A1 Installer

Excellent! He had to crawl under my house and he had to climb on top of my house (each of these several times). The whole process took several hours and the provider earned the cost of the service and then some. (I feel in many respects I should have paid more but I am very happy with cost of services provided.) I provided the antenna and some line/cable; provider provided additional cable needed with no extra charge. He made me very, very happy.

The installation went well. We’re having some problems with the system but I don’t think that’s because of what they did. I thought they did a pretty good job of installing the home surround sound system for us. We chose them because they are on top of the list. They are very friendly and professional. They knew what they were doing. They had good reviews. They seem very knowledgeable.

We had Robert come in for one long, long job - to go to one house the day we were moving, unmount the TV and speaker systems he'd put in the wall, then go to the new house we were moving to and reinstall it all as well as wire the entire house for network (Cat5) cabling. Robert arrived on time, removed everything quickly and put it in a way that the movers could easily get over there. Without me asking, Robert also carefully spackled, covered and sanded over the spots. This meant that the guy we were renting from was able to paint it over and it looked like nothing ever happened. Pretty incredible. More importantly in the new house Robert was there quickly, handled the networking, and mounted everything perfectly onto the wall. He did, however, make a hole in the wall (well, a few drill marks) where he had to bring through the cabling. What I didn't expect was Robert would come back and sand, prime and re-paint the spot. On his own time. This was a chaotic, insane day that had Robert working from about 10am to 8pm around a group of movers who were rude, loud and unhelpful. My wife and I were in full-on crisis mode. Nobody was being helpful. Robert, however, was. He is a diligent, insanely careful and friendly - and knows his stuff. He left not a single mark on the carpet. He knew exactly what to do with every component and thoughtfully wired them - setting up switches on each network so that we could have the components done. We were, thanks to Robert, able to actually watch TV comfortably from bed on our first night. I feel compelled to review him every time, as he's hard-working and punctual and knows his stuff. He's pretty fairly-priced too.

It's a shame that a picture of a TV hanging on the wall just doesn't do what they do justice. I consider what they did in our home as much an art as a science or a trade. I have piece of mind knowing that everything is setup properly for the best viewing (and hearing) experience possible. If you've going to spend money on a nice TV and surround sound then get it installed by A1. Even better - talk to them first before buying your equipment. They saved us money and we ended up with a better experience as a result.

Installed LED TV over fireplace. Installed outlets, re-routed cable. Installed in-wall speakers next to the TV.

Robert was very responsive and early to the appointment. He did an excellent job and even did some extra work to make sure everything looked right. His price came in below what he quoted me on the phone and everything looks great. I would use A1 again and will refer friends to him in the future.

Robert was great! Once I shared that this was a surprise I needed done for a certain date, he called us directly and fit us in on a date he'd be nearby. He was on time, answered all of our questions, was pleasant to be around, and didn't mind our two dogs. We even discussed a return trip in case my father wants to upgrade his TV. He did clean up after himself a bit with a vacuum, but there were a few small screws and bolts on the carpet after he left. I was afraid our dogs could eat stuff like that, so I triple-checked the floor. To be fair, our carpet wasn't exactly clean when he arrived anyway. There were additional charges due to the nature of the work. Although I wasn't surprised by that, the amount was more than I anticipated. I should have asked him about that before the job started. Overall, we were more than pleased with the service and will definitely reach out to him in the future.

Robert was wonderful to work with, provided high quality installation, and it was all offered at a reasonable price. He was efficient and deaned up thoroughly afterwards. He also took the time to fully explain how to control the receivers and speakers for Zone 2. He also told me about a great iPhone/iPad app that will control the receivers remotely. He also mentioned that I should call him if I had any questions after he left. I would highly recommend Robert and A1 Installer.

Robert exceeded my expectations. The job took longer than he expected but he did not complain and did an amazing job. I love how everything looks, and he even had some suggestions during installation that ended up saving me money and resulted in a better outcome. I highly recommend him and will definitely call him again when we have future needs.

All I can say is they are amazing. This project took 2 men about 5 1/2 hours to complete the entire job. They relocated and remounted the TV and swivel mounting arm to above the fireplace. They installed surround sound speakers. They ran all speaker wires and cables into the wall, some things went down into the crawl space-over-and then back up. They moved and/or installed new outlets. They remounted the component shelving unit up out of the way, placed all components on shelves and hooked everything back up better than before. In addition they saw my loose outdoor speaker wires and stapled those back down along with running them into the crawl and up into the family room and hooked them into the receiver. I heard them running the vacuum several times and I couldn't find a single spec of sheet rock dust anywhere. They patched all old wall holes and the one they made. It's ready to paint today. I can not say enough great things about this company. Even our man hating, biting rescue dog loved them. She usually has a muzzle on and has to be locked up. She sat on the couch cuddling Robert! Truly a great company and great guys.

Robert came out, right on time and extremely professional. Everything was hooked up seamlessly and look like they've always been there. He also installed the sound bar and made sure all the wires, etc were neatly organized inside the cabinet. He also went the extra mile and made sure everything could be operated from one remote and walked me through all of it. He also showed me how the Bluetooth on the sound bar worked and went through the various settings with me - more than I imagined anyone would do! Highly recommend them.

