+ 0 moreI've wandered through many Yuks with home repair and improvement. Villazon Plumbing, Inc. has been absolutely the best experience I've had in a long time.. My 40+ year old plumbing has been repaired/redone in pieces rather than as a whole project. Other plumbers have been distant and self serving. Villazon's repairman was personable. He stayed on task and did an exceptional job. And, most unexpectedly came under estimate. This was a totally positive service in every way.
Description of Work: I had a leak under my tub in the basement. It required a great deal of redoing and patching between old pipes with more current pipes.

+ -1 moreThey were prompt and finished within 2 days. They reseeded entire yard and were careful to put as many bushes as they could back. After it was completed, I had to call them to have them return and fix the sidewalk where they put the section back in backward and dipped. However, the owner came out quickly and had it fixed the next day. I highly recommend Villazon. I just wish I had called them first!!

+ -1 moreVillazon plumber (Mike) said it was not a pipe leaking ( after looking at plumbing in the wall) and said it was the door allowing water to seep outside shower and ruin nearby dry wall. He suggested the shower was improperly installed. It is still leaking after using silicon so I will have to have shower itself repaired..

When the work was completed the areas dug up were reseeded with new grass seed and covered with straw, erosion barriers installed and all debris carried away...our yard looked better after they left than before they began the work :-)
Description of Work: We are so thankful that the previous owner of the vacation home we bought in March 2014 suggested we continue to use Villazon Plumbing for any necessary plumbing at our home in Waynesville. Our first meeting with Mike was to winterize the home and since that time Mike has worked with us on numerous plumbing needs. Last year he worked along with a local contractor he recommended to us to turn the house into one that is available all year long by insulating all pipes under the house and reworking some pipes so they were not so exposed to the elements & potential freezing during winters. Mike is always prompt to reply, is exceedingly pleasant and very professional. The cost of the job listed above was for replacing our water and sewer lines. The house was built in 1955 and it turned out to be a spider's web of lines and required the tenacity of a detective to find where the original lines connected to the later installed City of Waynesville water & sewer lines. Mike and his team persisted and worked the solution out that would be best for us not only in the short term but also assisted us in making a longer term plan as our budget allows. It was a budget buster but not unfair....just not something you want to do very often. We are certain with the quality work Michael and his team provided we will be good to go for many years to come. I just wish every service provider could be a clone of Michael Villazon! You will not be disappointed if you choose Villazon Plumbing

+ -1 moreWe have a 1/2and quot; line coming into the house. Mike tried a new pressure regulator for a 3/4and quot; line before just putting in a new line.The new ppressure regulator worked. We have lost of pressure now. Tested with 2 sinks 2 commode s and the shower. Pressure remained constant. The regulator was much faster and cheaper than the new service. Very happy with service and referred Mike to family members when they did need a new service into the house.
Description of Work: We had low water pressure coming into house. Tried to determine if a pressure regulator or new service was needed.

He is an amazingly personable young man and is extremely professional, methodical and efficient in his approach to diagnosing problems and my husband and I were very impressed with Mike's knowledge base. Although part of our problem needs to be addressed by a different kind of business, he was instrumental in referring us to the appropriate person within that other company. + -1 moreThe work that the owner, Mr. Villazon, himself did was successful and adequate, however, the last connection made by his crew connecting the new piping to the good portion of other piping leading to home was not sealed correctly causing a leak that led to me losing some additional water expenses and a tenant to move out for a couple of days. Mr. Villazon had to personally attend to it, which he did. I would use him again, him being the key word and solely him. I had to find someone else to dig the ditch and holes, which was a bit difficult since I was not living at that home (rental) and causing a further delay.
Description of Work: The owner himself Mr. Villazon was and is an excellent individual, very professional and courteous. He was very cooperative. Had a water leak between city meter and the home. The leak was in a difficult location and on a slope behind the home not easily traversed. The piping was rerouted (replaced).

Description of Work: I called Mike Villazon when my 25-year-old hot water heater no longer was heating the water. I picked him because of his Angie's List reputation and the fact that he was nearby. I was pretty certain I would end up having to replace the tank because of its age. He checked out the unit and said all I needed was to replace the thermostat and that the heating element was still good.

Analyzed problem with leaking faucet (custom piece with hard-to-find parts) and suggested replacement. Mike was always on time, very professional, and very knowledgeable. + -1 moreHe succeeded in clearing the line, told me to be careful putting things in disposal because I have an old house with sagging pipes underneath. He did not clean up, left wet towels on wood floors, and charged me for 1 1/4 hours when he was here no more than 1 hour at most at $75/hour plus parts. This was the second time I used him. He is prompt and solves the problem, but watch his time spent.
Description of Work: Water line from kitchen sink and disposal was clogged. Mike Villazon came approx. when he said he would, spent some time using plumber's friend on disposal, then cleared line where it met sewer with automated snake.

+ -1 moreMr. Villazon arrived on Monday the 11th at 9:20am. He had called me and asked if it would be ok if he could come earlier than our scheduled appointment of 10:00am and I told him yes that would be fine. He started working on the leaky faucet immediately. After about 45 minutes it was realized that the valve stem was not coming loose. He had tried extremely hard to get it off. So, the alternative was to go in the back way and replace the whole assembly. Mr. Villazon gave me an estimate for the work including parts and labor. I agreed and the work was scheduled for Wednesday the 13th around 11:00am. Michael showed up early at 10:30am and began to work. The work was completed in about 90 minutes. He did a fantastic job and the cost was well under the estimate. I would, without hesitation,call Michael Villazon for whatever my plumbing needs are again. We had conversations the whole time while he was working and he is a very nice guy.
Description of Work: Faucet leaking from bathtub. Replaced valve assembly with new faucet and shower head.
