Please see above. Robert is a real professional, came in, opened the new tv. Set it up, worked with our universal to get it working, adjusted the color, explained to us how to use the features. then he hung the old TV in the bedroom on a swivel joint, which we like as we can move that tv around. Robert know what is doing, is personal, professional. I would use him again.

Robert gave us a call and I could tell on the phone he is experienced with this work. He answered all my questions and I was very comfortable with scheduling the work - especially because we had some gaps in equipment but Robert assured me he would have on hand what was needed. When Robert came out to do the work he handled everything smoothly and professionally. We needed some extras like a TV mount, some cables, and mounting of our sound bar - but we knew that in advance because Robert had discussed it with us previously, and the cost was reasonable and was in line with what was discussed over the phone. Robert took the time to do a neat job, and the final product is amazing. The TV actually looks bigger to me now! In addition Robert hooked up the Xbox and other stuff and went through our TV and audio settings to tweak them to assure we had the best picture. Expert work done with care and professionalism. We are very happy with the final outcome.

I can't say enough great things about A1. Robert took the time to get the system right. He ran all the wires under the house(in the crawlspace) for a great, very clean look. He then made sure everything was connected, running properly and calibrated the system. It looks and sounds amazing.

I have used Robert Doelker and his A1 Installer in the past and have submitted reviews raving about his expertise and great service. I've said I cannot imagine anyone better to turn to for home theater installation services and commented that I enthusiastically recommend him to family and friends because I know they will be very satisfied with his work and as impressed as I have been in dealing with him these past few years. So why another review about A1 Installer coming so recently after my last one? Anything changed? No, if anything, this operation just keeps getting better. Robert Doelker and his A1 Installer company have once again so favorably impressed me that I think it merits commenting about. A couple days ago I encountered problems accessing the PC that is hooked up to my home theater/media system. I texted Robert about it. Back came a suggestion for something to try. Tried it, but it didn't solve the problem. So I let him know. He explained something else I should try, and when that didn't do the trick, he asked if he could stop by when he finished up his work for the day. Turned out there was a loose wire in my PC that I had failed to spot (took him just minutes to spot the real problem) and he fixed it -- and in a way he says should mean it will never get loose again. While in our home he asked if I had experienced any other issues over the months (I had not) and asked if I had any questions about how to get the best use from what I have in my setup. So I mentioned some things I felt I did not know enough about. Whereupon he patiently gave me a nice little refresher course about how to get the most from my setup and how to most easily use it. Most places would have charged for a service call and I doubt any would have taken the initiative the way Robert did to make me more knowledgeable and more comfortable using the high tech equipment that I find challenging but he certainly is a master of. Clearly his attitude is that if he does great work and provides great service enough people will be happy they choose him and recommend A1 Installer to others. You can't beat his work and you can't beat his service. And then on top of that, no one else is likely to do a better job of showing you how to get the most out of what you have.

Robert was very professional and offered some really good solutions to my audio needs. He installed my tv over the fireplace with no extra holes to repair. Even when he discovered the builders built a floor in the wall he managed to work around that and figure out a solution. He was friendly, easy to talk to, on time, cleaned up mess and even looked at my husbands office to come up with a solution for all those crazy cords all over the place. I will be using him again soon to do the office and install in wall surround sound.

All we had to do was arrange access for Al Installer to both houses at the appropriate moving time. Everything went like clockwork; great care and perfect setup. What truly made a huge difference was that when we told Robert our ideas and asked him for his advice he showed us better ideas that would both save us money and also result in a much better looking setup. We are so glad we followed his advice. We love the result. Robert also made us aware of features at our new place that both enhance efficiency and appearances. We discovered Robert Doelker and A1 Installer a few years ago when we by sheer luck called him to fix a system that wasn't working as it should because it turned out that the previous installer (who had charged us a good bit more than his estimate) did a couple things wrong. Robert spotted the problem within a few minutes, did a superb job and nicely responded to questions we later asked and even came by to make sure we were doing things right. We cannot say enough good things about the professional quality and integrity of Robert Doelker and A1 Installer. We always recommend them to family and friends because we know they will be as satisfied and impressed as we are.