Robert is great! Very knowledgable and professional! He did a great job! I will definitely be calling him for future installation needs!

The work done by A1 Installer turned out well. He does good work. He did it well and he was responsive.

He is awesome! He is a good guy and I really trust him. I even trust him enough to have left him in the house while I went to the store to get some parts for him to finish the work. He helped my husband figure everything out because my husband isn't very tech savvy. I also like that I can text or email him questions and he always gets right back to me to answer the questions. He doesn't even charge for that. When he does come to do work, I feel like he is the best priced person around. He is so great and I know he won't rip me off. Instead, I know he finds me the best deal. He is great with my kids as well. He can literally do all kinds of work, you should give him a call!

Robert was very well organized and very professional. I would recommend him to others.

I spoke to Rob via email initially, talked to him about what I wanted, he suggested some things and I bought them. We were booked for Monday, a mistake happened and he was on Tuesday. So at first I wasn't 100% sold on Rob and his team. Rob is a big guy, dressed a little like a biker, and had this guy who could not be older than 23 with him. I'm sorry Rob, I gotta say this, because it'll scare some people. This is really the only negative thing I can say. Rob was well-spoken, listened hard, was very careful to get everything right. I literally put a box of stuff in front of him - the Apple TV, Onkyo receiver, the speakers, the bluray player, and the TV (which was unboxed and downstairs, they happily moved it upstairs). I didn't do anything for them. I didn't get them cables, I didn't even open the boxes. I just put it there, got my wife to say "hey, put this thing there." They went into the attic, found out where the surround speakers would go, and went to work. Rob and his guy took their time, and i was wondering why until I saw the actual work. It's flawless. It looks amazing. There are no wires. They took all the boxes. Everything was set up. The Nests work fine, and because he wasn't 100% sure he got it right (he did, though!) he didn't charge me for them (which saved me $110). I should make this clear: I gave very vague instructions, put a load of unopened boxes in front of them, and they made my room look amazing.

I joined Angie's List to find a new Audio/Video company. I researched the companies and read a myriad of reviews. I chose A1 Installer as another review described exactly the job I wanted completed at my home. I spoke to Robert, the owner, directly on his cell and he answered a few questions. I then called the office and scheduled my appointment for install. Robert was 15 minutes early to my appointment. He is extremely knowledgeable, easy going, patient, personable and trustworthy. A1 is willing use what you have already purchased or will provide the proper wiring, components, fixtures, etc. The job took a few hours and went well. Robert explained the TV and remote set up, answered all of my questions specific to the job. I then asked a few more questions for some of my other issues and Robert was able to quickly solve an issue I was having with connecting a Sirius XM unit to my intercom system, made a couple adjustments on my DirecTv remote for better sound and gave my some input on my speaker system for a future visit. I am extremely pleased with the results and my experience with A1 Installers. Robert's personality and acumen of audio/video makes him my new company for any of my audio/video needs. I felt the price was fair and a value for the worked performed.

Everything was great, the crew was super nice, they cleaned up everything, vacuumed up any mess they made, hid all the wires perfectly, set it up exactly the way I wanted and made sure I was 100% happy. The entire install time took about 6 hours for both rooms.

Robert was very easy to work with. He listened to my plan and offered advice to improve on it. One of his pieces of advice was to distribute audio via digital coax cable, and I was planning to use analog signals. (Digital is much better and I'm very happy about this advice.) Robert installed 10 in ceiling speakers throughout the house. He ran cables to all my drop locations by navigating my difficult attic with precision. He was polite, courteous, and fun to be around. He stuck to the estimate. I'm very happy with his work, and I highly recommend him.

Great professional work at an affordable price! The installer (and business owner), Robert, is very knowledgeable about all things home theater. Trust me, if you have a idea but are concerned it won't work, he can make it work 99% of the time. For example, he relocated our bulky/ugly cable boxes into closets (one in a coat closet and one in a bedroom closet), and there's not a wire to be seen! We continue to get compliments from friends and neighbors about the clean, professional look of the TVs! One recommendation, have a plan on where you want the TV, do some homework and purchase as much of the equipment as possible for the installation ahead of time (items such as hanging brackets, IR transmitters for hiding cable boxes, etc). You have to realize that it's almost impossible for Robert (or anyone) every single one of these items. I recommend calling either him or his scheduler, Tammie, in advance to finalize a gameplan so you can have everything ready to go for installation day. Email works great with them too. They are very helpful in the process.

Was a few minutes late and called right on time to let me know he was running 10 minutes late! Arrived at revised time. Got the work done professionally, got input from me where he needed to, and cleaned up when he was done. Very pleased with the overall experience. Provided advice on future installations. Will definitely use again!

one other thing to note is he came prepared with additional wall mount. HE also had a along ethernet cable to run thru the wall. totally satisfied!

Robert is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his work. He did an excellent job with installation. My only problem with him is that he did not clean up after installation. Wire debride and wood dust was left on shelves, cabinets, floors, and carpet. Also, there was no effort to protect my furniture, and there were a couple of tiny nicks left in the wood.
