I was so happy to see my new gutters working during the recent strong rains. So nice! I really can't say enough about the CREW, which are 4 really sweet guys who worked incredibly quickly and efficiently. Had a new roof and needed to replace the gutters and downspouts. The crew worked quickly and efficiently. They cleaned up and the entire experience was positive.

The whole process from start (Mr. D & J coming to look and price), to finish (gutters in place with leaf guard all around) went very professionally and there was no mess left behind. The crew was polite and proffessional. We got a good job at what we feel was a fair price.

I had got one other quote from a big name store that contracts out the work and then D&J. The price was half and i wondered. VERY glad i went with these guys!! Crew of 3 showed up to get the job done, then Johnnie showed up. Very impressed with the product, professional workers, and the added touch of the owner getting a look at the work being done. Better contractor experience ina longtime for me.

Johnny was very responsive and came out the same day I called to give us an estimate. He had a copy of his insurance certificate for me to view along with a book of letters of other happy customers. The schedule was booked for the next week or two but Johnny worked us in since our gutters were not working and our basement was flooding. There was some confusion on when the work was going to start because it rained one day and the crew showed up the next morning as I was leaving for work but we worked it out. The crew was great, they scraped and painted the boards after they removed the old gutters. I didn't realize they would put on a coat of Kilz on the boards before they put on the new gutters but I was pleased they did. They only replaced the sections of board that were rotted, which they showed me and never tried to replace anything that didn't need it. We have an old house and we weren't sure where the water drained since it went underground but they tested the drains to make sure water could flow and not back up before they replaced the new downspouts. They removed all debris and even offered to change a burned out flood light while they were up on the ladder finishing the gutters. They were very careful not to damage the bushes around the house when they put their ladders up and never leaned the ladder up against the gutters. It was a very positive experience.

They did the job very well and very quickly.

We noticed that the gutter in the front of our house was overflowing and creating a run off issue down the side of the lot to the back. We contacted the Company for a quote. After about a week they got back to us. They came out and gave us their opinion of what was causing the issue. Turns out an upgrade from the 4 or 5 inch gutter to a 6inch gutter was in order. This also included a larger downspout. They did the work quick once we gave them the go ahead. They even connected the downspout appropriately to the underground system previously installed to push water away from the house. We've gotten several compliments on the look of the new gutter.

D&J came out very promptly and provided a competitive quote for me to consider. After some comparison (they were not the cheapest), I selected D&J to replace our gutters. After scheduling, they came out promptly with a great crew. They efficiently removed the old gutters, quickly put up new ones as well as leaf guards where we had requested them. They did a great job of cleaning up after their work, were courteous and professional. I highly recommended D&J

Perfect. This work was done in coordination with the flat roof being replaced and had to be done in two steps. First the fascia was replaced, then the roor, then D&J came back and installed gutters/downspout. I wanted the back edge of the gutters to be placed behind the roof flashing to prevent rain and leaves/etc falling behind the gutter and leaving stains on the fascia beneath the gutter. D&J did it just like I asked. They suggested larger gutters/downspout than other bidders and stil did the work for less, and with a 20 year guarantee. They honored the 10% Angies' List coupon wihout question.

Johnny was prompt in responding to my call, gave me a concise estimate and acknowledged the AL discount. They accommodated my schedule and came on time to do the work which only took a couple of hours. They also did some touch up work that wasn't part of the gutter installation.

Johnny, John, Nick, and crew were all terrific to work with. From the time Johnny's wife answered my email at 10PM during a storm, to the time the crew and then Johnny himself came to our home to get our gutters in proper shape (dealing with a slew of unexpected issues), D&J was a pleasure to work with. I've already recommended them to two other friends, and feel 100% confident in doing so. Seriously, hire them.

The work that DJ did was outstanding. John is a very friendly and honest man. John gave us a good recommendation of what need to be done and not more. His people are all very professional and very nice. Since this is a brand new house, they were very careful undo the smaller gutter and installed a bigger gutter. Cleaned up after work done then walked us around to let us know what they did - A wonderful welcoming to us to the South...

Johhny came out within a day and gave me a written estimate of work to resolve the situation. He was very thorough in his process of evaluating my gutters and actually checked them all out to give me a true snapshot of the problem. Called him the next day to schedule the work and they took care of it a few days later. Very happy with the quality of work and promptness of both him and his son. Great workmanship and also gave me some inexpensive ideas on how to extend my gutters away from the house.

I called three gutter companies and D and J was the most prompt in returning my call. They were also the least expensive over the other two companies by at least $100. The owner does the bids and he is a good natured person who does things first rate and doesn't cut corners. Apparently he does it at the most reasonable cost as well. The crew arrived as scheduled and worked efficiently. They were polite, professional and did a great job. I would HIGHLY recommed D and J seamless gutters to anyone looking for new gutters, or repairs. A word of caution: If you ever have your gutters removed to paint your home, do not let the painters re-install the gutters. It looks like a simple job, but there is an art to it, and a correct way to hang gutters which painters do not specialize in. Save yourself some grief and let the gutter professionals do any re-installing of your gutters.

