This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with in my life. I requested a quote for the aeration and was not happy with the quote. The next weekend they sent their trucks to my house and started aerating my lawn without my consent. This is not the first time this has happened with them. They did it before with a lawn cutting as well. After I complained to them about the matter they denied they would ever send the workers without my request and threatened me through emails. Do not ever use action lawn care!

They did a great job and will be providing all our landscape services in the future.

They come out on time for regular lawn maintenance. They laid fertilizer & seed. They also aerated the lawn. They were very professional. They took the time to explain what our lawn needed to thrive. They always answered the phone and were very professional. We have been using them for close to a year and are very happy with their service.

They were fantastic getting us set up for the spring. This is the first time I’ve used them. They were already in the neighborhood so they were able to get to my house and do the work in the same day.

The contact is a lady by the name of Darlene - and she is fabulous. Very nice and pleasant to deal with. I called her and within several days she sent out David (?) to look at my yard and evaluate it for cost. He gave me a fair evaluation as well as throwing some advice for some problems I have in the yard. I hired them and they are doing a fine job. Why I was away on vacation, Darlene sent out a note that with all of the rain in the area, they were behind on cutting everybody's yard and they would get there as soon as they could. I think that shows the professional attitude they work with.

They removed the fescue grass and promoted the Bermuda grass.

Came when they said they would, did an excellent job and communicated professionally.

They mowed our family cemetery and provided trimming services. Excellent job!

Very responsive on response to hire. Took a few more days than I would have liked to come do the work. Equipment was broken so they had to hand rake and bag which took a long time and was pricy. They did slightly adjust bill to accommodate but it was still pricy. However...they did an impeccable job and saved me from having to do it.

They charge by the hour, $47 an hour per man. Last year we paid a total of $360, but this year we paid $900. We are really upset about the charge. Apparently they would send two men a week to work for an hour. They did a good job but we did not realize they were coming out each week. I cannot believe we had this many more leaves this year.

Norris and his manager Dave have been phenomenal. They have gone "above and beyond" to help me to solve persistent issues with my lawn. My lawn has been a challenge from the beginning, full of weeds and Bermuda, and lately spotted spurge. Norris actually conferred with a friend who works with the Extension service to have lawn ph and soil samples tested. He is consistently trying to think of ways to improve the shape of my lawn. I am very grateful that he has determined to help me and to solve the lawn problems. His wife Darlene has also worked very closely with me to solve our lawn issues. They have also been very sensitive to financial limitations that I have to keep in mind to stay within my budget. They have certainly earned my trust and my loyalty. My lawn is not perfect, but it is immensely improved over what three other companies have tried to do and given up with. It continues to improve, and I appreciate all of their efforts.

He did not follow instructions. We planted 20 trees in backyard, and we told them not mow near them, but they mowed near them anyway. They also did trimming around the yard, and did a terrible job. I would not recommend them at all.

The spring cleanup is something we kept thinking we would get to, but never did. I am glad we didn't, because they did a MUCH better job than we could have. They took great care to not only trim and prune well, but made everything pleasing to the eye.

The approximate cost might have been $85. They came when they were supposed to, and their communication was good. I would use them again in the future.

We were completely satisfied and the job was completed as stated. It was a one-time service. They were prompt and responsive. They were not expensive. They were easy to work with and they took care to make sure we were happy with the work that was done. We would use them again.

Norris, the owner, contacted me very quickly after I initiated a request about their services. We are in need of someone knowledgeable to fix our lawn issues caused by our previous service. Norris is VERY knowledgeable and even went above and beyond to contact a source at NC State re: a new weed prevention for bermuda grass. He has been great to work with; the issues with our lawn will take some time to reverse, but I am really hopeful that Norris and his team can make great improvements in our lawn. Also, his wife is a great resource re: plants, trees, etc. and I have really enjoyed hearing her advice, etc.

We did some landscaping in the front, and at the back we made a small garden. I don't know how much they charged us for it. They listened to what we wanted and changed the design to fit ours. When we called them because a few plants had died they came out right away and replaced it.

Had to reschedule a few times, crew arrived unannounced. Once they started, job went smoothly. 2 man crew was very hardworking and thourough. I would use them again.

Action Lawn Care has provided lawn service for our home since Spring 2007. They have always been professional, punctual and detailed. We have the best lawn of any of our neighbors and have had many of them comment on the great work that Action Lawn Care provides. We could not be more pleased with their work and recommend them without reservation to our neighbors and friends.

Action Lawn Care has provided lawn service for us for several years. We mentioned to Dave that we were having problems with drainage near the front of our house because of the existing landscaping and the sheer volume of water from our front gutters. Dave quoted a estimate to install PVC under our walkway and connect it to the front gutters while preserving our existing plants, but stated the the final price would be on a time at materials basis. He and his team came within $50 of the price (under the estimate). He and his staff worked hard at completing the work and I felt that I got great service for a great price. We could not be more pleased the result. We highly recommend Action Lawn and will be using them for other landscaping work in the future, in addition to our current lawn service.

They have always come when they said they would and if it is raining, they will call and explain when they will be there. Their pricing is very fair and they do an excellent job.

The whole job went well...Norris, the owner & his wife, Darlene, were very helpful & responsive. They were present at the start of the work & periodically throughout the job. There employees did good work & cleaned up behind themselves. The finished project looked great. We had some additional problems with the water not draining as expected, and Norris was quick to remedy this without additional charge. This company is very responsible & easy to work with (we have used them for several years for regular yard maintenance).

I made the call to Norris. He called me back the same day. I described what I needed and he told me that they could handle the job at a fixed dollar per hour and the clock starts when they start the job and it stops when they leave. I released him to do the work. They came the next day and called me to verify exactly what I wanted to have done. They went to work immediately and completed the job in 5.67 hours and they deducted lunch and rest breaks. Total hours billed at 4.92 hours. The job was done beautifully and the site was left immaculate. I was very impressed.

The work is great and he does a wonderful job. When we moved in the lawn looked bad and it looks great now.

They are excellent, prompt, and there prices are very reasonable. Pruning the shrubs cost extra.
