Pest-X Exterminating

Maybe the flea treatment was weak, but I had to go buy product at the store to finally get rid of the fleas. The small ants continued to be a problem, and I again bought store product to get rid of them, and also spiders. Very disappointed.

The first cockroach treatment didn't seem to work. Cockroaches came back about month later. I called back but it was 10 days out of the first 30 days period so I have to pay the same amount as the first treatment. I said no thanks. Pest control for ants didn't seem to work well. Ants keeps coming back. The guy who comes and treats the house is very professional and always on time.

Technician showed up on time. He inspected my daughters home and gave advice on treatment, structural improvements, and future needs. Completed his treatment quickly and completely.

The service was excellent. Crystal promptly contacted me to set up the appointment and she clearly explained all of the options and procedures. Scott, the technician, arrived punctually. He was very professional in first explaining everything and then conducting the treatment.

I purchased a preventive maintenance and termite inspection from PestX. Technician Greg Blevins was prompt, thorough, and did an excellent job. He sprayed indoor places I requested and outdoors, mopped cobwebs on the porch and other outdoor areas on the house, inspected the air vents and crawlspace, termite inspection, and made recommendations. I will use PestX again in the future!

Technician arrived on time, was courteous and professional; I felt the price paid was reasonable when compared to other pest control services I had contacted.

The problems were gone the next day.

They arrived one hour early, I was not at home. A tenant let them in. They sprayed rooms that I did not want sprayed. I never met them, so I cannot comment on their professionalism, etc.

good. Tech called almost at appt time to state was 1/2 hour behind.

Vicky with Pest-X called to check on the issues I was having. She sent her technician back out and he did a VERY thorough job: pelts, spray....inside & out, and knocked down the cobwebs. I moved the dog house next to my house and found an ant bed under it. That was likely the cause of the ants that continued after the first treatment.

So far the ants are at bay. But I am seeing more spiders and ever, two weeks after treatment.

I haven't seen any spiders or bugs since they came out.

Great. They were prompt and professional on the phone and in person. We would have used them on an ongoing basis but at the moment we just don't have room in our monthly budget. Would definitely recommend.

The friendly company headquarters sent us Service Manager, Richard White, who explained to us what needed to be done and patiently answered our questions no matter how trivial it could have sounded to him. He also told us that should we not like anything during the treatment to please contact him. He kept checking on the progress of the work periodically. Their experienced crew arrived on time on a scheduled day and performed flawlessly. Joshua, Damien and Sean completed difficult work very well and left the job site clean. We would highly recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

They did advise that it would require three treatments to see any results over the phone. To me, this offer was just a lure to have you purchase more treatments. In the past when I have used a pest control company, one treatment per year was all that was required. Had ants crawling up the outside wall of my house just two days after treatment so, makes me wonder if they sprayed the outside of the house. They did check for termites and none were found so...happy to get that news.

Pest X was quick to respond to my Angie's List message. Vicki Felton walked me through the different services Pest X provides. After our phone conversation, she sent me the information via e-mail. After deciding to hire Pest-X, I was able to schedule a service within the week. My technician Scott Smith was professional, punctual, and very friendly. He answered all my questions and helped me sign up for a termite warranty. Pest-X's prices seem reasonable (I have not done a lot of price comparisons for pest control). They offer different payment schedules which is convenient. Setting up service with them was a lot easier than I expected it to be. I am very pleased with their high level of customer service.

Scott did an excellent job. more than I expected. Very professional, knew his business well.

Thus far, everything was fantastic! Of course, today was our first and hopefully only treatment to eliminate the ants. When I initially called, the young woman (Vicki) asked specific questions about our ant problems and other pests. She thoroughly explained our options and available treatment packages without the slightest bit of sales pressure. Furthermore, she was able to handle any forms, or contracts electronically, thus making the entire process from beginning to end convenient for all the parties involved. She also made a point to tell me who would be coming to my home (Jacob) and why she chose to send that particular exterminator. She was ready to send someone out ASAP and made an appointment with a one hour window. Jacob was right on time- very punctual which made my partner and myself more comfortable. He was extremely knowledgeable about ants... their behavior patterns and how to best treat the problem. He first gathered information about our particular situation, analyzed the areas of occurrences and then went to work. As he applied the pesticide he explained what each step of his process. He encouraged us to ask questions without "dumbing down" any information. He was upfront and explained it would perhaps take a few weeks before we stopped seeing any signs of the ants. Besides getting rid of the ants, another major concern of ours was our two dogs and Jacob addressed the safety concerns before we had a chance to even ask. We were/are confident in his abilities, he's trustworthy, very professional, and personable young man. We're impressed with the company, people and the service, we plan on staying with this company for preventative services and any problem that may arise. Very pleased with this company all the way around! Oh and the price was very reasonable, too.

The man's punctual and friendly, his work is thorough, and excellent. The roach infestation is less every time. I signed up for regular visits the price is excellent. I should have contracted this company a long time ago

Fine. Jacob was very friendly and helpful. He told me the crawl space is damp (which I knew) and has a lot of rodent drippings, which I had not known but suspected. He made some suggestions and left me with papers to review. No pressure sales!

Work was done quickly and there was no left-over mess - it appeared to be a thorough job with good explanations of the work being done.
