Fantastic service. They had a cancellation and was able to schedule me quickly. Most of the downstairs was hardwood and we had planned to just have them refinish it since the previous owners of the house used Orange glow on the floors and ruined them horribly. The living room was the only downstairs room with carpet that needed to be replaced. We were going to replace it with more carpet but was surprised by the cost to carpet just that one room. JH was able to give me a quote to add hardwood to the living room too that would match the rest of the downstairs for not much more than carpet. Even with adding that extra task they still finished on schedule and within the quoted budget and the floor looks amazing. Everyone who sees the floors comments on how beautiful they look. Could not be more pleased.

Jason and his team did a wonderful job! We replace the floors in our entire home and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. Jason was communicative, he started on time and finished according to the schedule he gave us at the beginning. The quality of the work is wonderful, we are very happy with our new floors.

Jason worked with us to refinish hardwoods throughout the downstairs to get our home ready for sale. He answered phone and text messages promptly, provided a fast, reasonable estimate, and suggested the least disruptive ways around our being out of the home for the week it took to do the job. We appreciated his team moving 3 rooms of heavy furniture into the garage and back again when floors were done. Our floors now look spectacular!

The end result looks wonderful. We couldn't be more pleased. Jason and his crew were great to work with. They were very punctual and let us know if they were going to be held up for any reason. Jason was good about communicating with us. The guys arrived when they said they would, worked a full day and left things in good shape at the end of each day. We initially hired Jason to install new flooring on our first floor a few years ago. Jason and his team did a great job then and were once again awesome to work with - doing the hardwood flooring installation for the second floor this time around. He was quick to respond to my request for an estimate. We were quickly able to schedule a time for him to stop by to take measurements, and he provided a clear, fair price for the work within a day. He was also able to help identify a flooring supplier to purchase materials at a competitive price. Jason and his team were professional, courteous, and did a great job on the project. They worked to complete our project as quickly as possible without delays, and actually completed it sooner than initially expected. They also made sure to thoroughly clean up each evening and organize any tools out of the way that would need to stay at my home to continue work the next day. This was much appreciated! Overall, it was a smooth and hassle-free process working with Jason on our flooring project...which is exactly what you want when having any home improvements done, especially something as significant as new flooring installation.

Outstanding experience from start to finish. Shayne was very helpful helping us decide an appropriate flooring product. Jason was continually in touch before and during the project. We never had to guess when, where, or what. A very pleasant change from other contractor experiences. JH was prompt, communicated, completed the project on schedule and provided insights and guidance. Quality installation. I couldn't ask for more.

JH did a fabulous job on my floors. They stripped and restrained the hardwoods throughout my home. They were punctual and courteous. Most of all they worked in a very timely manner so we were able to start enjoying our floors sooner than we thought. Doing the floors made our home feel updated and new! Great investment in our home.

Other than everything pretty much going as planned, and a job well done, Jason of JH Floor Co. consistently did what I value highly - communicated. From initial contact through Angie's list, through the finishing the job on time and on schedule Jason kept in touch immediately at every important phase. We rescheduled very slightly - twice - and it was never an issue because I knew what was happening. Jason was an 'add on' from a long job we had due to water damage. Although the quality of work from the previous vendors was high, it was a long frustrating process, simply because I didn't know what to expect on a daily basis. If a future customer values the same things that I do - then I highly recommend JH Floor Co.

Jason and his crew did a great job. We have a "challenging" kitchen floor and they were up to the challenge. The crew were on time, did a great job and cleaned up after the work was completed. I heartily recommend JH Floor.

I purchased an 80 year old bungelow having hard pine floors that had been completely abused. The floors had no finish, numerous scratches, multiple deep gauges, wide gaps, and ground in dirt that was nasty. One section of flooring had been cut out for an old heating vent, and eventually covered with plywood. JH Floor sanded, stained, applied 3 coats of polyurethane , installed shoe molding, and repaired the hole in the floor; all that within a reasonable cost. No one expected the floors to look good, but we only hoped they would be acceptable until such time they could be replaced. We were totally amazed at what Jason and Jamie did to the floors--they look incredible. They look so good we are not going to replace them. The second thing I must mention is that I had to reschedule the work two times because of water issues with the house. Jason took it in stride, and rescheduled all the while assuring me that I was not disrupting his schedule at all. I appreciated his attitude because I felt so guilty for having to cancel. I know a lot of people discount reviews with extremely high ratings -' but JH Floor is the real deal. Quality work, quality service, and quality prices. If I ever decide to replace these floors I will be contacting JH Floor to do the work.

We hired JH Floors to refinish our worn out hardwood flooring on our main floor. Jason was a pleasure to communicate with, in regard to getting estimates and scheduling. Once we were scheduled, he touched base with me prior to the start date to reconfirm, which I appreciated. They were hired to remove all furniture, sand and make any needed repairs, prepare some sample areas of stain for our consideration, then stain and polyurethane the floors, add new quarter-rounds, and return to replace the furniture. Jason and/or his crew arrived promptly every morning, they were always professional and pleasant, they worked hard and did an excellent job. They were careful with our furniture, and were considerate of leaving the house each day as tidy as they possibly could. I found them to be trustworthy, which is important when handing over the key and leaving for a few days. Also, the dust created wasn't terrible because they used special equipment, and did their best to clean as they went. The floors turned out beautifully. I'd happily hire them again or recommend them!

