Jeff's Drywall and Painting

Jeff came out to discuss the job with me. He was on time and talked with me about my color choices and types of paint and approximate cost for everything. He didn't balk at my bold color choices. I had a good feeling about working with Jeff. Jeff and his crew are very busy so it took a few weeks to get everything scheduled, but when the day came they were right on time and did a great job. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves too. The guys were very friendly and (important to me) they liked/tolerated my dog. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things but makes a big difference to me. I will definitely hire them again and have already recommended them to a friend.

It went great!!! Jeff and his team were the most pleasant and polite of folks! They were always on time, worked diligently, and answered any questions we had from the color selection process all the way through the final punch list. Moreover, it was clear that these gentlemen both enjoy their work and take great pride in its quality. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in need of having their home painted!

Very well. The professional painters were diligent, friendly and hard workers. Jeff provided input on color recommendations and provided a detailed estimate for each room. These details were a terrific reference point as I added and subtracted from the work order a few times.

I had moved into a house where the exterior had not been kept up, and needed all exterior trim, a pool house, arbor and porch area painted, and some wood features stained. Jeff and his crew are extremely professional, expert painters, and used the highest quality products. The house is large, but they worked so quickly and efficiently in 90F+ temperatures to get the job done. The crew was always on time, polite, considerate, and listened to any suggestions or concerns I had. Jeff had immense patience helping me choose the correct colors for wood stained areas and brought multiple samples to try to make sure they got it right. The price was more than fair and in keeping with the estimate. I feel very lucky that a friend recommended him and his operation, and heartily recommend him to others.

Jeff's operation is truly a class act. This was a difficult job having to remove wallpaper, fix and repair walls and paint all walls, trim and ceilings including kitchen and other cabinets, a large cathedral bead board ceiling in 8 rooms and 2 hallways. All of this was done in 4 weeks with several guys in the crew who were extremely professional, cordial and helpful in choosing and mixing colors and choosing the correct paint finish. Some of these men including Jeff and Tommy are real artists at doing this. They were always on time, and left the areas clean at the end of each day. The pricing was exactly in the range of the quote and what I expected to pay for this difficult job. I will have them back again to do my upstairs soon.

Jeff's team of men were wonderful to work with. They showed up on time and worked and then cleaned up. They were very respectful of my home and just good people. Jeff checked on them and the job often. Could not be more pleased.

Jeff never received my email with selected dates to schedule the job, nor was he aware I had purchased the special. His preference for contact is via phone and the "deal" did not state such. After a lengthy discussion this week about the miscommunication, I want to retract my previous review. It is apparent that Jeff is a conscientious professional who takes great pride in his company and the work they provide. Due to time constraints I was unable to use the deal, and Angie's List refunded my payment. I will, however, have no reservations to purchase another deal with Jeff's Drywall and Painting. I am certain their work is stellar.

Jeff and his crew were prompt and professional. The process took 3 days which was an appropriate amount of time for the number of rooms and additional work that I had requested. Jeff had suggestions for paint colors and finishes for specific rooms and they turned out very well. I would not hesitate to contact Jeff again in the future for a quote for interior/exterior painting, drywall repair, and power washing.

Jeff staying in close contact prior to work starting and made sure he had all of the paint colors correct prior to beginning. He recommended using Benjamin Moore paint and even came out and showed us what one color would look like prior to beginning work. I will say that this saved us from making a mistake on a color choice. Who else would take the time to do this for a customer? Once the work started Jeff and his crew were on time each day and they worked efficiently and provided great advice during the process. I was on the fence about painting a downstairs hallway a different color, but the lead painter assured it would turn out well and he was right! I have painted a few rooms here and there, but I will say that it really pays to have professionals do the job right. The rooms turned out great and really helped us when it came time to list our home as we had an offer within one day. We liked the work so much I had Jeff and his crew paint 7 rooms in my new home prior to moving in. All I can say is that Jeff and his crew really seem to enjoy their work and the process was great from start to finish. Jeff and his crew and great guys and have a lot of experience. His quotes were very reasonable and he can also fix a lot of drywall problems as well as power washing, carpentry, etc. You will be glad you contacted him!

