+ -1 moreThis was my first experience with the company, although I had called them with a question prior and they gave me good advice over the phone to save me $. The service was fast and reasonable in cost. I had read good things about Fatman and I'll be going to them with all my future needs.
Description of Work: I had them replace a pressure control valve in my yard yesterday. It had been on my to-do list over the last 6 months or so. They told me that it didn't necessarily need to be immediately replaced...but something I'd want to do in the future since the valve was fairly old. I had already made up my mind to replace it beforehand as a preventative measure, but I got the feeling they had my best interest at heart so that was refreshing.

Description of Work: FATman replaced two very old toilets with new ones after (from a great referral from him!) we had old vinyl floors replaced with tile. Chris fit us in around a difficult schedule and did a great job at a great price. We've used him before and will always use him again! A jewel!

+ -1 moreWater had been slowly leaking from the joint on the outlet pipe of our water heater. Chris discovered that the joint had never been properly crimped. He crimped it and stopped the leak, thus avoiding me paying for a more expensive pipe replacement. I was VERY impressed with Chris' advice and honesty, stating he wanted to save me money by trying to fix the leak rather than replacing the pipe. He did say that if it leaks again within 30 days, he will replace the pipe without charging an additional service fee. The service was prompt, professional and courteous. Lilly called to say they were on their way and they arrived 5 minutes later. I would definitely use this service again and would recommend them.

Description of Work: My garbage disposal was clogged with vegetable peels on a Sunday morning. I called Fat Man and they had someone at my house within an hour. The trip charge, the weekend surcharge (only $20), and the repair was only $119.

Description of Work: One of the automatic waterers in our barn started to leak, next to a new batch of expensive hay. Chris the next morning, fixed the problem, and saved our hay!

+ 0 moreI had a leak in an outside spigot and there was water everywhere. He stopped the leak and corrected the situation. He then fixed my other spigot. He did a great job. Excellent customer service as I needed him immediately and he came right over. I recommend using him and will use him again in teh future - hopefully next time in a more planned and controlled fashion!

Description of Work: Initially came out to discuss a difficult garden tub faucet repair that I didn't want to have to tear out tub or shower tile. He was Great offering ideas. We were so impressed by professionalism, that we decided to hire him to install all our sinks ,faucets and dishwasher after granite install. We also had him replace two toilets upstairs. I appreciated the fact that he suggested that we replace the valves due to age. That prompted us to ask for another project. He replaced main water cutoff in the house that had given us trouble turning off when we went on vacation. Overall we kept adding jobs because he had a great professional demeanor. We could not be happier with the results.
