into the garage the other night. It is a brand new tire, it cost me a whole day of business not to mention the aggravation and the cost of the repair. Just today, while waiting for assistance, I picked up three more nails that had washed off the roof into my driveway just in front of my garage which would probably have caused another flat. I don't expect them to find every nail but they were more consumed with finding the nails in the bushes rather the ones on the roof, or in the gutters that would actually cause a problem. Also, as an additional request, which I paid the workers for, I asked them to fix a gutter that was leaking. I ran to the store and bought a new gutter and they installed it. It was installed in a way that made it worse than the original gutter. The new gutter was placed Under the existing gutter so it acted like a water spout. I have spent many hours on a ladder trying to fix it. When I called and asked for it to be corrected, I was told that it wasn't part of the original job and was reluctantly told that someone would come out to take care of it. That was over a month ago, before the heavy rains, and I still haven't heard from anyone. Which is why I am writing this review. The guys who did the work were professional and polite. It just seems that there was a serious lack of attention to detail on the clean-up and I am concerned that if there ever is a problem with the roof, I won't be able to get any help.

They came out several months ago. It might have been the beginning of July. We had them do some other work above and beyond and was paid for the work above and beyond the package. It got to the point where I just had to say maybe it would be easier for you to return our money because they didn't respond to calls, they didn't with voice mails, emails, none of it. No they weren't punctual, they were no call no show for many hours. He was hours and hours late. He did show up on the day that he said he was coming.

Jeremiah was professional and empathetic throughout. The crew was courteous and careful with the building and the landscaping, cleaning up at the end of each day. We would definitely call on them again.

Excellent experience. Jeremiah and crew were punctual and efficient. These guys have a lot of experience; they really know what they're doing. Fixed several other issues while they were here (rotted soffit, gutter drainage problem on deck roof). They work extremely hard and care that the work is done correctly and to your satisfaction. Would use them again; have recommended them to neighbors.

Richards construction's crew was a most pleasant experience! The crew worked fast, experienced, professional, and in a great team spirit, punctuality granted. Everyone seemed to know his job and worked hand in hand with the others. (Never any iddling, and they never seemed to need any instructions from the experienced foreman, Keith.) All in the crew are very friendly and naturally polite. They answered all questions I had and also discussed some additional problems they found on my roof and integrated fixing them in their ongoing work. These professionals worked quiet and courteous, careful not to disturb my daily routine, friendly with my notoriously barking dog, and avoiding any damage in the yard. They cleaned up every evening and again when they had finished the job. Though the ground was soaked and muddy, they didn't leave a footstep or nail. Even some trash from the yard was collected and put in its place! Jeremiah, the owner, stopped by frequently to check on the progress and make sure, I was happy with everything. He and his team are enthusiastic professionals, giving you the feeling, a perfect roof is their only concern and goal. I will re-hire this company for any future need without looking any further!

Jeremiah was responsive, prompt, thorough, and professional. He identified and repaired items that needed repair. We'll definitely engage him again for further roofing needs.

Overall a very good experience. Craftsmanship is great and Jeremiah & William are very pleasant to deal with. Both are open to hearing what you have to say and are great in explaining what needs to be done as well as answering questions. A great crew indeed.

My husband and I are extremely happy with the results of our finished basement. Before the crew even started they covered our newly painted floors and hung up plastic to keep the dust at a minimum. The crew was very informative of what and how they were going to proceed and also wanted our input of what we wanted. We worked well together with them. They also made sure after every step they finished we were happy with the results. They left the basement very clean and took all scrap materials away. We can't say enough of how impressed we are with their work ethics. I would hire them again in a minute and plan on using them in the future!!

We asked them to come look at the roof. They made some repairs - it stopped leaking. They also told us which part of the roof needed replacing and which could wait. We appreciated that and will (soon, actually) to replace the part that needed it now (then).

Jeremiah was able to jump on the problem quickly since my house was in escrow, and having the repairs completed was key for the closing. I was so impressed with his courtesy, and the professionalism and skill of his team. I would definitely hire him again, and highly recommend him to anyone needing a repair done quickly and well.

Jerimiah (the owner,) is not only a licensed contractor but an EXCELLENT roofer. Jerimiah, his brother William and their crew were absolutely incredible with putting a completely new roof on our home. They had to deal with pouring rain, a hornets nest, a VERY steep roof line, and my changing my mind (several times!) about the color and size of the flashing. Not only were they professional, but they were some of the nicest and most accommodating builders I've ever dealt with. Jerimiah also put up a fantastic leaf guard that looks great! I never write reviews; I just never take the time. But in this case I just had to write a review because Richard's Construction was wonderful to work with and I will certainly call them in the future for any other work on our home. Oh, and their prices are extremely fair and reasonable.
