Ralph came out to measure for our fence. He was very personable and we were looking forward to working with him and his company. We never heard from him again. We email for a response but got nothing back. If a company does not want to do the work for you they should let you know since we waited around before contacting another company.

Ralph came opver a few weeks ago and walked the perimeter of the yard, marking locations of the proposed fence and answering ALL of our questions and concerns. The quote was excellent for the work we wanted done; actually less than what we thought the project would cost. The came on a Monday, dug all the holes and set and cemented all the posts. They said they would be back in a day or two and the came back on Wednesday and completed the job. The took extra care to make sure the job was done properly, measured and cut so that all the fencing was uniform. They did an excellent job on the two gates and we are VERY pleased with the finished product. Jason and his workers were very professional and we felt they went the extra mile to do an excellent job.

Never heard from the business with an estimate. Would not return phone calls so we did not use this company. Very disappointed in this business, Miscommunication with the company. Owner did return call and apologized for the confusion. We appreciate the response and therefore withdraw an F rating.

When he came out, it seemed like he did not want to do the job. He seemed like I didn’t know what I was talking about. Then, he never got back to me with an estimate. I felt that that was poor business.

I had my initial contact with Ralph Brown when he arrived promptly for an appointment to garner specifications and provide me with a formal estimate and contract and later conducted cordial email communications with Glynnis regarding the project. This is a family owned and operated business, a work model that has served me well in securing quality services over the years. Ralph informed me at the onset of a 2-3 week scheduling leadtime, which was not an issue and that his son, Jason would spearhead the project. From day one the installation could not have gone more smoothly - I was impressed by the productivity of a three man crew though their efficient approach to the process was clearly a result of expert experience. And though this is not a necessary criteria in selecting a vendor it is always a more rewarding experience to work with pleasant people like Jason and David who fielded my questions and concerns in a friendly manner, without a hint of petulance! Though I don't see additional fences in my future I have readily recommended this company to friends and neighbors.

The American Heritage Fence Co. did not quote us the lowest price, but after meeting with Ralph Brown, I realized that he was the most knowledgeable of the group that quoted our fence project. We have a hilly and difficult back yard for a fence. He offered good advise for alternate solutions for us to consider. We took his advise and made changes to our original ideas, and the end product turned out very well. The lowest price is not always the best price when considering quality workmanship. The American Fence Co. was worth the small amount of extra cost that we paid for our new fence.

Very impressed with everyone with whom we dealt. Professional from start to finish. Ralph took the time to discuss different options in style of fence and how to traverse certain areas that posed possible issues. The gentlemen who came to do the installation made sure that all possible issues were addressed and did a quality job on the installation.

American Heritage Fence Co did an awesome job from start to finish. The estimate was fair and even included suggestion on where to save money. I called Mr. Brown. First impression was fantastic as he is very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. We agreed on a date and time for him to come to the job site and measure for a quote. I thought I already knew exactly what I wanted in terms of the type of fencing. However, after explaining my functional needs to Mr. Brown he quickly explained why I would need somethnig slightly different. He had samples in his truck and was able to show me (hands on) why I needed something a little different. He measured on the spot, and made recommendations as to where and how to configure the fence and promised a quote within a couple of days, which he delivered as promised. The price was within my expectations, so I agreed to move forward with the work. The work was performed on time, on budget, and looks great. In the end, I got what I wanted for the proce I expected, and top it off with a very nice Thank you card. It was a pleasure doing business with American Heritage from start to finish and I will recommend them to anyone I know in the market for any type of fence. Great job!!!

American Heritage Fence did a great job on my fencing. I got a new roof again and they did an excellent job. They didn't trash out the place.

I can't say enough good things about the team and the service at American Heritage Fence Co! They are very friendly, very easy to work with, and do fantastic work! We had a 6' wood privacy fence installed in our backyard, and it looks amazing! More importantly, the fence functions just the way we wanted - keeps the dogs in the yard safely and the deer/rabbits/critters out! Several neighbors have stopped me to tell me how nice my fence looks and ask who put it up. The team had a few weather delays due to snow and freezing temperatures but were here on Saturday finishing up. They showed up when they said they would, they asked if it was okay to block my car in the driveway so they could have easier access to their trucks, and they worked diligently. They are very polite! The entire team is professional and you get exactly what you expect - good quality products in a timely manner. I would highly recommend!

