After spending 6 years in the greater Charlotte area, we began to see how many homeowners could use a good, dependable painter who could not only do big jobs, but also single rooms at an affordable price. Different Strokes Painting is licensed and insured with years of experience providing top-quality, interior and exterior residential painting services for our community. At Different Strokes Painting we have experience at creating beautiful, professional painting projects for both your home's interior and exterior. We recognize that some painting jobs can be invasive and intrusive to your home, and the Different Strokes Painting experts work diligently and respectfully to limit customer disturbances. Before the brush ever meets the wall, we take the necessary precautions to protect your furniture, carpet, and other personal items. Of the many decks built in Charlotte each year, many go unprotected against the varying climates of North Carolina. Summer brings intense UV rays, and with winter comes sleet and snow. If unstained, decks will quickly turn dull and gray. In order to alleviate this common problem, Different Strokes Painting offers effective and efficient deck staining services. We provide customers with a variety of finishes to choose from, ensuring that their deck will match the trim and siding of their home exactly. Offering everything from a rich, deep redwood to a light, beautiful harvest brown, we can match any color and shade you desire. Not only did Bob do a great job, he was a pleasure to work with. He came when he said he would, he worked with the weather problems, he has a wonderful personality and when he was finished there wasn't a thing for me to do except marvel at what a great job he did.
Description of Work: I am so thrilled with Bobs work! The screened porch floor needed to be restained. Some areas were weathered where the wood was exposed to the sun and rain while other areas were in great shape - that makes it hard to get a good result. Bob cleaned, sanded, and stained the floor and it looks as beautiful as it when it was new!

This was our first interaction. He works alone. It took 7 or 8 days to complete the work but it was great. He was flexible. We had bad weather and my kids had the stomach flu during the process so it dragged on. But he was great! He painted the kitchen a color we picked and we did not like it. He repainted it and just charged us a little to redo it. Not as much as the first time to paint it. He cleaned up well and did a great job. We are waiting for the weather to warm up for him to paint the front door outside.

Bob did an excellent job on the project overall and is very knowledgeable and professional. We had to work around weather issues and Bob did whatever was required (working weekends and off hours) to get the project done under proper conditions. It's nice to be able to trust someone to look out after their customers best interest and not rush through a project just to collect the check. We will be using Bob on all future interior and exterior painting projects and highly recommend him.
Description of Work: Prepped and painted bare wood screened-in porch addition. Matched all transition points from house to porch.