Excellent work. Really enjoyed the crew of Ron and Tommy. Very professional and friendly. They even replaced my flood lights that I had not replaced in years.

We had just purchased a new home that had not only very ugly colors, but the worst paint job I have ever seen. Jeff and his crew did an amazing job fixing the botched paint job they started with. They can definitely paint a straight line! Jeff will even help with the color selection and went through a great deal of trouble to match tile colors in a bathroom. Repairs to the drywall were needed in many areas, as well as numerous nail holes and other defects that needed patching. I was very happy with the efficiency and friendliness of the crew (all are extremely nice people). They were very careful to clean up and intrude as little as possible. Our home looks new again - what a transformation! Fabulous job at a reasonable price. Awesome painters!

Wonderful job at a fair price! Jeff and his crew started when promised and finished on time. Some boards needed to be replaced. There were no "surprises" with price or quality. The crew was very friendly and efficient. I would definitely hire again. Thanks, Jeff and your crew, for making the outside of our home new again!

We hired Jeff's drywall & painting. I can't praise this company enough. The quality of their work was excellent. No shortcuts. Any drywall that needed repair they repaired it beautifully prior to painting. They were promt, very neat and superior customer service.

My husband and I hired Jeff's Drywall and Painting in October for popcorn removal and painting in our entire house. Jeff's crew; Jeff, Tommy, John, and Ronnie were experts with what they did. The whole popcorn removal process took about two to three weeks. Yes, it was extremely messy and life became uncomfortable but they cleaned up behind themselves well and our ceilings look brand new. The job they did with the popcorn was very impressive. As for the painting, they did a fantastic job as well. The painting took them about a week to complete, they came back after the main project was over and caulked and painted fresh crown molding we installed. Once they left, we had floors installed through the entire house and they returned promptly after that was finished to caulk and paint our new quarter round molding and stairs. Their skill painting was amazing and everything turned out beautiful. They were great to work with. They arrived at our house right on time and started working immediately. They kept us informed. Communication is excellent. Jeff picked up a phone call every time and if he missed a phone call, he called us back. We are very pleased with the result of our home – they did an amazing job. We will absolutely use them again in the future. We highly recommend Jeff’s Drywall and Painting and you won’t regret it!

Everything was installed to my satisfaction and the mud works was excellent.

Jeff and his crew were very communicative through out the project, both face to face and via text messaging. They were prompt daily to the job and stayed a very full few days completing the prep and then painting. The team cleaned up the job site each day so it was not unsightly and myself and family could safely get around my house and yard. Jeff and or his crew walked through the job daily with me and made sure I was happy with the work being done as they progressed. This is the second time I've had my house painted and I can really tell the difference in quality and attention to detail Jeff brought to the job. Trim lines are crisp with no over spray, repair work is either not noticable or hardly noticeable unless you know where to look and the house looks like new overall. Overall I had a great experience with Jeff and his crew and will use them for other painting jobs I have in the future

Great group. The crew consists of four people, including Jeff. They did a great job. My home looks beautiful. I would recommend them to friends and family.

