They arrived as scheduled and had the job completed in two or three days. Their work was literally undetectable. You would never know that an irrigation system had been installed. The lawn was completely put back in order. The workers were very professional.

Called for an estimate on finding and repairing leaky pipe. Do to timing and price we selected another provider, but have nothing negative to say about Lawn Tec.

Ian arrived on Monday morning and began excavating the pond. His electrician came out and wired an outside line for the water pump. Ian placed a high-grade pad under a high-grade liner and after boring the boulder placed the 3'x2'x2' boulder in the middle of the pond. (He claims he doesn't want to EVER have to come out and move that boulder again for repairs to the liner......hence the extra padding. lol) Tuesday he spent placing the stones, rocks and pebbles around and throughout the pond, filling the pond with water and setting up the water pump. By the third day he was detailing the rock work and stones and pebbles creating a lovely, rustic water feature for us to enjoy. The final work will be done when he's planted the five Emerald Green Arborvitae behind the pond to screen the neighbor's homes from ours. He will also put in a small berm between the pond and trees which he will shoulder up with large stones to make a sitting wall. There will also be a spotlight placed on the adjoining pergola to highlight the water feature. He's done a great job.......

They do a fine job. The young man that comes out is quick and good. He doesn't dawdle but if you start talking to him, he will talk your ears off. They are pretty pricey.

Ian brought out several trees of each variety and allowed me to choose which ones I wanted and he returned the ones I didn't want. He planted all the trees in one day and properly mulched and fertilized them for me. He also cares for my lawn and each time he mowed in the early spring I would find him examining each tree looking for signs of winter damage. He fussed over them almost more than I did! I'm a Master Gardener and prefer to do most of my plantings and Ian is supportive of my desires to tend my own yard. He has opinions of his own concerning my landscaping and is not shy to express them, but he has always given me exactly what I've asked for when I've asked for it. He's a great landscaper and very knowledgeable.

I liked Ian from the beginning; he's very contientious about his clients' yards, making sure to mow at the optimal height, as well as when conditions are right (e.g., waiting an extra day or so after it rains). He does a good job keeping an eye out for trouble spots, and even put down week killer in some flower beds without charging us. I would recommend Ian to anyone for lawn service.

Ian was the only person who claimed he could do everything. He gave us a proposal, had a great price, had a diagram for us. He is a great sales person. We decided to go with him. Once the job got started, certain things fell by the wayside. His quality was low grade. He installed all the trees and shrubs. He sub contracted all the other work out, and only did the landscaping. He was never on the job site himself. 100% of the trees he planted died, and over half of the shrubs died. We called to ask why they died. He said we didn?t water them. We asked if he checked the irrigation was installed properly. We asked him about the warranty. He said he thinks we voided the warranty by not watering them. We had some other professional landscapers come out to take a look. They said he did poor work. They said he planted them only about half way into the ground, planting them too high, making the irrigation system not work, and the water run off. He did not do an irrigation assessment. When I asked about the water, he said I should ask some of the residents and have them water them. He was very unprofessional. In addition, the stone work he did, the caps he drew on the pictures, were not the caps that were installed. He installed some flat caps that were a fraction of the cost of the proposal. We asked him about it, he said the ones he put in the diagram were purely illustrated. Needless to say, we are very disappointed. The irrigation work was subcontracted out, and the water was spilling out onto the street, and we had to have it totally redone. He refused to fix it and pay for the repairs. We had a very poor customer experience. We fired him, he did not replace the trees, and now we have to replace them at our own cost. He guaranteed a lifetime warranty on the lights. We were satisfied with the lights, however we had some trouble with them coming on simultaneously on both sides. We called him, he refused to honor the warranty and fix them.

They were friendly and knew what they were talking about. They were laid back, but very good. They were responsive and punctual. They gave us a reasonable quote and we are thinking about going with them.

Ian is a very personable man with a joyful attitude and a dedication to his work. He's shown up on time and takes pride in his work; even as to asking me if my husband likes the decorative stripes he makes with his lawnmower (as if my husband even realizes the lawn needs mowing)! He uses a 'green' blower which is better for the environment and he's delighted with it as am I. He's fairly knowledgeable about organic treatments for the lawn and shrubbery, but doesn't try to persuade me to go 'green' or not. So far, I am very happy with LawnTec!

My husband and I grew tired of the language barrier between us and the Latinos that our lawn guy employed. Also, some of those guys looked like ex-cons and we have young children at home. We received a flyer which stated one man operation so we called Ian to come take a look. He was super clean cut and professional and the price was the same. We have used him for a couple of months now and he is great. shows up when he says he will and does a great job. we don't have to worry about anything. He has even done some seeding for free just to keep the lawn looking good during the drought. I would recommend Ian to anyone. He is terrific.
