Dan just completed a second project at our home because he had done such an amazing job on our kitchen remodel in 2016. This time we did a major renovation impacting all rooms: new windows, skylights, tongue and groove ceilings, new large deck and screened porch, removal of popcorn ceilings, redesign and upgrade of master bathroom and closets, creating studio space in garage, refinishing all wood floors, installing new stairs, and more! There were the predictable supply chain shortages, but the quality of Dan's work made those delays well worth it. Dan's integrity and professionalism made the entire project a positive experience. He takes such pride in his work, he even corrected imperfections that we hadn't noticed. We wholeheartedly recommend him!

Dan and his employees are great. Talented, hard-working, reliable, and they care about the details. The remodel project required a 20' steel beam to support a load-bearing wall. No problem for Dan. We couldn't be more pleased with the final result. The four-month project came in on time and on budget. If you have an opportunity to hire Dan Brown, do it.

db, Inc. turned the front porch in our 100-year-old home near downtown Asheville into a sun-room or all-seasons room. We are thrilled with the result and with how efficiently it was done. Dan provided solid advice throughout, kept costs down and did a lot of the work himself. Dan is an excellent craftsman and hires competent and efficient subs for flooring, sheet-rock, painting, electrical, etc. We highly recommend db Inc.

I did a complete remodel of a 1985 kitchen with a lot of angles to consider and wall that needed to be moved. In addition, I had hardwood installed throughout the house. The results were really beautiful and transformed the entire house. The craftsmanship of the contractor and all subs was exceptional. I was pleased that the contractor was very responsive and easy to reach. He also brought the project in under budget and on time. I would definitely hire again.

Working with Dan was awesome! This was our first project and it was a big one; a historic home remodel and update. Everything down to the last detail was taken into consideration by Dan and was done with the highest craftsmanship I have ever seen. He took an old drab house and made it come alive again. It was well worth the cost to have DB do the job. No corners were cut, ideas were provided when requested and the job got done on time. We were very scared to go through this stressful and time consuming process but because of DB it was as easy as it could have been and much less stressful. The subcontractors are wonderful and everyone was so much fun to work with.

Daniel is very professional and extremely talented. He had to come in and fix work that was done poorly by a previous contractor. He did an excellent job. Crown molding, fireplaces, built a library, bathroom renovation, stair railing and balusters, etc. It was a big project and he managed the whole thing very well and did a lot of the work himself. I would hire him for any project again.

I contracted with Dan to manage the entire kitchen project which entailed working with different tradesmen to get the job done. He was reliable, trustworthy, skilled and customer oriented. It was great to have him take charge and get the job done. He also performed decorative woodworking tasks demonstrating skill and creativity.

Daniel was the 3rd contractor that we hired...so he had to go in and fix a bunch of things the others messed up. He is incredibly professional, extremely talented, easy to work with, trust worthy, has great ideas and taste. I just can not say enough good things about him. His work is impeccable. We had bathrooms redone, dry wall, stair case, library, fireplaces redone and mantles made, crown molding, base boards, chair rail and painting. He can handle anything in my book and he manages his subs very well. Just can't be happier.

Dan is an honest person to work with on a project. He was professional and kept us updated on the progress. We didn't live at the home and we felt comfortable leaving Dan to do the work without us there. The project involved finishing a basement. Work was done in a timely manner and to our satisfaction. We would use him again on anther project without doubt.

We've done a number of renovations over the 30+ years that we've lived in our home, but working with Dan surpassed all other experiences with contractors! We did a complete re-do of our kitchen, including removing everything down to the studs, moving a wall, adding an island, etc. Dan's professionalism was stellar, in that he provided a detailed estimate and communicated immediately if any changes were made as the project progressed. He was punctual and reliable, and he insisted that his sub-contractors be the same. He understood building codes and worked well with building inspectors. When faced with a very complicated structural issue, he worked patiently for many days with a structural engineer until they resolved the problem together. Dan's sense of humor and competence made him a pleasure to work with, and we liked him more by the end of the project than when we first met. We will be hiring him again if we do any more projects and we highly recommend him to anyone who wants high quality, reasonably-priced work done on their home!

Mr Brown was very polite and friendly. He went above and beyond on installing my door. After the install he bought the correct door insulation and installed it for me. I had others look at the door and tell me it couldn't be done or they just never showed up. He showed up on time and my door looks awesome. There is no doubt if I ever have another project he will be the one I call.

Dan is great to work with, reliable and I trust him implicitly. Excellent finished product, he built an attached garage for us and it looks as though it has always been part of the house. As a retired Plumbing Contractor, I have been on many jobs with many Contractors, and Dan Brown is as good as it gets. If he is busy, wait for him, you won't be disappointed.

Dan is a very hardworking and is extremely proficient. He was easy to communicate with and very knowledgeable. We remodeled our 1980's house and he did a fantastic job on it. We couldn't be more pleased in the outcome and I think the equity gained far exceeds the cost of the job. If you think dealing with contractors can be as daunting as buying an automobile from a Used Car Salesman, Dan is your guy! He is friendly, patient, caring and honest. Being a first time home buyer Dan was great to work with, he was very courteous and knowledgeable. Any questions or concerns he answered. His prices were just as great as his work. Any future work I will definitely call him first. Thank You Dan!

Dan handled our remodel while we lived in another state and we did not see the finished product until we moved 2 months later. We often told Dan to just make a decision for us as we trusted his opinion and judgment . There were some mistakes made with the ordering, but that was our error, and Dan was able to take care of any problems. We feel as though we have gained a new friend and also have a beautiful home!

Very pleased with the quality of his work. Completed my addition in a timely manner and left the area clean. Looks beautiful and I will definitely use dbinc for my next project.