Robert came promptly and completed all work efficiently. Gave suggestions on how to make sound better on older flat screen. Took his time and left things clean. End product was neat and professional. Would use him for sure again!

Robert mounted a 55'' TV over fireplace, and hooked up the front speakers to the sound system. At first I was not sure he would be able to install the TV as this tv was a little over a year old and my husband had stripped the holes in which to put the screws on the back of the tv that was needed to house the brackett to attached to the backwall. However that did not phase Robert! He said "he had never left a house without doing the work he came to perform" and was able to adapt to the situation. He performed the task at hand pulling the cables going under the house in the crawl space that just happen to be at the opposite end where he needed to pull the cables. Robert hide all of the cable wires, connected to the blue ray dvd player, the satellite system and Wii player, labeled the equipment, and showed me how to operate the system. End result I am very happy and smiling from hear to hear. I truly appreciated the work that was performed in my house and want to acknowledge Robert and want to thank him from the bottom of my heart! The family room looks so much better. Less cluttered with all of the wires being hidden and a fresh clean look in the family room. A thumbs up, for a job well done. Robert is very knowledgeable and a true professional. We received a phone call to let us know if he would be early or later than anticipated. We really appreciated this. He was pleasant and did an excellent job on all the jobs we needed. He has a lot of knowledge about so many facets of the electrical world which we don't have.

Very please with the service of A1 Installers. I felt the price of the extendable mounting bracket was a little high so I would recommend you purchase your own and provide it for installation. I think you'll save a little money that way. If you are considering using A1 I would recommend them if you want a good experience.

Robert came out and had a look at my project, which I thought would be complicated. He was very enthusiastic about the project and didn't seem fazed by it at all. Tammie got the appointments set up via email very quickly. He made suggestions for the best TV, receiver, and outdoor speakers for my existing Yamaha/Definitive Technologies system and I had them delivered before the install date. I'm kind of a junkie for these things and I am very pleased with the products; my husband isn't interested in these things at all and he is blown away by the functionality and sound quality. Robert's suggestions were a PERFECT fit for our needs. Robert arrived on time and worked with/around the other contractors working that week. Our 1970's split level offered him a lot of challenges but he worked around them seamlessly to install the system which looks and sounds great. Because of the challenges he ran into, he stayed late to make sure everything sounded right before he went home. He came back two days later to finish up the outdoor speakers but neither my husband or I could be there when he finished to learn about all the bells and whistles. Robert came back AGAIN late that night just to make sure we were happy with the setup and could use everything. We were very pleased, but hit a snag with one of the remotes the next day. I sent Robert a text message and he got right back to me with the answer and now everything is working great again. Robert's prices were much lower that I have paid in the past (in other cities) and the quality of work was phenomenal. Robert is passionate about good technology and it really shows in his work. I will be using him in the future to mount two smaller flat screens and I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs TV advice or an AV install no matter the size.

Company never contacted me.

Robert assessed the problem, came in and did the job. There was a small issue which surfaced afterward, which he followed up promptly with - he new exactly what it was, and its taken care off. After dealing with several different home service professionals for many jobs over the years, what sets Robert apart is his professionalism. He responds to emails and calls very promptly, he says what he's going to do and then he shows up on time and does it for a fair value! You can't ask for more than that. Thank you Robert.

Scheduling an appointment was very easy. Tammie responded promptly to my emails and was a pleasure to work with. On the day of the appointment, Robert called to let me know that he could come earlier if it was convenient. We agreed to a new time and he arrived just before it. He was very friendly and worked quickly and efficiently. He cleaned as he worked. He took the time to make sure that everything was configured correctly and level. He checked my components to make sure that everything worked properly after the install was complete. At my request, he lent his expertise and offered some good suggestions regarding my home theater setup. The overall experience was extremely good and the setup looks amazing. The price was very cheap considering the work that was done (I purchased one of his install coupons). I plan on having him install another TV in the near future and HIGHLY recommend him for any A/V work that anyone may need.

