+ -1 moreVery confusing. And odd. He'd come before and done a good job. So I reached out again (texting). He responded quickly with a text back - all good, right? That's why I gave him an A for responsiveness. I texted back pics of what I wanted.... Then got a text photo of the side of his truck AT 1 AM! In the morning, I asked if he was ok. He denied sending me a photo "I'm sorry but you might have me confused with someone else. I'm an electrician you requested a quote... don't recall sending you a picture." When I sent him back a screen shot, he said, "I sent this picture to identify myself and my company that's all." Odd. And not professional.

+ 0 moreThese were all small projects but Ray was very accomodating in fitting us into his schedule. He generally gives us a not to exceed price when he comes out to look at the job and we have him go ahead an do the work then. On one occaission, he charged us less than that because the job went quicker than he thought it would. The quality of his work is excellent and he always cleans up when he is finished. His prices are good for the work done. We will call Ray for our next electrical project.
Description of Work: We found Ray a number of years ago when he was recommended to us by a lighting store to install an under counter lighting system. That job went very well and we are still pleased with the results. We have used Ray for four small projects within the last two to three years. 1) Installed five security lights in soffit of rental property. Involved crawling into attic to make connections. Replaced existing wall switch with programable wall switch. 2) Extended electrical power and cable to new location for television. Involved going into crawl space under house. 3) Added outside electrical outlet and lighting for garden fountain. Wall switches were added inside garage to turn on lights and fountain. 4) Relocated electrical outlet and added wall switch on space above fireplace mantle.

+ 0 moreIt really went great. I found P****** Electric on Angie's List and called because their address was close. I called around 9 a.m. and left a message. Ray called back around 10 and said he could be there to complete the job around 12. He showed up at 12 with a huge ladder and had the job completed in about 45 minutes. Very efficient and professional.
Description of Work: Ray came to our house about three hours after I called him and took down an old fixture and installed another in our two story foyer.

+ -1 moreA friend of mine had recommended Ray to me, so I had him come out and do an estimate. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He said that he could complete it 3 weeks later (none of the repairs were emergencies). His estimate was 40% higher than our other two estimates, so we went with another company.
Description of Work: We had Ray come out to do an estimate on completing a punch list of electrical repairs on a house we had recently purchased. He came out four days later as scheduled to do the estimate.

+ -1 moreCONTRACTOR WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO GET HERE QUICKLY, AND GOT THE POWER BACK ON SINCE THE HOUSE HAD NO WATER.
Description of Work: LIGHTNING STRIKE KNOCKED OUT THE BREAKER AND DAMAGED ANOTHER (THE HOUSE MAIN). ELECTRICIAN TESTED ALL BREAKERS, DROVE TO HARDWARE STORE TO GET ONE OF THEM, REPLACED BOTH, AND ALSO CHECKED AND FIXED ONE OUTSIDE SOCKET.
