I was promised that a crew leader who speaks English would be on the job all day, and he did not show up. I called Charles about 2 hours into the job to report that there was no one supervising the men, and to tell him that there were also shingles all over my yard and that no one was picking anything up. (This was certainly not the way he'd explained the work would be done). I basically had to oversee the job myself, pointing out to Charles places where they'd left gaps in the underlayment, for example, once he finally arrived himself (after 1:30). He kept assuring me that they would do the job right. I'm not so confident, and I don't know how HE can be, given the lack of supervision. I'm glad I bought the upgraded 10-year workmanship warranty, but I hope he'll still be in business! Personally, I value honesty and peace-of-mind, and I wish I'd hired a different company.

Charles came out twice to inspect the roof. The first time he couldn't get on the roof due to snow but spent two hours explaining the different roof shingles. He came back a few days later to do a complete inspection of the roof and found the chimney to be in bad shape and recommended removing it as it was not being used. His crew arrived Monday morning just after 7:00 am and had the old roof off by 9:00. They replaced defective sheathing boards and trim, removed the chimney, installed the new roof and cleaned up by 7:00 pm the same day. The roof size was 20 squares.
