i didn't take the offer. apparently, the payment was just a reason to come out to my house and tell me the tree trimming would cost more than what i paid.

I had some recent landscaping that they worked around with no problems.

I have used this service several times. They do nice work and clean up the site when they are done. Prices seem to be in range with other services.

We first checked the reviews on here, before contacting Gonzalez Tree Care. They were wonderful! My husband called, they came out the next day and gave a very reasonable estimate. They came today and removed a large Hickory tree. There were about 6 people. With the exception of the tree being gone (we left the stump), you can't even tell anyone was in our yard! THAT is how neat they left it. They did a wonderful job. I was at work when they came, but my husband was here. He too said they did a great job and he and I are both very happy. I came home just before they left and when I saw the backyard, there was not one shred of indication anyone had even been back there! We are very happy with their work and in the future, we would definitely use them again. I would absolutely highly recommend this company. Five stars, across the board! Thank you, Gonzalez Tree Care! We will be using you again.

He originally contacted me on Saturday after I messaged him. After I contacted him and sent him a photo of the pile of limbs, he gave me an estimate. His crew arrived 8:15 AM Saturday morning (one week later) and removed all the limbs. I had an additional small pile of limbs and we negotiated an additional cost for that. His crew removed all the limbs and cleaned up. I was impressed with how quickly the work was done and how efficiently. I would definitely hire them again.

Very pleased with the entire experience. He met me at the agreed time to look over the work and give me an estimate. When ask when he could do the work Mr. Gonzales told me that same day. By five all 28 trees were gone, stumps ground, and everything nicely cleaned up. Other tree services I contacted were slow to return calls and only able to come by to give an estimate weeks in the future. Mr.Gonzalez met me the next day after calling him. When I started my search he wasn't my first choice, but in the future he will be. I highly recommend him.

They cleaned up beautifully and I had no complaints. They were very reliable about coming and were very careful about everything. They were less expensive than other people by far. They had a good price and great service. I paid $1000 per property.

They removed three trees and numerous overgrown shrubs planted nearly thirty years ago. They arrived promptly with a great deal of equipment, worked quickly and efficiently, and left our yard clean. I would recommend them to everyone. They were professional and responded to our first call promptly.

I want to thank Angie?s List, for providing me information on Gonzales Tree Care. They are some of the most professional people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Brian came by and we discussed and agreed on the scope of the work, remove a total of six trees, trim two large limbs from a Maple, and raise the canopy on another. They also were to grind the stumps on all tree removals, hall off all limbs and debris and completely clean up the site. He provided me with a written estimate and telephone numbers so I could verify insurance. The crew of six arrived at our home at 1:45 PM on a Friday and began to work. Within the hour Mr. Gonzalez the owner of the company came by to make sure everything was going smoothly and see if we were pleased with the process. Then a few minutes later, Brian, the estimator, came by to make sure everything we discussed was being done. By 4:00 PM, Ricky the onsite supervisor was checking to make sure I was pleased with their work, and they were on their way. There were no additional surprises or costs involved. I would highly recommend Gonzales Tree Care to anyone needing this type of work; I could not be more pleased with the outcome!

Did a fantastic job, quick and professional.

Total time including initial visit for estimate and job was 2.5hrs. Estimate on Wednesday, job done on Saturday (If not this Saturday - owner would call to reschedule). Crew: two climbers, a grinder (not needed), a chipper, and two trucks for the debris, two ground/limb debis removers and grounds cleaners. They showed up on time and I walked with the crew as the limbs were cut and work was performed. No damage to adjacent shrubbery. I added some additional trimming work which they performed and we adjusted the price on the spot to reflect it. Very professional. I had hired them two prior times in the last 6 years in additional to other tree services that happened to be in the neighborhood when I needed some quick work done. They are very good and the value is good. I didn't want the cheapest service - I wanted it done right, on time, and professionally.

It went very well. I contacted Gonzalez Tree Service and he came out quickly. The cost was lower than what I expected. We didn't schedule a specific date for service as he was very busy but said he'd try to fit me in when in the neighborhood. Well, only a few days passed when I came home from work and the tree was gone! I will definitely call Gonzalez Tree Service again if I need this type of service. I highly recommend this service!

Exactly how we wanted to go.

They arrived on time, had the proper equipment, had an experienced crew that acted in a professional manner and completed the work in amazingly little time. Their tree man dropped branches from the two VERY large maples next to the busy road with very little disruption of traffic (sometimes you need to err on the side of caution) and precisely as intended and crew was quick to clear the site. I have used other tree services, but never one that provided such professional services at such reasonable rates. I highly recommend them.

