The company was very responsive to an estimate request and provided a competitive estimate. They showed up exactly when they said they would and did an excellent job removing several large trees that required the use of a crane. All of the workers were very professional and courteous and carefully worked to minimize any yard damage. They cleaned the yard afterwards by raking and blowing. I definitely give them my highest recommendation.

We could not have been more pleased with the service. We were able to get a quote soon after we requested it. Their quote was the most competitive. When we did decide to go with Raleigh Tree Service, we got an appointment within about 2 weeks (which is what we had originally been told). On the day of the work, the team showed up on time and spent time scoping out the job. They took care when setting up the crane not to damage our yard. They were able to do about half of the job using the crane, and the other half they had to cut and haul out. They were every efficient, and very careful. No damage from all these trees coming down. They really knew what they were doing. They also put back everything as best could be expected (they had removed a couple of fence segments) and cleaned up our backyard and our cul-de-sac - doing more than we expected. Going into this, we were anxious about how the job would go and what sort of mess we would be left with to clean-up, but we are just so pleased with the work and the professional nature of the workers. We don't have any trees left to cut, so we don't expect to need their services again, but we will certainly recommend them to anyone needing some trees removed.

Logan was correct, the crew was amazing. They arrived on time, took down a large dead tree by hand and hand carried it and all the debris out in about an hour. Other companies had told me it couldn't be done without damage to either my or the neighbor's fence and trees, there was no damage whatsoever to anyone's property and the only thing left was a little sawdust. They even moved about 10 of my planters, some quite large, out of the way and put them back before leaving. Excellent job, I would definitely recommend and call them again.

Did a good job removing the trees and hauling them away at a fair price with only some ruts in the yard from their loader. 2 large negatives, though..... 1. Safety: Both trees had to be lifted over our house with their boom truck and we understood that. But they took the first crane grab over the neighbor's house instead - no warning to the neighbors (who were in the house), no discussion, no permission. Subsequent crane picks went over our house - which we expected. 2. The transaction: There are apparently 3 partners in the company. One came and gave the estimate on one tree. The other 2 partners arrived with the tree crew. One of the partners made it clear that the first partner had quoted way too low and recommended that we take out the other tree. He offered a "cash" price to do it that day. It seemed fair as well, so we agreed. When it came time to pay, and I handed him a check, he became visibly angry and said that he meant real cash. I told him that I didn't keep that kind of cash in the house and asked why he would want cash for one tree but would take a check for the other. Seemed a little suspicious, but he backed down and took the check.

The logistics of this job were difficult ... but they solved the issues with absolutely no damage to our property. They are efficient courteous and professional. We will always call North Raleigh Tree Service for any tree removal/trimming needs.

They were great, they made it look easy! They completed the job and cleaned up, it was like they weren’t there except there were 8 less trees on the property. I had multiple tree companies come out and North Raleigh Tree gave me the best quote of them all and I couldn’t be happier with the work they performed! Highly recommended! This was a crane service as well, so quick and clean.

We were very pleased with the work done. The crew was very professional. They removed three trees in under an hour. We were very impressed with the cleanup that was done as well. Their rates are very competitive. We would definitely use them again.

The tree was leaning over both my neighbor's house and (to a lesser extent) ours. The removal required a crane, with lifting of the tree parts over our mutual fences (a somewhat tricky procedure that required >4 hours). The crew was careful and expert in all aspects of the work required.

I contracted with North Raleigh Tree to take dow 5 rather large trees, all of which were very close to our house...within 10 feet actually. The estimator showed up exactly on time, and gave us a quote that was far less than others. The crew showed up right on time, and got to work immediately. They were fascinating to watch, it is obvious that they all had their own job and knew it well. I do not know how much they pay the guy that was swinging among the branches 100 ft in the air, but it ain't enough! The trees were all down and cut as I had asked, the smaller branches were chipped and blown in the yard as I wanted, and all the small debris was raked up in about 3 hours. Amazing. They even took the time to smooth the gravel drive that got a little rutted from the equipment. They were all very careful and respected my property. I would definately use this Company again, and highly recommend that anyone needing tree service give them a call.

