Ace Fence Company

Ace Fence Company called on the date scheduled and said they would be at our property by 2pm, so I left work to meet them there. At 2:40pm they still had not shown up so I called them back. They said "Oh, well, it's raining and we sent everyone home, we will be out there in the morning." This would not have been an issue at all, other than the fact that it had not rained at my house (which is 30 miles from the town they operate out of) since 12:30pm and that they didn't call to notify me of the change in plans. I agreed to work with them the next day, they said they would be there by 8:30AM. At 9:50AM they still had not shown up, once again with no call. I called them, and luckily they were only a few miles away, but still, to be nearly an hour and a half late with no phone call? It was almost enough for me to say I'd like my deposit back and I'll find someone else to do business with. I chose instead to give them a third chance, and didn't complain or ask them to leave, instead allowing them to install the fence. The price was fair, the quality was good, and once they got to work their service was good as well. I just think theyshould work more on their customer service skills and keep their paying customers in the loop with when they will be arriving and whether or not they're going to be late.