He's knowledgable and conscientious. He gave us a lot of good ideas for another project he's doing for us in our den. He's also going to do some ethernet work for us as well.

I am extemely satisfied with the work done and am recommending him to everyone I know that needs these services. I was quote by another firm twice what he quoted and they would only have been doing the one TV over the fireplace and had described to me a much messier, longer job. Again I highly recommend this young man.

Very professional and quick. Robert managed to build into a tube tv compartment, mount and set-up my 55" tv, DVD and cable only in a few hours. Even did some light painting for a finishing touch. He did a wonderful job. I honestly did not think the job was possible. Especially excited and satisfied with the job was my husband who, could not believe how fast and fabulous the job was. I read the excellent reviews on Angie's List and decided to give A1 a call to set up a time for an estimate. I had AV installation projects in 4 rooms including mounting TVs, cabling, setups, networking, and more. I called on two different days and left detailed voice messages, and I sent an email on a third day as a followup. I NEVER heard back from anyone at A1. In the interim, I called two other AV services and they promptly came out the next day and gave estimates. I will hire one, but both were very professional, responsive, and had expert knowledge. It is no wonder why their businesses are thriving. Given A1's lack of interest, it is no wonder why their business will tank.

To begin with, I've had a lot of issues recently with customer service, so unfortunately I'm used to being taken advantage of, overcharged, put at the bottom of the totem pole as far as importance. I don't have a lot of faith in the work force these days, then I called A1 Installers. My faith is restored. I went through their website and emailed the information I wanted a quote on, within minutes I had a reply from Tammie. Robert called me that night to disuss the job, and minutes later Tammie called back to book the appointment. Very responsive, very personable, very professional. A day before the appointment, Tammie called to confirm the time and address. On the day of the appointment, Robert was there on time (actually a few minutes early, which worked out great for me!!), was completely personable and professional. He was such a hard worker and very knowledgeable. The TV looks great and all of the wiring is behind the wall. It truly looks like the TV came with the house. Do yourself a favor, use this guy. You won't be sorry.

Bought an Angie's List deal for $189 for in wall speaker installation. A1 Installers called me shortly after I purchased my deal and set up a date. They were available quickly but I actually needed a specific date for my schedule that was several days away, no problem they said. They called the day before to verify appointment which was nice. Robert was actually a few minutes early a nice touch. He was excellent. I had a thought about where I wanted the speakers that I had already ordered online and he said he was more than happy to put them where I said but actually looked at my room and TV and home theater setup and suggested alternate spots to mount speakers that he felt would create better surround sound. These new locations actually were less obvious and the speakers would blend in the wall better too. I was happy to have his expertise. The installation was first class he ran all the wires under house in crawl space and fished them up through walls with no damage to wall whatsoever. In fact the only cuts he made in my walls were the exact size of the speaker to install it. He finished very quickly and cleaned up all dust and mess. He then tested my speakers with Dolby Digital and reconfigured my receiver to be sure it was done right and would produce best sound for the size and location of speakers installed. I originally thought I would just try to do this job myself but decided to go with A1 Installers after seeing the deal on Angie's List and I am really glad I did. The install turned out to be more complicated than I thought with the narrow spacing between studs and some of the blocking in the wall in the way of the areas the speakers were placed. It would have taken me much more time and I am sure the end result would not have been quite as good. In my opinion if I need any kind of wires run, speakers, internet, cable/TV I would not hesitate for a second to call this company again. I would highly recommend A1 Installer and Robert.

Robert was the best. He came in to do the work and started...no talking, but professional, serious, and very knowledgeable. I would recommend Robert to anyone. I am scheduling a return visit to handle other audio/video needs. I love his work ethics. This is the first time I've had an HDMI TV set up with a beautiful picture with great sound, and one remote with all of the labeling done on the boxes. AWESOME job!