We were up bright and early Saturday morning and waiting on the gutter co. to arrive. No one called, no one showed up so I called at noon and had to leave a message. After another hour passed I called again and this time Johnny answered. I asked about the job that was scheduled and he said he was just getting ready to call me "one o-clock" by now. I asked why no one showed and his reason was it had rained the night before. I asked if he could have been so nice as to call since my family and I had to wait and he said he was just getting ready to that. Needless to say I got another company to do the job and I would not recommend this company in the future.

John came to give an estimate on Monday, I gave the approval, they crew arrived that same Wednesday, did an excellent job on the gutters, used excellent quality materials and were neat and polite. They let the property in the same condition it was when they arrived. Beautiful job! Recommend highly.

Johnnie came and gave me a quote the very day I phoned. Showed me samples of various products and explained the differences. Gave good advice too. The work was done sooner than I had expected and I'm very pleased. As a bonus, one of the workmen gave me lessons on how to store my heavy electrical cord. Who would expect that?

I needed an about 60 feet of linear gutter added to my house with two downspouts. I called the vendor I had used previously for gutter installation, but then the tornadoes tore through and I guess my small job fell off his radar. When he didn't follow up, I called D & J Seamless Gutters. The owner showed up in person within a day to give me a written estimate, and promised to get the work scheduled within a couple of days. He did. The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently and completed the job while taking care not to mar or damage the exterior of the house. They also repaired a leaking seam in the gutters installed two years ago by the other vendor and installed a diverter at a crux point where the older gutters tended to overflow -- all without additional charge. The owner told me about the differences in 5" and 6" gutters. He recommended the 6", but didn't push them or try to sell them, just gave his opinion. The new 6" gutters match the older ones perfectly in size and appearance. I'm very pleased with the job. D&J has a professional crew and they did excellent work for me.

Johnny King showed me his insurance certificate at first meeting, and checked in on every detail. He worked me into the schedule early, suspecting that there might have been some rot in fascia boards. (There was not, but we could not tell for sure until gutters were removed.) He took care of this job early due to the concerns I had, and left the job site with every speck of mulch in place, every walk cleaned. Johnny really knows his business and insists on securing gutters at least every 24" or closer. He has never had a BBB complaint in 33 years and wants to know first if there are any issues so he can fix them immediately. Johnny handles his business with great care, and is one of the best contractors I have dealt with in both my residential and commercial interests. He has one of only three 6" gutter machines in Raleigh. His crew was easy to communicate with and knowledgeable. If there are any issues in the future, I know I can just pick up the phone, and I am secure in the fact that I have spent money wisely. I could not recommend anyone more highly.

They gave me an estimate and they gave me an Angie's List discount. They came out right away and replaced the gutters. I couldn't be more pleased. I would absolutely use them again.

They did an excellent job. They were really thorough. They told me that I had another problem with the gutter on the other side and they explained that to me. They offered to fix that too and they said that there really wouldn?t be a complete job without that. They were very professional and took care of all the work without any problems. They did a great job. I got two estimates for the job and their estimate was the best. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

The gutters on the home we just purchased overflowed with the recent heavy rains and left standing water against the foundation which explains why "crawlspace dampness" was noted on our home inspection. Called D & J Seamless Gutters and the owner was there on time for our appointment. While I expected the owner to sell me on larger gutters, he recommended some modifications to the existing gutter system and adding only larger downspouts. He also recommended cleaning the gutters inside and out. The owner and crew showed up on time (on a Saturday) and completed the job. The crew also found some loose gutters (which they secured without charge) and a leaking seam (which they sealed without charge). When the owner returned at the end of the job he brought some PVC connectors and PVP pipes and asked he crew to connect the pipes to the downspouts and lead the pipes away from the house. The crew even burried the pipes in the flowerbeds without being asked to do so. I was impressed that they had completed the part of the job that I was expecting to do. My wife inspected the job and thought we got ALL new gutters because of the appearance of the cleaned gutters.

D&J provided an initial estimate which was in the right ball park. They were punctual and performed the work quickly. The new gutters were installed properly, look good and perform well. One problem, however, is there there were metal brackets that held the old downspouts to wood trim on the house. When they removed these brackets, they pulled some of the paint off the wood trim. In fact, some of the wood itself was pulled off leaving these patches unprotected and exposed to the elements. I suppose the brackets had been painted tight to the trim. In any event, they did not report this problem to me or repair it immediately. To their credit, when I pointed this out, they did come back and paint over the exposed wood.

I called Johnny at D&J after a previous gutter company that had cleaned my gutters tried to charge me to come back and repair a problem with the downspout caused by them in first place. Based on our discussion, Johnny could only quote the minimum service fee without surveying the problem first. He would also try to fit me in his schedule as soon as he could and coordinate with current jobs near my neighborhood to help save me some money. It was my first experience with D&J and I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Amazingly, Johnny had his workers at my house the very next day to fix it. It turned out to be a minor job that his guys were able to do rather quickly and they would not take any money for the service. Even though it wasn't a big job, it was a big deal to me to be treated this way and now, Johnny will be the first person I call whenever I need any work done on my gutters in the future. It is my pleasure to recommend D&J Seamless Gutters based on my experience with them.
