Description of Work: We hired H. Mayo appliance repair to fix a broken icemaker in a Kitchenaid refrigerator/freezer. Thomas A. took the time to explain the possible issues and solutions after investigating the problem. Thomas A. is knowledgeable, polite, and professional. He replaced a circuit board, which unfortunately didn't work. He came back, bypassed the circuit board, and voila! We have ice. He explained that the circuit board was bad and will be back to replace it with one that works.

+ 0 moreWe use him more frequently now than we ever have. He's a local guy. He's knowledgeable about most brands of appliances. He started out as a repair man and sold his company because of whatever the rules of the sale were. He could not do repairs in the area for five years. By selling he gained a lot of knowledge of other brands. He's now back in the repair business. I can't say he returns your call immediately but he does return it after some time. When he says he's going to come out, he does come out and he's punctual. Usually everything's fixed the first time. His service charges aren't terrible. He has repaired our dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and looked at our oven. He's pretty reasonable and we are happy with his prices. If I call him on a Friday afternoon I'm not going to hear from him till Monday.
