Stronghold Fence Inc

I found Stronghold Fence through an internet search, emailed fence specs and requested a ballpark quote. I heard back from Lori right away with the quote. I contacted them, and Charlie came out, and confirmed that their ballpark was correct. The work was scheduled promptly, and executed very well. I requested that they switch out the gate latch for an interior style, rather than exterior. Charlie came back immediately and took care of it. I would highly recommend this company for both customer service, as well as excellent fencing installation.

I first received an estimate over the phone, based on my measurements. Then they came out and gave me another, more accurate estimate using their measurements. They were somewhat slowed down by rainy weather, but came within a week or two of their original date. The fence went up in a little over a day, all the old materials were removed and the yard was left in great shape. I would use them again!

I had about 75 feet of old wood picket fence in my front yard. Stronghold came out and looked at what I had and gave me two estimates - one for a new wood fence and one for a vinyl fence (both included the removal and haul away of the existing fence). The wood fence estimate was about $1200 and the vinyl was $1800; based on my conversation with them, the vinyl definitely made more sense to me (although they didn't try to sway me either way). They immediately got me on the schedule and the day they were scheduled to come it rained, so they came later that week (I travel quite a bit, so I actually don't know when). The fence looks AMAZING - very professional job and they hauled away everything that was there. Would definitely recommend them and hire again (I think fencing is expensive in general, but their prices seemed fair).

Fantastic. I found Stronghold on Angie's List and was not disappointed. The best customer service experience I have had in a long time. Lori is professional and responsive and so easy to work with. Charlie, as my husband describes him, is about the nicest guy we've ever met. They did great work, and when I had a follow up call with some concerns, they had an immediate response, came out, took care of everything and assured me they just wanted me to be happy. I could not be happier. My only regret is that you only need one fence!

GREAT. Charles came out and spent about 45 minutes telling me about himself and his business, answering all my questions and addressing my concerns. He believes in doing a great job at a fair price . Charles is very staight forward and stresses quality workmanship. He said he could match my fence with the same quality of materials and do the repair area with some old rails which were still good. He initially said it would be a day or day and a half job. There was no pressure for money or committment from me. Lori ( his wife) sent me a contract, which outlined everything , and after I read it and sent it back she set up the installation for April 9th. They arrived at 0700 and were totally done around noon ! They worked fast but first rate quality! They even tried to get up the sawdust in the natural area where they did some work ! I have very high expectations for service and Charles and Rob (?) met them all. A very genuine guy, who does great work at a fair price ! I couldn't be happier with the job...just sorry I didn't write this sooner ! THANKS AGAIN FOR A GREAT JOB Glenn

The neighbor decided to sell, so we needed to move a section of our fence out to the property line. In preparation for moving the fence, we had the property surveyed and the property line marked. Then Stronghold came out to work up a quote, which they had ready the next day. I had some questions and specific issues regarding the contract, so Lori came to me and we went through all of them to my satisfaction. As soon as our February "blizzard" cleared, Stronghold came and completed all the work in a day and a half. We are very happy with result.

I highly recommend Stronghold fence. They were super friendly, very responsive and very paitient with questions taking plenty of time to explain in detail how they fence would be built, what to expect etc. We got several other quotes and Stronghold was by far the best bargain. Additionally, their level of craftsmanship was superior to other competitors...so we really did get more for less!

Charlie came out to consult with us when I called and complained about our puppy chewing through our mesh covering for our backyard fence. He offered to replace it with a wire mesh that he can't chew through. He was very helpful and covered all the possibilities. I liked the fact that he didn't try to sell us something that we didn't need and understood that we just wanted to prevent our puppy from getting out. He and his wife Lori were very friendly and responsive.

Stronghold did an outstanding job! Lori was professional, courteous and responsive right from the start, and Charlie and his assistant were professional and courteous on the job site. The estimate I received actually came in at a price lower than I had anticipated, which increased the overall value of what I received. Charlie took the time to go over the project with me the morning he began the work, and it was done timely and efficiently. The fence looks great, and this team is HIGHLY recommended!!

Charlie and his team did a great job on the fence, it looks fantastic. We absolutely love our new fence and our dog approves too. We would highly recommend Charlie for your fence needs.

I had to get permission from my HOA. Even with the back and forth with the HOA, Charlie helped me understand what was blocking the progress. He never got annoyed with the project being extended and went above and beyond, in my mind, in helping me achieve what I wanted and in a price range that was affordable. We had to work around trees and he was accommodating. I had talked to other fence companies who weren't as keen in moving an existing fence. I found Charlie not only willing, but happy to do so. And it showed in the quality of the workmanship of the job. In addition, it didn't take long to do!

