Description of Work: We have had Heisey do all kinds of work for us for the past several years, and always, it is well done. Everyone of the employees is polite and a gentleman, knowledgeable, and no time is wasted. They are honest! Recently I had a sky light leak and ominous weather was approaching. Within 2 hours Thomas was here, fixed it and gone in 15 minutes! Now service like that cannot be expected all the time, but this serves as a good example.

Description of Work: Came out to do an estimate and said he would have it to me in two weeks. Several phone calls and 8 weeks later still no response or estimate. Must not want to do the work and could have just said so and not kept me hanging. Very unprofessional.

 + -1 moreJosiah Heisey and his father, Mark, run Heisey Enterprises, and they employ other crew members as needed and as appropriate to the job that needs to be done. They are familiar with virtually all of the systems that keep a home going, and they and their crew members have the skill and expertise to keep those systems in good shape. They do excellent work, and their prices are extremely reasonable. We have relied on them for virtually every task needed to get our house in shape as we put it on the market for sale. The quality of their work was confirmed when our buyer's home inspector found NOTHING that needed remediation prior to closing. [Anyone who has sold a house knows that this is almost unheard of, as the home inspector's report almost always includes a list of things that the buyers want fixed before closing.] In addition to their excellent skills, the Heiseys are wonderful people. They are warm and friendly, and absolutely trustworthy. For a number of years, they have had keys to our house, so that they could perform work in our absence. They also retain keys for a number of our former neighbors, for the same purpose. We recommend the Heiseys without reservation.
Description of Work: Most recently, Josiah Heisey and his crew completely cleaned out our house and garage in Boone, NC, in anticipation of new owners taking possession. This was an enormous job, and it was handled efficiently and carefully for a very reasonable price. More importantly, for the past ten years or so, we have relied on Heisey Enterprises for just about all of our home maintenance, including: (a) pressure washing and staining our decks, (b) painting our house and garage; (c) cleaning our gutters (and repairing them as needed; (d) repairing our roof, when needed; (e) performing "deep" cleanings of our house; (e) installing moisture barriers and a dehumidifier in our crawl space; (f) winterizing our house in the early winter and de-winterizing it in the spring (when we were out of town); (g) keeping vegetation trimmed and looking good; (h) re-finishing wood floors; (i) re-caulked around bathroom fixtures; (j) carpentry work; (k) install screen doors; (l) repair window cranking mechanisms; (m) carpet cleaning; (n) drywall repair and painting; (o) garden care; (p) grout and tile cleaning; (q) tree trimming and removal; and (r) checking on house when we were out of town.
