We went as far as getting a quote. I felt they may be good at installing fence but not going any further than that. I just needed more than a fence installation company. I needed someone to suggest a) what type of fence would be best b) what material I should use (given that part of my fence would be going through a woods) and I just didn't get the feel this company wanted to get involved in the design/suggestion phase of my project. They may be totally okay for installing something once you know exactly what you require. I wasn't at that point and need more of a landscape design/landscapre architect to provide me with multiple options for blocking an unsightly yard next door.

All aspects of the process went smoothly.

They never showed up for the appointment and never called me back at all. When I tried to call them, I heard a message indicating that their voicemail box was full and could not accept any more messages. I must not have been the only one having issues with their service.

I got good feedback about them from the Angie's List website. They are completing work for me currently. I like their quick response time. Anytime we have a question they get back to us really quickly.

They did an excellent job start to finish. Lori was very good at communicating all the details of the job. They were there when they said they would be even though we had no power. The fence looks great and is very strong. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a fence. thanks for the great job.

Stronghold Fence Inc Company came out on a weekend and did the installation. They were here on time. They did an excellent job. We had three different bids and we chose them. I would use them in the future.

Overall, the work turned out great. I highly recommend them. They did an excellent work. They were timely. The quality of the work was good. They put up an aluminum fence, not the total of our backyard but it actually butted out to another neighbor?s fence in the back. It was definitely the best price of three bids that I received. They were definitely the most responsive. The service they provided was excellent. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

Lori responded to my inquiry in two days and scheduled an estimator to come out on Thursday at 11. By noon, no one was there. I called Lori and she was extremely apologetic - she had written me down on the schedule for the following Thursday by accident. We rescheduled for Friday at 4:30. Estimator was 30 minutes early, which wasn't a problem, but what if I hadn't been home? He walked the fence line, checking posts, and told me that Lori would be getting back to me with the estimate. She called and told me the price over the phone: $650 for 6 new posts, concrete added to another 5, and a new gate. They were $300 more than the best quote we got, so I declined their service. Lori called back and left another message that they would match competitor's pricing, and to call her if I wanted to reconsider. That annoyed me, and both my husband and I felt that (1) price-matching should've been offered up-front, and (2) if they were willing to drop their price by $300, then they should've quoted it correctly in the first place. I did not return her call.

I had an estimate within three days from the initial phone call. The installation was done in the time they told me it would take and all went well.

Professional from start to finish. I contacted Stronghold Fence and had an estimate within a few days. The work started the following week. They showed up when they said they would and did an awesome job. It took them several hours to take down all the old fencing, and they promptly started installing the split rail fence. They had to custom build a gate since I needed an over size gate on my driveway. It looks beautiful.

The work and the price were good. They were pretty quick. It was a simple fence, but it had to be adjusted one time. I called them, and one of them came by and adjusted it; I had no problems with that. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

They did a very good job, I was very pleased with it, and the fence is still standing. It was very good. The owner came and did the work. He was very efficient, did a great job, and explained everything beforehand. For the price I had higher estimates from other companies.

They finished the work in one day. They did an excellent job. They came out to give a quote very quickly. They did the work for the quoted price. They couldn't have done better. We were very pleased. They would be the first people I would call in the future if I needed more work done.

The were unbelievable! We had a nightmare of a landscaping contractor who had taken our money upfront to "purchase all the materials" which he never did and never came back to put in the fence. I spoke with Lori at Stronghold, and that same day Charlie was out to do an estimate. The price was about the same, maybe even a little less, than other contractors. He was out to do the fence within 48 hours. The fence looks great, there was no mess, and they were very professional. I almost wish I had another yard to fence, because running into contractors that actually show up, do the work, and do it well, are very rare these days. Thank you Lori and Charlie!!!

Excellent job from start to finish.

He was very good and we didn't have any problems. We've used them twice. The first time was because part of our fence had fallen down and he put it back together and did a great job. Their price was very reasonable compared to everyone else. He was very friendly and polite. The gate repair was a small job and he asked if it was all right if he came by to look at it when he was in the area. The office arranged the time and he came within a few days. We would definitely use him again.

The owner came out and gave us an estimate for the type of fencing we wanted. The price was very reasonable and was better than the estimate we previously received from a local home store. He helped us decide where to put the fence as our property is on a slope and we had recently installed a 6' retaining wall . The installation was completed in 1 1/2 days and went smoothly with no problems. We love the fence and are extremely pleased with Stronghold.

Stronghold fence was wonderful to work with. They were competitive in pricing and provided quick and stellar service. The owner was responsive to my input and worked with me every step of the way to make sure the outcome was exactly what I was hoping for. The job was done in a timely fashion and they cleaned up any debris after the job. I would use them again and highly recomment this company.

They did a wonderful job. They were very punctual and professional. We have a large dog and they worked with us to decide which fence would be the best for our needs. We are very pleased with the results. They installed a gate between our detached garage and house. They had to drill into the concrete and build custom gate to fit the odd space. It looks great. I highly recommend using them.

The posts on the back edge of our yard were falling over. We called Stronghold and they were quick to give us a quote, answer questions and get the job done. The yard was very clean after they finished. They even came in at a price under the quote because they felt we didn't need to replace some parts of the fence. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant and professional. I definitely recommend them.

We chose Stronghold Fence after reading the reports in Angies list, we specifically liked working with a small husband and wife company. They set up an appointment for an estimate within a few days after calling them. Charlie did the measuring one afternoon and gave us our estimate a couple of days later. The proposed work was fairly priced so we agreed on the deal. Charlie and 1 helper took down the split rail fence removed the debris and reinstalled the replacement fencing the first day. This was done to secure our pool area for the safety of the neighborhood children and our next door neighbors dog. The smaller amount of vinyl fencing was removed and replaced the next day. We are completely satisfied with the quality of the work preformed and would highly recommend them for any and all.

Great!!! Lori and Charlie were excellent!!! They were quick and responsive to any and all questions I had. They did all my association paperwork and I was approved quickly. They did a wonderful job, the fence is beautiful and I couldnt be happier. They are true professionals.

We received excellent service - from our initial phone conversation on potential options related to our situation to the owner of the business spending considerable time working with us in our backyard to design a solution. He was a great listener and very patient in hearing our needs. He was specific in terms of the overall process and installation timing. This company has extended years of experience and are experts in designing and installing fencing solutions.

Called and left a message on 7/28/10 that I was interested in obtaining an estimate on fence repairs. I did not receive a call back until Friday morning, 7/30. By that time, another company had come out, given an estimate & completed the work. Stronghold may do good work, but their lack of response cost them an opportunity to bid on a job. And when she did call, she was less than friendly.