Our fence was completed on Wednesday, November 6, 2013. It is beautiful. Everyone at the company was very pleasant to interact with, as well as professional. Nowadays one sees many fences slapped up in panels--quick and easy. This company built our fence piece by piece and the quality of their workmanship shows. Ralph and Jason were a pleasure to interact with. I am beyond pleased with the finished result and I highly recommend this company if you decide to have a fence installed. You will be more than satisfied with the company and their work. There is a reason this company has been in business for as long as they have--we picked out our style of fence, they arrived when they said they would and when they left we could not be happier with what they left us with--a beautiful, handmade quality fence. Don't shop around--this company and the people are THE BEST.

Extremely well. Company was recommended by a neighbor who was using them for the second time. Contacts were professional and timely. Price charged was as quoted and the lowest of three bids I received. Installation was performed on schedule. Fence looks great and functions as anticipated. Quality appears better than competitors bid.

I have used Ralph's company before and have always been pleased with his work. It was only natural that I use him to fix fences he had installed before. I called the company and the work was scheduled. A professional scope of work with the price was sent to me. An apology was made that the work had to be scheduled a bit far out because of his workload after a major storm that downed my fences. That was not a problem because I had other work that needed to be done, not the least of which was the removal of the tree. Ralph did his usual excellent job as well as some connecting work for my next door neighbor. There was some miscommunication about how far the wooden fence would extend, and Ralph gladly did the extension work within the original invoice price. I appreciate the relaxed and hassle-free mode of work with Ralph and his company.

I called American Heritage for an estimate on building a 260 linear foot wood privacy fence. I spoke to Ralph who was very professional and provided an estimate quickly. Their estimate was the highest among 5 other top rated fence companies in the area so I did not use them. Ralph called me to discuss the estimate and I applaud him for that. I did not use this company to build my fence but their professionalism was excellent so I rated them high based on that alone.

I got several estimates for a fence installation. American Heritage was not the cheapest but certainly the most knowledgable. It was also evident they were willing to work with my specific request for limited destruction of the existing trees. They requested half of the estimate up front and then a specific date for installation was identified after the desired materials were acquired. They were on the job on the date given. This is a family business with a build in culture to satisfy the customer's needs. When Jason could not be present on the second day, David (and his son) took over the completion.

American Heritage Fence were excellent. I will recommend them. They came when they said they would come. Their prices were good - for the quality of work.They are professional and I will absolutely use them again.

In the end we decided not to use this company because we went in with a neighbor also putting in a fence. But this companies prices were very competitive, the product was very high quaility and they were very professional. I would definitely recommend this company.

Had them come and do an estimate. The owner came and did all the measurements on time and was very nice. However after having additional estimates after this one, I see a lot of questions he did not ask and possible problems he did not mention. I had told him this was for a dog and he did not mention the need for tension wire at the bottom of the fence to ensure the dogs ( golden retrievers) could not push the bottom out to get out. The terrain has a number of hills and humps in the path of the fence. He did not mention the need to either knock those hills down or put large rocks in to make sure the dogs could not get under the fence. Since this is my first fence I also did not ask the questions but I expect someone that says to me that they have been in business for over 20 years and have corrected most of their mistakes already would mention this possible issues. Lastly, their estimate was very high compared to others that I had price it out. I did not use American heritage because of all of these.

had received several fencing estimates for our backyard and was told by all that we couldn't have the six inch diameter posts we wanted (the standard is 4" posts). Then American Heritage came. They were courteous, patient and absolutely wiling to work with me. The workers arrived on time, worked efficiently and were professional and courteous. They set the posts, gave the concrete plenty of time to cure before adding the rest and finished quickly. The scalloped top was beautifully done and the fence materials used were high quality. I was very pleased and several neighbors have asked for their contact info to install fences of their own. I am writing this review about 2 1/2 years after installation and I can say the fence still looks beautiful. Not a single board or post out of place. No buckling, bending warping or leaning. The latches and hinges are still functioning smoothly and without rust. This fence cost us more than we might have paid with another company, but their work is solid and I am happy with my fence. I thought it was definitely worth the money.

Everybody loves it. We liked the fact that they were very honest and they offered opinions on how things could be done better and they were right. They were very cooperative because we have dogs. There was an area where the dogs could possibly get out and they fixed that even though it wasn't on the schedule to do. They fixed it without any kind of issues. They ran into some rocks when they were putting in the fence posts and they took it in stride. The price was worth it. It was very fair for the work they did. They were very professional.

The work went great, but they were pretty expensive. We don't have any complaints about the fence. They weren?t the cheapest, but we were very happy with the work overall. From the estimate to the final job, everything turned out well.