I had several trees removed and several other trees trimmed back. It was really a great job performed quickly and everything was cleaned up afterward. I'm so impressed with the professionalism and the results are excellent. My house no longer has trees pressed against it, or one tree hiding another tree, it all looks so much cleaner and attractive from the entire process. The crew who came to our house did a fantastic job. The trees we needed to have cut down were not the easiest to get to, but they navigated our yard with ease. They were polite and left our yard looking neat. We were directed to NR Tree Service by friends, and we will do the same for others. Thanks for a job well done.

Kevin and his team were great to work with! Responded quickly to my request for a quote, booked the service and did a great job! Received three quotes and NorthRaleigh was the most reasonable with the strongest reviews! Even cut up some debris that wasn't included in the original quote! Would hire again without hesitation!

They showed up on time and did a great job! Just what we asked them to do. They removed the trees and all the tree trash. The driveway looked like no work had even been done. The guys were very nice, polite....easy to work with. I will definitely call them again.

I had a great experience with North Raleigh Tree Service. They were fast, fair and attentive to my needs as a homeowner. We had them take down ten trees in our backyard that has a very tight driveway and limited footprint to work. I thought they did a fantastic job in less than ideal conditions and with no damage to the house. They did run over a few of my wife’s plants by the street, but Kevin Kenny (owner) was quick to make that situation right with my wife and I thank him for his attention to this. Dave

Went well. Fast, prompt, courteous service. Only negative was somewhat skimpy cleanup.

Great. They were able to remove the tree without any complications that other tree services said would be likely (for instance, one service said we had to remove an additional tree to get to the one we wanted removed, and another said part of our road would need to be shut down for their equipment). They were able to remove this very large tree in only a few hours with absolutely no damage to my property. And, they were half the price or less than every other service who gave us a quote! My only complaint was that the stump grinding service rescheduled a few times (the reason for the B rating on punctuality), but they were open in their communication and this follow-up service wasn't urgent so rescheduling wasn't a big deal.

This company had the lowest estimate of several companies and completed the job professionally. The crew was friendly, professional and punctual. My sprinkler system was not harmed in the process, but my lawn was significantly damaged which is why I gave an overall rating of B. I would use them again.

They did what they said they would do. I called them one day and the next day I had the quote and the following day the job was completed. I spoke with the crew lead and outlined the job and desired results. I also pointed out and marked some plantings and items that I did not want damaged. They took great care in avoiding collateral damage and cleaned up well. I've done business with three tree companies multiple times in the past 17 years and I would choose them again. I had other estimates but either they were excessive (priced influenced by my zip code), failed to return a call within two days of mine, or didn't respond to my call back after the quote within 3 days of my call.

This was an excellent experience from the start. Jerry, Field Rep, came out and walked around the area with my husband and I, took a few moments to come up with the cost, and then sat down and went over everything with us. Then prior to the work starting, Jerry again walked around with me and marked all the trees indicating trimming or removal. This was extremely reassuring to me that everything we wanted done was kept track of and we didn't have to worry that we'd forgotten something. I also want to mention the crew. The crew or team of young men were terrific! It was a very hot day and they were hard working, polite, and cleaned everything up when they were done. It was absolutely amazing to watch them work. We were told the stumps would be ground in one week and not surprisingly they showed up right on time. JP also came by, walked the area and made sure we had all the stumps taken care of. Needless to say we are extremely happy with the work done. We happen to live in a wooded lot and I am sure we will have them back in the future. My husband and I highly recommend North Raleigh Tree Service. You won't be disappointed.

They were fine. I liked him alot and they did a nice job but they kind of tore up my grass a little bit. They should be careful of the lawn. The trees were heavy and they didn't have a lift. They don't lift them out. They cut them down.

Jerry was an excellent representative for North Raleigh Tree Service, asked good questions, quoted me quickly, and had the tree removed within 48 hours of engaging him. Very friendly and non-disruptive to a kid who was napping inside the house. Jerry gave us the opportunity to keep the mulch from the trees, and since we had no use for it, they hauled it away themselves. Not the cheapest option I found, but no regrets due to the caliber of work performed. Excellent service, thank you Jerry!