This was a very difficult removal due to the fact that I live on a hill and my driveway is very steep and narrow, they had to remove each tree manually as well as getting down a steep incline. They were very careful and true professionals, they also did a wonderful job with cleanup. Well done.

Company removed trees but could have cleaned up better.

I have never used a tree service before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Because it was a small job for a very good price, I agreed to allow them to schedule the work on fairly short notice, when a crew was going to be in the area. The supervisor called me a couple days before the crew arrived, to let me know the date and approximate time. It rained early that morning, but they showed up close to the scheduled time. It didn't matter to me, because I did not need to be present for the work to be completed. Two men did the work, both very professional. They had good equipment and were clearly skilled at their jobs. The tree was infested with bag worms and wasps, which made for an additional challenge. The onsite foreman confirmed with me that I wanted the stump removed prior to beginning the work. The supervisor had recommended just pulling out the stump since it was a small tree. I pointed out the utility markings left by NC811 so they would be fully informed. They dispatched the tree quickly, pulled it out by the roots, shook off the loose soil, and left the site in good condition. The supervisor called to make sure I was happy after the job was completed. I am very pleased with the work!

Gonzalez was the most affordable of 3 quotes. Their crew came out the following day and worked like a well oiled machine. In 8 hours they had all the trees gone and the area cleaned up. You might want to ask them to make the call to "no cuts" to make sure all power and cable lines are marked by the city before work is done. They did a really good job!

I contacted Gonzalez Tree Care via Angie's list early in the day. Within a short time, the company requested my address and a short time later arrived to give an estimate. I accepted the estimate and the work was performed immediately. Within a short time, the tree was removed from its precarious perch on the shed. They cut it apart, and a few hours later, others came to remove the logs and clean up all the debris. They completed the job by blowing off the nearby area, then proceeded to blow debris off the entire driveway. They did the job they came to do and more.

Our experience with this company was wonderful. They responded to our request for an estimate within 24 hours (other companies either did not call or took more than a week), Brian assessed the work carefully and accurately, told us what would be involved in taking the trees down, when they would come to do the work, and gave us a good estimate. The work involved a crane, lifting trees over a building, some difficult situations. Everyone we spoke to affiliated with this company was friendly, polite and pleasant. Mr. Gonzalez and his crew were very knowledgeable, professional, and careful. The organization and teamwork were outstanding. They arrived on time, and did all the work in 3-3.5 hours, leaving a clean yard and wood stacked where we asked. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

I believe that I would consider this to be a large job. I called Brian a week prior to the work and he promptly reviewed the scope of work. (The back half of my lot (approx. 1/4 acre) was in essence a complete natural area that got out of control over the past 30 years.) He provided a written estimate for the work, on the spot. Although not the cheapest estimate that we received, Gonzalez Tree Services included items not offered in other estimates (ie ivy removal/scraping, poplar take down, sapling removal etc..) Less than a week after we received the estimate, Brian, Jose and his crew arrived promptly at 8:00 AM. We reviewed the scope of work with Jose and his men were already unloading all of their equipment. Had about a 7 man crew, 3 trucks, huge chipper and a bobcat along with many chainsaws, blowers and other equipment. Jose and his crew were very courteous throughout the day.( I as well as a neighbor were very impressed with the speed and effectiveness of the entire crew.) By three in the afternoon the job was complete. They left the site very tidy with raking loose soil and wood chips in the area serviced as well as cleaning the access area(front driveway and street in front of the house. There are tire tracks in the existing lawn from the equipment traveling from the street to the back yard area, but this was expected. I really believe that Jose and his crew will be very high on my list to contact should future needs dictate tree work A real pleasure to deal with these guys!

Gonzalez Tree Care did an excellent job cutting down and stump grinding the trees. They were careful to clean up all the branches, leaves, etc. You could barely notice there was a tree in that spot when they were finished. The only small hiccup during the process was in scheduling the job. There were a lot of calls after a thunderstorm (tornado warnings) so our estimate didn't make it through the system to be scheduled the first time. However, we were promptly scheduled when I sent Brian a followup message. Overall, I would highly recommend Gonzalez Tree Care. They definitely had teh best prices and do excellent work.

Very fast and discussed future tree removal needs

I wind brought down a tree in my backyard and they removed it. It was very good. I give them a good rating. They were able to come right away.
