Description of Work: House break in: our house was broken into over the weekend and our security system from Harmonic Solutions is the reason nothing was taken. We've worked with Mike for over 5 years and he has always timely addressed any questions or issues we've had. We considered cameras in the past, but ended up holding off which is not the case anymore. We are having Mike install cameras shortly. He continues to be the most reasonably priced security option as we've periodically compared him to CPI, ADT, Time Warner, etc.

Description of Work: I used this company in a previous home, and decided to use again when we moved. I had an alarm system installed in 2010, and then called the owner in 2012 to talk to him about removing the alarm, so that he could replace it after a major renovation to our house. He came and removed the equipment right away, but after several phone calls and voice mails to him, he never returned our calls to re-install the system. I am very disappointed in the customer service I received, and if he was no longer in business, the least he could have done, was returned our phone calls. We were held up in the framing process, and couldn't move further until this equipment was installed, so I had to pay someone else for a completely new system. Probably $500-$600 more than I would have paid, had Harmonic solutions re-installed my previous system as discussed.

Description of Work: Harmonic Solutions was the type of company I was looking for. The small guy who strives to provide quality work. The owner Mike came out to my house the same day I called him. In fact he came out and dropped off some information on his way to his sons ball game. A few days later we sat down and went over what I wanted and he came through flawlessly. I now have a system that sends me text messages the same time it sends the message to the monitor company. I have recommended Harmonic Solutions to several of my friends and we all have had a great experience.

+ -1 moreMike always showed up (usually early) for our meetings. After the first meeting it became clear that he's a business owner who goes above and beyond for his customers. His pricing was very fair and he delivered a working system on the date promised. On several occasions, he made suggestions that saved me money. He's answered every question that's come up and keeps in touch to make sure I'm satisfied.
Description of Work: Mike reviewed the existing security system in a home I purchased and then made a proposal based on the improvements I wanted to make, which included significant upgrades and covering a detached garage/bonus room. All of his work was done well and on-time. He's been back to make minor adjustments and make sure I'm happy.

+ -1 moreI called him and inquired about upgrading my intercom. Over a week later he returned my call. When I called him back he came by that same day since he was in my area. He was professional in his appearance and approach. He looked at my system and told me I would need to replace all of my speakers to upgrade the system, which would require drywall and repair in 10 rooms. This was something I did not want to do unless absolutely necessary. He said he would investigate other options and get back to me in a couple of weeks. That was June 2008. I still have not heard from him. Obviously he forgot about me or just decided that there were no other options. A phone call would have been appreciated.
Description of Work: Just an initial visit - no services were offered.

+ -1 moreMike was on time and very thorough. He evaluated the current system in our new home and then made the necessary changes in order to accommodate our family. Mike did a wonderful job explaining how the panel worked and arranging monitoring. There was absolutely no hard sell which made the entire transaction a pleasure.
Description of Work: Installed new security system including additional panel in the master bedroom. He also changed the motion detector into a more pet friendly model.
