Wakefield Flooring

Working with Wakefield Flooring was a mess, with James being really rude to me, but I can deal with men who get frustrated when mistakes happen (like them having us move items back into the house before the job was done and James taking pictures of one pair of underwear on the floor, having fallen out when we were moving laundry, and harassing me with that to say we were slobs, when they weren’t even supposed to be at the house that day). James will likely reply to this with a he said she said sort of shaming, but this next problem is indefensible: now our flooring is breaking and they won’t respond to me when I’ve tried to contact them. I think it’s a manufacturer error, but it could be installation. I know my daughter’s motorized wheelchair is part of the wear, but they knew we needed something that could handle that. The LVP boards are lifting and the corners breaking. It’s troubling that they won’t stand by their work or help facilitate communication with the manufacturer. (Also, if anyone knows how to get in touch with Nuvelle flooring, who made our LVP, I’d appreciate it!) ((I do see James likes to post personal emails to make himself look innocent here. If you saw all of our emails and knew that they cleared us to move items back into the house before they were completely done with the job, whatever he posts out of context in response to this is carefully selected to make himself look good. The real question for him is “have you responded to Shannon about the damage and pictures she has sent you?” He hasn’t.)

After having some not so good results on a tile installation in our bathroom from another contractor we had Wakefield Flooring install new hardwood floors, carpet, and stretch the existing carpet in our home. Job was done right the first time and completed in one day.

We went to the showroom and looked at samples. they were very helpful. The owner came out and measured and gave suggestions. We then quickly got a quote via email. We accepted the quote and they scheduled the work. 3 or 4 men came out on schedule and completed the work in a day. The floors look good and the quality was good.

Wakefield Flooring were very good. They did a good job for us. We had some small problems afterwards and they immediately came back and took care of it. They were very responsive. They were very nice about doing that. They came out quickly to give us a price when we asked them to come out and set up a price. They were able to schedule us in quickly.

I've used them before. What I liked about it is that they come out and give you the quote. They listen to you. They make sure that you are satisfied with the type of product. It's a small business. They are very honest, they don't change the price.

When they came to give us an estimate, they were very thorough about what was included in the cost, which is something i liked, no surprises. It turned out their estimate was lower than others I had gotten and the description of their work seemed comparable so we decided to hire them I was pleased with their timeliness and work. Always very attentive and polite. It took a little longer to finish the job than the anticipated, but did a great job.
