They cleaned up all the debris and were very good with follow through in setting up the appt for the quote and exactly what was accomplished. I would highly recommend them.

Darren and his two workers did a great job, were very pleasant and the three of them worked well together. I was very happy with the work they did and it exceeded my expectations. All the debris was completely cleaned up and the yard looked 100% better. Since he is out working, he didn't answer phone calls but did return all calls within an hour. He planned to come in the morning but was held up with other customers and came in late afternoon.

Fantastic! My first A+ experience in Charlotte. I bought the coupon on Thursday, Darren came to the house on Saturday morning, and the work was performed on Monday. He was so efficient, organized, responsive and they did a fantastic job. They did a LOT of work for the 2 "big deals" that I bought. They moved some huge granite slabs, cut down several trees, weeded out some serious overgrowth, and planted a bunch of new plants. I was at work so Darren called a couple of times with questions to make sure that everything was perfect. When I got home I couldn't believe the transformation. I can't wait until the Spring so I can do more...with DES of course!

ren I moved my father out of his house in southeast Charlotte last fall and into an assisted living facility. Some of the neighborhood kids had been mowing the lawn for the last few years, but Dad hadn't been keeping up with maintaining the other little things he used to do. I live out of state, and needed someone to take care of the lawn and generally maintain the property until the house can be sold. After calling a number of other lawn care providers, I found Darren on Angie's List and called him. Unlike the others, he returned my call promptly and went out to the property within a week to give me an estimate. In addition to mowing the lawn, Darren took care of the bushes and weeds to make the house presentable. I visited Charlotte a few days later and drove by; the house looks great! The real-estate agent who is representing us has told me she's thrilled with the way it looks, too!

D E S was very responsive -- gave us an estimate and we felt a fair price. Came out a few days later to do the work. They were prompt and courteous, had all the right equipment for the job -- and did a very good job. They also hauled away all the trimmings. Would definitely use them again.

I had been unable to remove leaves and was way behind Mother Nature. Darren came in and did an excellent job of vacuuming them up. He was punctual, true to his commitments and I will certainly use him again next year.

He returned my call to schedule an estimate on my landscaping needs, and I provided him my address and told him to go to my property and call me back with a quote. He did not return my call afterwards and I called him twice to ask him if he had been to the property and put together a quote. Apparently he is very very busy and does not need more work.

Fantastic service! I called and left Darren a message on a Saturday afternoon, knowing that this was outside of normal business hours and expecting him to give me a call back on Monday. He surprised me by returning my call on Saturday, less than three hours after I left the message! After getting a good description of my property, Darren quoted me a price for aeration only, and another for aeration/fertilization/seeding. He told me the date that he could do the work, and I agreed to call him back to confirm whether or not I wanted all three services or just the aeration. I called him a few days before our appointment and left a message that I wanted them to do everything. They showed up on time, did the work quickly and effectively, and cleaned up after themselves. They were very pleasant and courteous to my wife, who was home at the time. After having mixed results with other so-called lawn care specialists over the years for my annual aeration, finding DES Lawncare was a breath of fresh air! Great job, guys!

Service was great. Darren and his team take pride in their work and it shows. Last year my lawn looked great in the fall and came in very nicely in the spring and lasted through the hot summer!

I called Darren because I had an injury that was keeping me from mowing, and I needed someone to fill in for a couple of weeks. He responded quickly and came out the next day, and mowed for the next three weeks, as I requested. I appreciated his responsiveness and willingness to work with me, even knowing this would be a small job for him. Amount shown is the total for three mowings (I have a small yard).

I chose Darren because he was located in Waxhaw, where I live. He was hard to get ahold of but that was OK, summer is his busy time. I finally was contacted by him & he set a date to come over for an estimate. 10 min. after he was scheduled to be here, he called for directions, he was just leaving his house. Not a good sign. However, when he arrived he was very professional & friendly. We made the tour around the yard, Darren made several good suggestions. I planned on having quite a bit of stonework done. Darren told me where to look online for the stones. I found the exact stones I wanted & sent Darren the picture. He left after a handshake & said he would contact me with an estimate. I have never heard from him again. Doesn't a handshake mean anything? No matter the excuse (reason), he knew my phone # & where I live. No excuse!!

I went over my property lines with him and had them perform their service. The edging and trimming was not done in the back of my property. I called and left a message regarding the service, but had not heard back.

Darren and his crew do amazing work. They repaired a broken portion of my irrigation system and extended my current irrigation system to cover new bushes that were just planted. Since Darren has taken over, my yard had never looked better. They do meticulous work. My irrigation is fed by a well that is on my property. Earlier in the day, another landscaper had just finished resoding a part of my yard that they messed up 3 weeks earlier. Darren knocked on my door and told me that my well was leaking badly. I went to take a look and sure enough, right where the other company had re-installed the sod, they had backed into my well with their bobcat and broke a pipe!! Water was spraying all over the new sod. Darren jumped in his truck, drove to Home Depot and 45 minutes later came back to repair the break! I am very happy with everything Darren has done, and would highly recommend him. Whats even more amazing, it that he charged no more than my previous company was charging me. I highly recommend him.

I am very pleased with their service. They are very consistent and professional.

I'm not sure of the date and the price, but will say I will use this company over and over again. Not only was the price extremely reasonable for the job, the work they performed was wonderful! They even brought additional men out to finish the task on time without any additional cost to me. Everyone on the team and Darren was professional and clearly worked hard to accomplish the job in a way that was quoted to me. They will definitley be my go-to lawncare service. Highly recommend DES Lawncare!

The job was done very professionally and I have no reservations recommending.

My initial call was quickly returned and the job was done the next day. The company came back on Monday to trim the shrubs and did a great job on the trim and clean up. Super nice folks.

Darin was excellent. Performed the job in the allotted amount of time. Very professional. Even raised my shed w/wooden tiles. (Not part of the quote.)

Originally had to postpone because of weather. Showed up on the rescheduled day in the afternoon as he said he would. Price was as agreed to over the phone.

The work was excellent. They did exactly what we had planned. I paid them $500 as an initial payment; they were to come back and they never came back. I’ve left three messages with no response. I suspect that he doesn't want to take care of the pond (clean & change filters, etc) that I have in my backyard.

The landscaper, who was Darren arrived on time. He presented himself cordial, professional, and took time out to explain and show me, in addition to the scrubs and gutters service I needed to have my trees cut and trimmed, because the branches had grown so long that it caused the house roof to ravel. He also gave me a total price quote of $200.00 ... which I thought was beyond reasonable since my home has not had that type of lawn service for over a 1 yr. After the work was completed, I was so impressed of how everything looked so neat and groomed ...again I must repeat.. at a great price!.. especially since we are still experiencing a period of recession...you know what I mean. Yes, I would highly recommend anyone to use D E S Lawncare LCC. Oh, another thing I want to mention is that Darren did not care for a tip. Yeap, it is unique to find a lawn service that would value their customers business as such . Thanks a bunch!

They said they would be here and they were always here when they said. They were prompt and dependable and you didn't have to worry about them not coming. They were very professional with the services.
