Description of Work: I called to arrange moving my upright piano from my second floor apartment to a third-floor condo (no elevator) across town. They told me they couldn't do it; they don't do stairs. This seems a very strange limitation to their services. I'm not sure how you bill yourself as a piano mover, but can't move a piano up or down stairs.

Description of Work: The tuner was on time. He electronically tuned the piano twice. We discussed some overtone difficulties, which he attempted to resolve. After some discussion, we decided that the sound was characteristic of the piano and could not be "tuned away." He was highly professional and delayed his next appointment to fully tune the instrument. The piano has retained its tuning for a good 10 days, which is unusual after such a long time between tunings.

Description of Work: Complete refurbishment of 108 yr old Upright Grand Piano - external finish and internal works (new strings, felt hammers and related moving parts for each key). Extensive rework overall. Pickup and delivery of finished piano.||Excellent service, professional and prompt. Cost estimate was reasonable for extensive amount of service needed, and was accurate for total job. Only one minor addition added (after pre-approval by me). Totally satisfied with the reworked piano. Original time estimate of just under 7 months - returned a couple weeks ahead of time.||No "approximate cost" provided because every such contract would be unique and the cost will vary dramatically depending on the nature and extent of repairs needed and/or requested. I was very satisfied with the contract price quoted for my piano, and the professional quality of the services provided.|

Description of Work: He tuned my piano that had been neglected for several years. He did a great job and was very pleasant to have in my home. I am sorry I don't remember what the charge was but it was competitive with others and a good value

Description of Work: Moved my large Steinway grand piano from one home to another, including getting it down one interior flight of stairs. Handled it all very well. I will use them in the future for piano tuning, etc.

The movers arrived on time and were professional. They were very careful with the loading and transport of an upright piano. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

Description of Work: We purchased a refurbished Yamaha U3. We had a huge snow which delayed delivery. They were determined to deliver in time for Christmas especially since they knew it was a surprise for our daughter. Everyone we worked with were very professional and responsive. The service included a free tuning which was completed on May 10, 2010. This piano is beautiful and has the most extraordinary sound. I would definitely recommend this local company.
