Remolding and Building / Roofing ever thing from A to Z. no job too big or small.
we take pride in our work it is future of our business.
I have been doing this work for 38 years it is a family business my son works with me and is going to take over in the future.
We had a multi project proposal written up for 2 gable roofs over front and rear porch, a 28 x 45 building and driveway concrete. We give him $15000 deposit. After the 2 gable roofs were built Richard Invoiced us for the material and labor for the roofs and we paid the bill. We spoke with him about quality issues and problems we found with the construction. He said he would fix them. While he had several guys working on those issues he started to re shingle our Roof. He invoiced us for that and we paid it. After the roof was completed we had quality issues with it also. Valleys had real bad waves in them, Boots not installed right, No drip edge used, over hangs all different and some to short and others to long. He said he would fix that. Now he has 2 jobs completed but not right. Richard proceeds to Grade for our building. When the grading is done we are invoiced and I talk with him about the other 2 jobs he completed that my wife and I arnt satisfied with. He assures us he will fix them. So I pay the invoice. Well we ask about the grading and footers because they don't look deep or wide enough. I asked if he had an inspector look at them. He says he didn't pull any permit and thought we were doing that. So we tell him stop. We want the jobs he has completed fixed and we want out deposit back. After that Never heard from him again.

Response from Richard D Hudgins RDH Builders
they where 3 projects that was bid on with 3 proposal that was add to one bottom line. the first one was the porch roofs they was complete and was told they love them .then they want to add more to them they wanted to roof the TRAILER !!! the porches was add on to.this raised the bottom line .they did pay the bills that was sent that was the difference off the 15000 the labor and the materials was more then 15000. also the 2nd project i paid grading and the rebar for the footing . this was the garage they did say they would get permits for the garage but did not . the porches did not need permits. so i was going to get the permits but they told me not to come back. they would not let me get my ladders off of the job. they started acting funny when we started grading . the contractors board found me in no wrong doing. they was just trying to get out of the contract they decided they did not want to spend the money on the projects.