COMMENTS RE JEFF'S PAINTING AND DRYWALL SERVICE I had the good fortune of working with Jeff and his team to have some much needed painting and drywall repair work completed so I could sell my home. Over the years, I have repeatedly used a nationwide well advertised company for lack of a better reference. In reality, Jeff's service is FAR SUPERIOR in every way imaginable from start to finish. NOW THAT I SEE WHAT A QUALITY JOB LOOKS LIKE, I AM EMBARRASED BY THE WORK PERFORMED BY THE PREVIOUS COMPANY THROUGHOUT MY HOME MULIPLE TIMES SINCE 2007!!! THE SHORTCUTS THEY TOOK!! THE LACK OF PRIDE THE PREVIOUS COMPANY HAS SHOWN REPEATEDL!!! DO NOT MAKE THAT MISTAKE. DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. Call Jeff!!! Jeff promptly replied to my very first call. He is most pleasant, humble, and gracious. I found him to be honest, thorough, and prompt from the first encounter, with the original written estimate for all the work provided within 24 hours of my request. When we began the actual work, his crew arrived promptly between 8 and 8:15 each morning, which was unlike the nationally known, well advertised sloppy company who typically arrived between 9:30 and 10:00 - regardless of their commitment to start at 8:00 am. As well, Jeff's crew never took lunch breaks while the other company took nearly two hours daily and quit before 5pm. Until Jeff's team came along, I accepted the absolutely inferior rushed work of the larger well known company. I accepted their sloppy paint jobs with paint dripping onto moldings, hardware, flooring. Never complaining. Well, my eyes were opened when I saw the results of the super professional drywall repair and painting of Jeff's team. You cannot even tell where patchwork was done while work done by the previous inept team has left LARGE 2-3 inch diameter rounds of patchwork under the so called final paint job. It is evident to me that the well known company sends UNTRAINED AND INEXPERIENCED folks to your home to complete a job that requires a professional. That said, EVERY PAINTER on Jeff's team, including Jeff, takes absolute pride in every step of the work they perform. They clean up every single day so you can live in your home space unobstructed by drop cloths or 5 gallon barrels of paint or ladders. They use a very special vacuum that sucks up all the debris that results from sanding patched drywall areas, the paint dust other painters allow to land all over your belongings. They sweep. THEY OPERATE AS IF YOU ARE THEIR MOST CRITICAL CUSTOMER THEY HAVE EVER HAD TO WORK WITH. They honestly give you the royalty treatment. I know I continue to be amazed by WHO THESE PEOPLE ARE BY THE WORK ETHIC THEY LIVE AND BREATHE. But they are personable and just extremely enjoyable to be around and have in your home. They worked around my crazy health issues and medical appointments and honestly, I can say they are a blessing amongst all the service providers you can employ. They are simply not satisfied until the job meets their own very high expectations, which believe me are even higher than your own. I trust them totally to not short circuit or skip the steps needed to do the best work. They even fixed errors the previous painters stuck me with - on their own dime. Now where do you find that kind of goodhearted need these days? I must add that Jeff's prices are reasonable and competitive, but more importantly they are more than worth every penny. Plus consider Jeff's prices are NOT higher than the company that took my money and didn't do a satisfactory job. I would hire Jeff again in a heartbeat. In fact, he is already on my call list for the next home I purchase before the end of the year. Try him. YOU WILL BE SO PLEASED YOU DID!!!

Excellent drywall repair, corners and seams are now done correctly. Very happy with the painting and overall job. Included a large amount of scaffold work on tall ceiling and walls.

We had five painters come to our home to give us estimates on fixing many, many sheet rock problems, ceiling cracks and tape issues, nail pops, and even a hole in the ceiling of a closet...don't ask! We also wanted the entire interior of our home painted including walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and garage. Jeff's price was very reasonable for the amount of work we needed done. We have multiple two story ceilings so this was a big job. We are so glad we chose Jeff's Drywall and Painting. Jeff offered help with paint colors which we really needed. He is a master craftsman and really cares about doing a good job. He doesn't like to use the word "perfect" but Jeff and his crew did as perfect a job as humanly possible in our home, and I should know as I am a perfectionist. I would recommend Jeff's company without hesitation. Jeff's Drywall and Painting literally transformed our fifteen year old home!

It went extremely well! Jeff and crew fixed drywall flaws that the original contractor never did correct. The drywall tape in one of the corners had not been applied well and was pulling away from the drywall. He replaced the old drywall tape and made it right. He also fixed a ceiling seam in the Cathedral Ceiling that was also taped poorly and made the seam straight. He also fixed many other drywall blemishes, nail pops and poor finishing jobs. This required a lot of sanding, but it looks great! Jeff uses premium paint and it shows. He also spent three or four hours helping us to pick paint colors. We love the color selections! Everything coordinates well! His crew did a great job! Jeff walked through the house and noted anything that needed to be touched up. He corrected and fixed any spots that needed touch up. The crew cleaned up well. There was very little drywall dust or paint residue. They moved all the furniture to paint and moved it all back. Jeff takes pride in his work and has been in the business for years. He has a small crew of five or so or only hires painters that have 15 years experience or more.