From my first call, I couldn't have been more pleased with the responsiveness and professionalism of Charlie and his wife Lori who runs the office. Every call was returned quickly, every question answered, and when Charlie came to give an estimate he fully explained what needed to be done. I got 3 estimates and his was the lowest, but I would have used him even if it hadn't been. I highly recommend Stronghold Fence.

Stronghold was very professional. Their communication was excellent and we thought their price was fair and competitive. Work was performed quickly and efficiently.

Within the last year my wife & I got a puppy and have been wanting to get the backyard fenced in so "Hank" can run around outside and enjoy himself. We contacted Stronghold and with a week they were able to come out and give us an estimate. We had received a couple estimates from other area company's and Stronghold's price was much more reasonable and competitive than the others. They were able to come out within a couple of weeks and complete the job in just 2 days. My wife and I are both very happy with the quality and craftsmanship of the fence. We as well as "Hank" will thoroughly enjoy it for the years to come.

Lori and Charlie were great to work with throughout this process. We had some issues with our property line and a hill behind our house and Charlie came out various times to speak with my husband and I about fence placement as well as help pinpoint exactly where we should place the fence. They were very professional and trustworthy. Charlie was always on time and very clean during the installation process. They were also very accomidating to our change in the schedule, as we had to sort out landscaping issues before we could continue with the fence. We are very pleased with the entire project, from start to finish.

The job took less time than origanlly estimated. I am very pleased with quality of work.

Stronghold Fence company was excellent! They had wonderful customer service - took the time to answer my questions, actually meausred our property line according to the survey report (was the only company that did that) which was a good thing because we were originally going to install the fence to what would have been outside of our property. They were very professional and you could tell they really cared about their work. The fence that they installed was of high quality workmanship. We have even had neighbors comment how nice it looks and that the craftmanship is of high quality. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Stronghold was quick to respond to our initial inquiry. They came out to provide us an estimate within a couple of days and called the following day with a price. They did not pressure us to make any decision. After we received additional bids, I contacted them to have them forward me a written estimate of their proposal which they e-mailed that same day. When I had a question, Lori or Chuck were quick to respond. Their bid was far lower than others we received. I questioned them about this and they assured me that since they were the owners and staff, their overhead was much lower. We chose them to do the work and Chuck came out to review the site and what we wanted. We were told that they would schedule the work for the week of June 15, 2009. I then received a call on June 10th from Lori and she told me that they could do the project on Saturday, June 13th. Stronghold did an excellent job. The fence looks great.

Lori was contacted to set-up measuring for estimate. Charley came out on time. Materials were ordered and install date was scheduled. Charley and his assistant installer came out when they said they would and built fence and gates on site. They also trimmed low limbs and hedge that were in the way of the new fence and removed debris. They were all very easy to work with and did a fine job. We are very happy with the new fence and would certainly recommend this company.

Lori in the office was very friendly and responsive. Charlie was great -- he came out to give an estimate / discuss options, and he ended up fitting me in 2 weeks ahead of my scheduled work date. The fence looks great, (it has a nice arch, and the gate works well / seems much better constructed than my last one.) Charlie was very professional -- He consulted with me along the way to make sure that the fence was how I wanted it to be, (so I would recommend that you schedule during a time that you can be home for at least part of the time.) Overall I had a great experience and would hire them again.

From start to finish Lori and Charlie were professional, courteous, and helpful. They were always on time and responded same day to phone calls. Their estimate was $1000 less than a competitor. They worked with me on getting the fence through my HOA approval process. They moved up the install date(originally it was about 2 weeks out)once I was approved to get the fence in fast. They contacted the city to mark power/water lines. Charlie hand-dug the holes in order to not hit my sprinkler system. The install took 1 day. I had a question about one loose pole afterwards, so Charlie came back out on a Sat. to look at it; the cement had not "grabbed" yet, he said, which sometimes happens, and as promised the post firmed up within a few days. He also gave me a can of matching spray paint to use to touch up any nicks that the fence gets. The fence looks phenomenal, and now I can let my toddler play in the back yard free of worries.

WONDERFUL! After talking to Lori, Charlie came the same day to give me an estimate that was fair. I was initially scheduled for installation on April 14, 2009 and when I found out that I was given approval by my homeowners association, they were ableto begin the installation the NEXT DAY! They protected my "fierce" sheltie puppies from the mean old lady next door. Thanks Charlie and Lori you have now been selected as my dogs GOD PARENTS!

WOW - where do I begin - Lori at the office is wonderful - quick to return phone calls and fax estimates. Charlie came out to give an estimate in the snow - very professional - The fence was up within 2 weeks of the original phone call. I am so pleased with the outcome and I would recommend Stronghold Fence to anyone who wants qualitity fencing!!!

They installed a fence and my experience with them has been positive. They have a great product with a good warranty. Their workmanship is very good. They are friendly, responsive and dependable and punctual. They return phone calls on time. They just did what they said they were going to do.