From tune initial contact Jason became a trusted advisor and had great communication. We purchased a home and wanted to the have the work completed prior to move in. Jason helped select the product and completed the work while we were more than 800 miles away. Craftsmanship was well done and both floors look better than we envisioned. Still have one level to complete and I would not hesitate in using his services again.

JH Flooring did an amazing job with our hardwood floors. This is the second time we have used JH flooring. After 6 or 7 years, large dogs, growing boys and their friends have taken a toll on our floors. It was time to have our floors refinished. Jason and the whole crew from JH flooring are detail oriented professionals. They noticed slight irregularities in the floors and made repairs. They even created custom color for the floor. We had many options of colors, and they showed us options of colors in different parts of the house so we could evaluate the color in different light. I am thrilled with the way our floors look. I had no idea they could look brand new again. In addition to doing a great job with the floors, JH flooring moved our furniture with care. They are people I feel I can trust in my home, with our furniture and certainly with our hardwood floors. They were always on time, pleasant and passionate about the work they do. Jason was responsive, professional and prompt. His team, Jamie and Justin, were as well. From the appointment for estimate to the final coat of poly, all work was timely and of excellent quality. I interacted with Jason and/or team on several occasions: estimate, floor sample to choose stain, repairing of boards and morning work started. I am a stay at home Mom and was comfortable having the men in my home (not so with all contractors!) I would refer JH Floors to any friends or family without hesitation. Their pricing was competitive as well. You won't go wrong with JH Floors!!

Jason came over for an initial consultation and we discussed a "ballpark price", he emailed me a quote that evening and he came in under his original estimate, the final quote was 30% below two other estimates for the same work. We discussed scheduling via email and he was responsive even when I had to reschedule at 10 pm the night before our color sampling appointment. Jason came back a week later to do the flooring replacement and we discussed what his crew would be doing the week of the refinishing. He was very clear about existing flaws in the original floors that would most likely not come out after their sanding, he did a great job of setting the right expectation for me. The other two companies I had spoken to both said dust would be an issue and recommended we move to a hotel for the week. Jason was confident his dustless vacuum system would contain any major issues and recommended we stay in the house to save the cost on the hotel. On day one of refinishing I asked his crew to put up plastic barrier on both sides of the two doorways they would be covering for dust. They did it without question but later I realized it was totally unnecessary because the only dust I ever saw the whole week was on the lawn from moving equipment. They were very clear about the schedule for each day and kept to it. It was a 6 day process and there were no delays or last minute changes. Many of the marks they said wouldn't come out did and our floors look much better than I had hoped. After renovating my 1949 bungalow for the last year I have found that there are three components I require when working with any contractor or sub-contractor; efficient communication, clear expectations and a quality product. Jason and the guys at JH Flooring met all 3 of these criteria nad I would highly recommend them to anyone considering replacing or refinishing their floors.

Jason was wonderful to work with. We had just purchased a home in Cary NC and we wanted to have all the flooring replaced prior to us moving in. We had multiple big name flooirng companies come over and they were just people looking to make a sale. Jason came over, took the time to measure the floors and really evaluate the job. For instance, the family room flooring wasn't level. When I brought this up to other companies they said that they were installing a floating floor and it wouldn't be a problem. I didn't exactly believe that...Jason was the only one that brought it up first and stepped through on what the corrective actions would be for this issue and that there would be an associated cost. Right after that I knew that Jason was the person that I was going to hire. We went away for the holidays and when we came back the floors were done and far exceeded my expectations!!! My house looks like a whole new home. It was warmer and move inviting. The level of professionalism and attention to detail is awesome!! I would recommend them to anyone looking to get their floors done!!

Perfectly. Jason and his co worker knocked off the job that another guy found too difficult to do in about 2 hours, and cleaned up everything. His price was also the lowest of anybody I contacted. Highly recommend him.

They did a fine job. The guy was good, showed up on time, and did a good job. He also cleaned up when he was done.

Jason and his father were great to work with. Their work was impeccable and their attitudes and approach to the job were amazing. Normally we uncomfortable having contractors in our house, but that wasn?t the case with Jason. It was like having your neighbors over, who just happen to be able to lay hardwood. They?re clean-up was also great, which was greatly appreciated. Jason pointed out some areas of concern and issues with our plywood flooring but instead of making a big deal about it he took care of it without acting like it was a huge hassle. During the bidding phase Jason was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. It really irks me when contractors won?t take the time to answer questions about their bid, work or schedule. Jason?s communication was awesome. He recommended a great floor supplier who was also easy to work with. I?ve worked with a lot of contractors and these gentlemen are the best. It says a lot about a contractor if you would invite them over for a BBQ after the job is complete and we totally would!

These are the people that you want to hire. They worked quickly, arrived on time and when I opened the door I was shocked. I envisioned that the floors would look good but what I saw was beyond my expectations. My floors look beautiful. The shoe molding is flush and clean looking and the whole job was just top notch. The cost was reasonable and it was actually slightly less expensive than the two other estimates I got. That was not the reason that I hired Jason and team, however. He is experienced and at the time I inquired about setting up a time to do the installation, I found out that he was pretty much booked solid. He was very professional and therefore I had no trouble whatsoever writing him a check for a job well done that truly exceeded my expectations.

We are still undecided on flooring, which is totally our fault and the job has not been completed.
