They asked for pictures of the area where the hot water tank would go. I sent these over same day. I checked in a few times over several weeks and never got a response. They finally called me back several weeks later to say they hadn’t forgotten about me and would get back to me with an estimate. I waited a few more weeks and still haven’t not gotten a call back from them despite leaving a few voicemails.

He was quick and did an excellent job

Doug was courteous and open, but pricing is a little steep.

Doug quoted between $400-$500 to install the new gas line. He offered a lifetime warranty on parts and 1 year warranty on labor. Was the best quote of the 3 I received, so we agreed he would come at 9 am on 01/25/18 to do the work. I waited 1 1/2 hours and he never showed up. I received no call from him. I called him and his wife told me that he had problems with the garage door opener at his house that morning, claimed he called me and got no response, so went on to his next appointment of the day. I received no voicemail or missed calls from him. He simply never showed up to do the work. Not punctual or professional, and clearly unreliable. Would not recommend him to others.

We had a pinhole leak on the kitchen ceiling. We reached out to Doug's Plumbing among many others. Doug's plumbing responsed pretty fast and they gave the most reasonable quotes aside from their stellar reputation in Angie's list. I usually don't give reviews, but I'll feel bad if I don't leave one. Doug gave good work and was really nice. Hard to find combination nowadays. He spent time explaining to us what to tell the sheetrock guy tomorrow, even though it's not his job. We can tell that they really want a repeat customer, and they have one. Like they said, they don't spend much on advertising, but a word of mouth. Here's ours. Thank you very much for an easy deal!

Having said all of that, the gentleman that came to my house was not only courteous, friendly, personable and professional, he was also refreshingly honest. He did an excellent job! He was thorough and worked very quietly and quickly. He was in and out in no time. Also, I overpaid him in error and when he discovered it after leaving, he promptly called to bring it to my attention. He reminded me that I had paid online via Angie's List and that I didn't owe him. He mailed the check back to me and now all is well. I will use this company again because of his integrity, the quality of his work, and his professionalism.

Doug McVay is his name. They inspected water lines coming into the washing machine, he replaced those valves. He ripped out tub and replaced with walk in shower. We had an real old rusty shut off valve to the main water line, he replaced that. All excellent work. Plumbing is a high price thing no matter who you go with, but he was real fair with us. He did a good quality job. I did not compare other prices. The last job he did give me a discount since he'd done so much work for us prior. Excellent quality, very good job. They give you some thoughtful input that is appreciated. He is our main guy if we need anything other work done.
