Description of Work: I hired KP Paving to repave the drive at my business in Maggie Valley. They quoted me $6,600 and I accepted the bid. Per the terms of the contract, they were supposed to lay the asphalt 2" thick and compact it 1-1/2" thick. I paid them in full. A little over one year later my driveway is cracking apart and lifting. To my surprise, they laid the asphalt less than 1/4" thick which is not even up to proper code. I called them to have them rectify the matter and they used explicit language and hung up on me. They refused to do anything for me. I am currently suing them in Haywood County Court and have filed a complaint with the North Carolina Attorney General's Consumer Complaint Division. This is a terrible company and I highly suggest you NEVER EVER HIRE THEM as they are very dishonest.

In addition, they were very accommodating on our needs and making suggestions on how to address our concerns. Everyone was both helpful and friendly. Each time they added additional repairs without further expense to us and showed they valued our relationship and their reputation. We will continue to use them in the future and do not hesitate to recommend them.
